BSB BSB: At that time the army of the king of Babylon was besieging Jerusalem, and Jeremiah the prophet was imprisoned in the courtyard of the guard, which was in the palace of the king of Judah.

BSB BSB: Zedekiah king of Judah will not escape from the hands of the Chaldeans, but he will surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and will speak with him face to face and see him eye to eye.

8 ULB அப்படியே என் பெரிய தகப்பன் மகனாகிய அனாமெயேல், கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையின்படி காவல் நிலையத்தின் முற்றத்தில் என்னிடத்திற்கு வந்து: பென்யமீன் நாட்டு ஆனதோத்தூரிலுள்ள என் நிலத்தை நீர் வாங்கிக்கொள்ளும்; சொத்துரிமை உமக்குண்டு, அதை மீட்கும் அதிகாரம் உமக்குரியது; அதை வாங்கிக்கொள்ளும் என்றான்; அப்பொழுது அது கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை என்று அறிந்துகொண்டேன். BSB BSB: Then, as the LORD had said, my cousin Hanamel came to me in the courtyard of the guard and urged me, ‘Please buy my field in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin, for you own the right of inheritance and redemption. Buy it for yourself.’” Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD.

BSB BSB: “This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: Take these deeds—both the sealed copy and the open copy of the deed of purchase—and put them in a clay jar to preserve them for a long time.

BSB BSB: the One great in counsel and mighty in deed, whose eyes are on all the ways of the sons of men, to reward each one according to his ways and according to the fruit of his deeds.

BSB BSB: They came in and possessed it, but they did not obey Your voice or walk in Your law. They failed to perform all that You commanded them to do, and so You have brought upon them all this disaster.

BSB BSB: See how the siege ramps are mounted against the city to capture it. And by sword and famine and plague, the city has been given into the hands of the Chaldeans who are fighting against it. What You have spoken has happened, as You now see!

BSB BSB: Yet You, O Lord GOD, have said to me, ‘Buy for yourself the field with silver and call in witnesses, even though the city has been delivered into the hands of the Chaldeans!’”

BSB BSB: Therefore this is what the LORD says: Behold, I am about to deliver this city into the hands of the Chaldeans and of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, who will capture it.

BSB BSB: And the Chaldeans who are fighting against this city will come in, set it on fire, and burn it, along with the houses of those who provoked Me to anger by burning incense to Baal on their rooftops and by pouring out drink offerings to other gods.
30 ULB இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களும் யூதா மக்களும் தங்கள் சிறுவயதுமுதல் என் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதையே செய்துவந்தார்கள்; இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் தங்கள் கைகளின் செய்கையினால் எனக்குக் கோபத்தையே உண்டாக்கி வந்தார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். BSB BSB: For the children of Israel and of Judah have done nothing but evil in My sight from their youth; indeed, they have done nothing but provoke Me to anger by the work of their hands, declares the LORD.

BSB BSB: For this city has aroused My wrath and fury from the day it was built until now. Therefore I will remove it from My presence

BSB BSB: because of all the evil the children of Israel and of Judah have done to provoke Me to anger—they, their kings, their officials, their priests and prophets, the men of Judah, and the residents of Jerusalem.
33 ULB முகத்தையல்ல, முதுகை எனக்குக் காட்டினார்கள்; நான் ஏற்கனவே அவர்களுக்கு உபதேசித்தும் அவர்கள் புத்தியை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாமற்போனார்கள். BSB BSB: They have turned their backs to Me and not their faces. Though I taught them again and again, they would not listen or respond to discipline.

BSB BSB: They have built the high places of Baal in the Valley of Ben-hinnom to make their sons and daughters pass through the fire to Molech—something I never commanded them, nor had it ever entered My mind, that they should commit such an abomination and cause Judah to sin.

37 ULB இதோ, என் சினத்திலும், என் கோபத்திலும், என் மகா உக்கிரத்திலும், நான் அவர்களைத் துரத்தின எல்லா தேசங்களிலுமிருந்து அவர்களைச் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு, அவர்களை இந்த இடத்திற்குத் திரும்பிவரவும் இதில் சுகமாய்த் தங்கியிருக்கவும் செய்வேன். BSB BSB: I will surely gather My people from all the lands to which I have banished them in My furious anger and great wrath, and I will return them to this place and make them dwell in safety.
38 ULB அவர்கள் என் மக்களாயிருப்பார்கள், நான் அவர்கள் தேவனாயிருப்பேன். BSB BSB: They will be My people, and I will be their God.
39 ULB அவர்கள் தங்களுக்கும், தங்கள் பின்சந்ததியாருக்கும், தங்கள் பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் நன்மையுண்டாக எல்லா நாட்களிலும் எனக்குப் பயப்படுவதற்கு, நான் அவர்களுக்கு ஒரே இருதயத்தையும் ஒரே வழியையும் கட்டளையிட்டு, BSB BSB: I will give them one heart and one way, so that they will always fear Me for their own good and for the good of their children after them.
40 ULB அவர்களுக்கு நன்மை செய்யும்படி, நான் அவர்களை விட்டுப் பின்வாங்குவதில்லை என்கிற நிலையான உடன்படிக்கையை அவர்களுடன் செய்து, அவர்கள் என்னைவிட்டு அகன்றுபோகாமலிருக்க, எனக்குப் பயப்படும் பயத்தை அவர்கள் இருதயத்தில் வைத்து, BSB BSB: I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never turn away from doing good to them, and I will put My fear in their hearts, so that they will never turn away from Me.
41 ULB அவர்களுக்கு நன்மை செய்யும்படி அவர்கள்மேல் சந்தோஷமாயிருந்து, என் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் என் முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் அவர்களை இந்த தேசத்தில் நிச்சயமாய் நாட்டுவேன். BSB BSB: Yes, I will rejoice in doing them good, and I will faithfully plant them in this land with all My heart and with all My soul.
42 ULB நான் இந்த மக்கள்மேல் இந்தப் பெரிய தீங்கையெல்லாம் வரச்செய்ததுபோல, அவர்களைக்குறித்துச் சொன்ன எல்லா நன்மையையும் அவர்கள்மேல் வரச்செய்வேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். BSB BSB: For this is what the LORD says: Just as I have brought all this great disaster on this people, so I will bring on them all the good I have promised them.
43 ULB மனிதனும் மிருகமும் இல்லாதபடி அழிந்துபோனது என்றும், கல்தேயரின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்பட்டது என்றும், நீங்கள் சொல்லுகிற இந்த தேசத்தில் நிலங்கள் வாங்கப்படும். BSB BSB: And fields will be bought in this land about which you are saying, ‘It is a desolation, without man or beast; it has been delivered into the hands of the Chaldeans.’
44 ULB பென்யமீன் தேசத்திலும், எருசலேமின் சுற்றுப்புறங்களிலும், யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களிலும், மலைப்பாங்கான பட்டணங்களிலும், பள்ளத்தாக்கான பட்டணங்களிலும், தென்திசைப் பட்டணங்களிலும், நிலங்கள் விலைக்கிரயமாக வாங்கப்படுகிற பத்திரங்களில் கையெழுத்துப் போடுகிறதும் முத்திரையிடுகிறதும் அதற்குச் சாட்சி வைக்கிறதும் உண்டாயிருக்கும்; அவர்கள் சிறையிருப்பைத் திருப்புவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றார். BSB BSB: Fields will be purchased with silver, and deeds will be signed, sealed, and witnessed in the land of Benjamin, in the areas surrounding Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah—the cities of the hill country, the foothills, and the Negev—because I will restore them from captivity, declares the LORD.”
