Mark 5 (SRPONSPC)

1Затим су стигли на супротну обалу језера у гедаринску област.On the other side of the sea, they arrived in the region of the Gerasenes.

2Чим је Исус изашао из лађице, из гробља истрча пред њега човек који је био опседнут нечистим духом.As soon as Jesus got out of the boat, He was met by a man with an unclean spirit, who was coming from the tombs.

3Он је живео по гробовима. Њега чак ни ланцима нико више није могао да држи свезаног.This man had been living in the tombs and could no longer be restrained, even with chains.

4Много пута је био везан оковима и ланцима, али би он покидао ланце и поломио окове. Нико није могао да га обузда.Though he was often bound with chains and shackles, he had broken the chains and shattered the shackles. Now there was no one with the strength to subdue him.

5Дању и ноћу је тумарао по гробовима и брдима, урлајући и ударајући се камењем.Night and day in the tombs and in the mountains he kept crying out and cutting himself with stones.

6Када је издалека угледао Исуса, потрчао је и пао ничице пред њим.When the man saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees before Him.

7Онда је крикнуо и рекао: „Шта хоћеш од мене, Исусе, Сине најузвишенијег Бога? Заклињем те Богом, немој ме мучити!“And he shouted in a loud voice, “What do You want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You before God not to torture me!”

8(Исус му је, наиме, већ рекао: „Нечисти душе, излази из овог човека!“)For Jesus had already declared, “Come out of this man, you unclean spirit!”

9Исус га упита: „Како ти је име?“ Нечисти дух му одговори: „Име ми је Легија, јер нас је много.““What is your name?” Jesus asked. “My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.”

10Он је преклињао Исуса да их не истера из тог краја.And he begged Jesus repeatedly not to send them out of that region.

11А тамо је, под брдом, пасло велико крдо свиња.There on the nearby hillside a large herd of pigs was feeding.

12„Пошаљи нас да уђемо у те свиње“ – замолише га.So the demons begged Jesus, “Send us to the pigs, so that we may enter them.”

13Исус им је то дозволио. Нечисти дуси изађоше из човека и уђоше у свиње. Истог часа, крдо свиња, око две хиљаде, сјури се низ обронак у море и подави се.He gave them permission, and the unclean spirits came out and went into the pigs, and the herd of about two thousand rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the water.

14На то су се свињари разбежали и јавили то људима у граду и по селима. Народ је дошао да види шта се догодило.Those tending the pigs ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened.

15Кад су дошли к Исусу, угледали су човека који је био опседнут мноштвом злих духова како седи, одевен и при здравој памети. То их је уплашило.When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons sitting there, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.

16Очевици су испричали другима шта се збило са опседнутим човеком и свињама.Those who had seen it described what had happened to the demon-possessed man and also to the pigs.

17Тада су почели да моле Исуса да оде из њиховог краја.And the people began to beg Jesus to leave their region.

18А када је Исус улазио у лађицу, замоли га човек који је био опседнут злим духовима да пође са њим.As He was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed by the demons begged to go with Him.

19Међутим, Исус му то није дозволио. Рекао му је: „Врати се својој кући, к својима, и реци шта ти је Господ учинио и како ти се смиловао.“But Jesus would not allow him. “Go home to your own people,” He said, “and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and what mercy He has shown you.”

20Човек је отишао и почео да говори по Декапољу шта му је Исус учинио. Сви су били задивљени.So the man went away and began to proclaim throughout the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And everyone was amazed.

21Исус се вратио лађицом на другу обалу језера. Поново се око њега окупило велико мноштво људи. Док је стајао уз језеро,When Jesus had again crossed by boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered around Him beside the sea.

22приђе му човек по имену Јаир, старешина тамошње синагоге, и паде пред његове ноге.A synagogue leader named Jairus arrived, and seeing Jesus, he fell at His feet

23Салетао га је молбама: „Моја ћерка је на самрти. Дођи и положи руке на њу, да би оздравила и живела.“and pleaded with Him urgently, “My little daughter is near death. Please come and place Your hands on her, so that she will be healed and live.”

24Исус пође за њим. Много народа је ишло за њим гурајући га.So Jesus went with him, and a large crowd followed and pressed around Him.

25Ту је била и нека жена која је дванаест година боловала од излива крви.And a woman was there who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years.

26Она је много пропатила од многих лекара и потрошила све што је имала. Ипак, ништа јој није помогло. У ствари, бивало јој је све горе.She had borne much agony under the care of many physicians and had spent all she had, but to no avail. Instead, her condition had only grown worse.

27Када је чула за Исуса, пришла му је с леђа и дотакла његову одећу.When the woman heard about Jesus, she came up through the crowd behind Him and touched His cloak.

28Говорила је у себи: „Ако дотакнем само његову одећу, оздравићу.“For she kept saying, “If only I touch His garments, I will be healed.”

29Истог часа је крварење престало, и она је осетила у телу да се решила своје муке.Immediately her bleeding stopped, and she sensed in her body that she was healed of her affliction.

30Исус је одмах осетио да је из њега изашла сила, па се окренуо мноштву и упитао: „Ко је дотакао моју одећу?“At once Jesus was aware that power had gone out from Him. Turning to the crowd, He asked, “Who touched My garments?”

31Његови ученици му одговорише: „Видиш и сам колико се народа гура око тебе. Зашто онда питаш: ’Ко ме је дотакао?’“His disciples answered, “You can see the crowd pressing in on You, and yet You ask, ‘Who touched Me?’”

32Али Исус је и даље гледао око себе да види ону која је то учинила.But He kept looking around to see who had done this.

33Уплашена и уздрхтала жена је знала шта се догодило. Иступила је напред, пала ничице пред Исуса, и рекла му целу истину.Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him trembling in fear, and she told Him the whole truth.

34Исус јој онда рече: „Ћерко, твоја те је вера исцелила; иди с миром и буди здрава од своје болести.““Daughter,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be free of your affliction.”

35Док је он још говорио, дођу гласници из куће Јаира, старешине синагоге, говорећи Јаиру: „Твоја ћерка је умрла. Зашто да и даље замараш учитеља?“While He was still speaking, messengers from the house of Jairus arrived and said, “Your daughter is dead; why bother the Teacher anymore?”

36Исус се није обазрео на њихове речи, већ је рекао старешини: „Не бој се, само веруј!“But Jesus overheard their conversation and said to Jairus, “Do not be afraid; just believe.”

37Никоме није дозволио да пође са њим, осим Петру, Јакову, Јовану, брату Јаковљевом.And He did not allow anyone to accompany Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James.

38Затим су дошли у кућу старешине Јаира. Исус је видео пометњу и чуо плач и нарицање.When they arrived at the house of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw the commotion and the people weeping and wailing loudly.

39Он уђе у кућу и упита окупљене: „Зашто сте узнемирени? Зашто плачете? Дете није умрло, него спава.“He went inside and asked, “Why all this commotion and weeping? The child is not dead, but asleep.”

40Они су му се, пак, подсмевали. Исус је затим удаљио присутне, па је повео са собом оца и мајку детета и своје пратиоце, и ушао тамо где је било дете.And they laughed at Him. After He had put them all outside, He took the child’s father and mother and His own companions, and went in to see the child.

41Онда ју је узео за руку и рекао јој: „Талита, кум!“ (што у преводу значи: „Девојчице, теби говорим, устани!“)Taking her by the hand, Jesus said, “Talitha koum!” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”

42Она је истог тренутка устала и почела да хода (било јој је дванаест година). Присутни су били веома зачуђени и запањени.Immediately the girl got up and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). And at once they were utterly astounded.

43Исус им је онда строго заповедио да не причају другима о овоме и рекао им да дају девојчици да једе.Then Jesus gave strict orders that no one should know about this, and He told them to give her something to eat.
