3 ULB அவனுக்குத் தொள்ளாயிரம் இரும்பு ரதங்கள் இருந்தன; அவன் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை இருபது வருடங்கள் கொடுமையாக ஒடுக்கினான்; இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் கர்த்தரை நோக்கி முறையிட்டார்கள். BSB BSB: Then the Israelites cried out to the LORD, because Jabin had nine hundred chariots of iron, and he had harshly oppressed the Israelites for twenty years.

BSB BSB: And I will draw out Sisera the commander of Jabin’s army, his chariots, and his troops to the River Kishon, and I will deliver him into your hand.’”
8 ULB அதற்குப் பாராக்: நீ என்னோடு வந்தால் போவேன்; என்னோடு வராவிட்டால், நான் போகமாட்டேன் என்றான். BSB BSB: Barak said to her, “If you will go with me, I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go.”

BSB BSB: “I will certainly go with you,” Deborah replied, “but the road you are taking will bring you no honor, because the LORD will be selling Sisera into the hand of a woman.” So Deborah got up and went with Barak to Kedesh,

12 ULB அபினோகாமின் மகன் பாராக் தாபோர் மலையில் ஏறிப்போனான் என்று சிசெராவுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டபோது, BSB BSB: When Sisera was told that Barak son of Abinoam had gone up Mount Tabor,
13 ULB சிசெரா தொள்ளாயிரம் இரும்பு ரதங்களாகிய தன்னுடைய எல்லா ரதங்களையும், தன்னோடிருக்கும் எல்லா மக்களையும், புறஜாதிகளின் பட்டணமாகிய அரோசேத்திலிருந்து கீசோன் பள்ளத்தாக்கிற்கு வரவழைத்தான். BSB BSB: he summoned all nine hundred of his iron chariots and all the men with him, from Harosheth-hagoyim to the River Kishon.
14 ULB அப்பொழுது தெபொராள் பாராக்கை நோக்கி: எழுந்துபோ; கர்த்தர் சிசெராவை உன்னுடைய கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும் நாள் இதுவே; கர்த்தர் உனக்கு முன்பாகப் புறப்படவில்லையா என்றாள்; அப்பொழுது பாராக்கும், அவன் பின்னே பத்தாயிரம்பேரும் தாபோர் மலையிலிருந்து இறங்கினார்கள். BSB BSB: Then Deborah said to Barak, “Arise, for this is the day that the LORD has delivered Sisera into your hand. Has not the LORD gone before you?” So Barak came down from Mount Tabor with ten thousand men following him.

16 ULB பாராக் ரதங்களையும் படையையும் யூதர் அல்லாதவர்களுடைய அரோசேத்வரை துரத்தினான்; சிசெராவின் படையெல்லாம் பட்டயக்கூர்மையினால் விழுந்தது; ஒருவனும் மீதியாக இருக்கவில்லை. BSB BSB: Then Barak pursued the chariots and army as far as Harosheth-hagoyim, and the whole army of Sisera fell by the sword; not a single man was left.
17 ULB சிசெரா கால்நடையாகக் கேனியனான ஏபேரின் மனைவி யாகேலுடைய கூடாரத்திற்கு ஓடிவந்தான்; அப்பொழுது யாபீன் என்னும் ஆத்சோரின் ராஜாவுக்கும், கேனியனான ஏபேரின் வீட்டிற்கும் சமாதானம் உண்டாயிருந்தது. BSB BSB: Meanwhile, Sisera had fled on foot to the tent of Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite, because there was peace between Jabin king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.
18 ULB யாகேல் வெளியே சிசெராவுக்கு எதிர்கொண்டுபோய்: உள்ளே வாரும்; என்னுடைய ஆண்டவனே, என்னிடத்தில் உள்ளே வாரும், பயப்பட வேண்டாம் என்று அவனிடம் சொன்னாள்; அப்படியே அவள் கூடாரத்தின் உள்ளே வந்தபோது, அவனை ஒரு போர்வையினாலே மூடினாள். BSB BSB: Jael went out to greet Sisera and said to him, “Come in, my lord. Come in with me. Do not be afraid.” So he entered her tent, and she covered him with a blanket.

BSB BSB: Sisera said to her, “Please give me a little water to drink, for I am thirsty.” So she opened a container of milk, gave him a drink, and covered him again.

21 ULB பின்பு ஏபேரின் மனைவியாகிய யாகேல் ஒரு கூடார ஆணியை எடுத்து தன்னுடைய கையிலே சுத்தியைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு, மெதுவாக அவனுடைய அருகில் வந்து, அவனுடைய தலையின் பக்கவாட்டில் அந்த ஆணியை அடித்தாள்; அது ஊடுருவிப்போய், தரையிலே புதைந்தது; அப்பொழுது அயர்ந்து தூங்கிக்கொண்டிருந்த அவன் இறந்துப்போனான். BSB BSB: But as he lay sleeping from exhaustion, Heber’s wife Jael took a tent peg, grabbed a hammer, and went silently to Sisera. She drove the peg through his temple and into the ground, and he died.
22 ULB பின்பு சிசெராவை பின்தொடருகிற பாராக் வந்தான்; அப்பொழுது யாகேல் வெளியே அவனுக்கு எதிர்கொண்டுபோய்: வாரும், நீ தேடுகிற மனிதனை உமக்குக் காண்பிப்பேன் என்று சொன்னாள்; அவன் அவளிடத்திற்கு வந்தபோது, இதோ, சிசெரா செத்துக்கிடந்தான்; ஆணி அவனுடைய தலையில் அடித்திருந்தது. BSB BSB: When Barak arrived in pursuit of Sisera, Jael went out to greet him and said to him, “Come, and I will show you the man you are seeking.” So he went in with her, and there lay Sisera dead, with a tent peg through his temple.
23 ULB இப்படி தேவன் அந்த நாளிலே கானானியர்களின் ராஜாவாகிய யாபீனை இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் தாழ்த்தினார். BSB BSB: On that day God subdued Jabin king of Canaan before the Israelites.
24 ULB இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களின் கை கானானியர்களின் ராஜாவாகிய யாபீனை அழிக்கும்வரைக்கும் அவன்மேல் பெலத்துக்கொண்டேயிருந்தது. BSB BSB: And the hand of the Israelites grew stronger and stronger against Jabin king of Canaan until they destroyed him.
