BSB BSB: Do not rejoice, O Israel, with exultation like the nations, for you have played the harlot against your God; you have made love for hire on every threshing floor.
2 ULB தானியக்களமும் திராட்சைத்தொட்டியும் அவர்களைப் பிழைக்கச்செய்வதில்லை; அவர்களுக்குத் திராட்சைரசம் ஒழிந்துபோகும். BSB BSB: The threshing floor and winepress will not feed them, and the new wine will fail them.

5 ULB ஆசரிப்பு நாளிலும், கர்த்தருடைய பண்டிகைநாளிலும் என்ன செய்வீர்கள்? BSB BSB: What will you do on the appointed day, on the day of the LORD’s feast?

8 ULB எப்பிராயீமின் காவற்காரர்கள் என் தேவனோடு எதிர்த்து நிற்கிறார்கள்; தீர்க்கதரிசி தன் வழிகளிலெல்லாம் குருவிபிடிக்கிறவனுடைய கண்ணியாகவும், தன் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்திலே பகையாளியாகவும் இருக்கிறான். BSB BSB: The prophet is Ephraim’s watchman, along with my God, yet the snare of the fowler lies on all his paths. Hostility is in the house of his God!

14 ULB கர்த்தாவே, நீர் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பதைக் கொடும்; அவர்களுக்கு விழுந்துபோகிற கர்ப்பத்தையும் பால் இல்லாத முலைகளையும் கொடும். BSB BSB: Give them, O LORD—what will You give? Give them wombs that miscarry and breasts that dry up!
15 ULB அவர்களுடைய பொல்லாப்பெல்லாம் கில்காலிலே நடக்கும்; அங்கே நான் அவர்களை வெறுத்தேன்; அவர்களுடைய பொல்லாப்பினிமித்தம் அவர்களை நான் என் சமுகத்தைவிட்டுத் துரத்துவேன்; இனி அவர்களை நேசிக்கமாட்டேன்; அவர்களுடைய அதிபதிகள் எல்லோரும் துரோகிகள். BSB BSB: All their evil appears at Gilgal, for there I hated them. I will drive them from My house for the wickedness of their deeds. I will no longer love them; all their leaders are rebellious.
16 ULB எப்பிராயீமர்கள் வெட்டுண்டுபோனார்கள்; அவர்கள் வேர் உலர்ந்துபோயிற்று, கனிகொடுக்கமாட்டார்கள்; அவர்கள் பிள்ளைகளைப் பெற்றாலும், அவர்களுடைய கர்ப்பத்தின் பிரியமான கனிகளை அழிப்பேன். BSB BSB: Ephraim is struck down; their root is withered; they cannot bear fruit. Even if they bear children, I will slay the darlings of their wombs.
