8 STF Nego- rodite rod dostojan pokajanja! BSB BSB: Produce fruit, then, in keeping with repentance.

10 STF Veж stoji sekira drveжu kod korena; pa svako drvo koje ne raрa dobra roda, seиe se i u oganj se baca. BSB BSB: The axe lies ready at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.
11 STF Ja vas krљжavam vodom, da se pokajete; a onaj љto ide za mnom, jaиi je od mene, kome nisam dostojan obuжe poneti: taj жe vas krstiti Duhom svetim i ognjem. 12 STF On drћi lopatu u ruci svojoj, pa жe oиistiti guvno svoje, i skupiжe pљenicu svoju u ћitnicu, a plevu жe saћeжi ognjem koji se ne moћe ugasiti. BSB BSB: His winnowing fork is in His hand to clear His threshing floor and to gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”
13 STF Tada doрe Isus iz Galileje na Jordan k Jovanu, da ga ovaj krsti. BSB BSB: At that time Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John.
14 STF No ovaj mu branjaљe i reиe: Ti treba mene da krstiљ, a ti li dolaziљ k meni? BSB BSB: But John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?”
15 STF A Isus odgovori i reиe mu: Pusti sad! Jer tako treba da uиinimo sve љto je pravo. Tada ga pusti. BSB BSB: “Let it be so now,” Jesus replied. “It is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness in this way.” Then John permitted Him.
17 STF I, gle, glas s nebesa govoraљe: Ovo je Sin moj ljubazni, koji je po mojoj volji! BSB BSB: And a voice from heaven said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!”
