Psalm 107 (ULB)

1கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவர் நல்லவர், அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது.Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.

2கர்த்தரால் எதிரியின் கைக்கு நீங்கலாக்கி மீட்கப்பட்டு,Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy

3கிழக்கிலும் மேற்கிலும் வடக்கிலும் தெற்கிலுமுள்ள பல தேசங்களிலுமிருந்து சேர்க்கப்பட்டவர்கள், அப்படிச் சொல்வார்களாக.and gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.

4அவர்கள் வாழும் ஊரைக்காணாமல், வனாந்திரத்திலே பாலைவனவழியாக,Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no path to a city in which to dwell.

5பசியாகவும், தாகமாகவும், ஆத்துமா சோர்ந்துபோனதாகவும் அலைந்து திரிந்தார்கள்.They were hungry and thirsty; their soul fainted within them.

6தங்களுடைய ஆபத்திலே கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டார்கள், அவர்கள் இக்கட்டுகளிலிருந்து அவர்களை மீட்டெடுத்தார்.Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He delivered them from their distress.

7வாழும் ஊருக்குப்போய்ச்சேர, அவர்களைச் செவ்வையான வழியிலே நடத்தினார்.He led them on a straight path to reach a city where they could live.

8தாகமுள்ள ஆத்துமாவைக் கர்த்தர் திருப்தியாக்கி, பசியுள்ள ஆத்துமாவை நன்மையினால் நிரப்புகிறாரென்று,Let them give thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men.

9அவருடைய கிருபையினிமித்தமும், மனிதர்களுக்கு அவர் செய்கிற அதிசயங்களினிமித்தமும் அவரைத் துதிப்பார்களாக.For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.

10தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகளுக்கு விரோதமாகக் கலகம்செய்து, உன்னதமானவருடைய ஆலோசனையை அசட்டைசெய்தவர்கள்,Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in affliction and chains,

11காரிருளிலும் மரண இருளிலும் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்து, ஒடுக்கத்திலும் இரும்பிலும் கட்டப்பட்டு கிடந்தார்கள்.because they rebelled against the words of God and despised the counsel of the Most High.

12அவர்களுடைய இருதயத்தை அவர் வருத்தத்தால் தாழ்த்தினார்; உதவிசெய்ய ஒருவரும் இல்லாமல் விழுந்து போனார்கள்.He humbled their hearts with hard labor; they stumbled, and there was no one to help.

13தங்களுடைய ஆபத்திலே கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டார்கள்; அவர்கள் இக்கட்டுகளிலிருந்து அவர்களை நீங்கலாக்கிக் காப்பாற்றினார்.Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress.

14காரிருளிலும் மரண இருளிலுமிருந்து அவர்களை வெளிப்படச்செய்து, அவர்களுடைய கட்டுகளை அறுத்தார்.He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and broke away their chains.

15கர்த்தர் வெண்கலக் கதவுகளை உடைத்து, இரும்புத் தாழ்ப்பாள்களை முறித்தாரென்று,Let them give thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men.

16அவருடைய கிருபையினிமித்தமும், மனிதர்களுக்கு அவர் செய்கிற அதிசயங்களினிமித்தமும் அவரைத் துதிப்பார்களாக.For He has broken down the gates of bronze and cut through the bars of iron.

17புத்தியீனரும் தங்களுடைய கலக வழிகளாலும் தங்களுடைய அக்கிரமங்களாலும் நோய்கொண்டு ஒடுங்கிப்போகிறார்கள்.Fools, in their rebellious ways, and through their iniquities, suffered affliction.

18அவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா எல்லா உணவையும் வெறுக்கிறது, அவர்கள் மரணவாசல்கள் வரையிலும் நெருங்குகிறார்கள்.They loathed all food and drew near to the gates of death.

19தங்களுடைய ஆபத்திலே கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் இக்கட்டுகளுக்கு அவர்களை நீங்கலாக்கிக் காப்பாற்றுகிறார்.Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress.

20அவர் தமது வசனத்தை அனுப்பி அவர்களைக் குணமாக்கி, அவர்களை அழிவுக்குத் தப்புவிக்கிறார்.He sent forth His word and healed them; He rescued them from the Pit.

21அவர்கள் கர்த்தரை அவருடைய கிருபையினிமித்தமும், மனிதர்களுக்கு அவர் செய்கிற அதிசயங்களினிமித்தமும் துதித்து,Let them give thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men.

22நன்றிபலிகளைச் செலுத்தி, அவருடைய செயல்களை ஆனந்த சத்தத்தோடு விவரிப்பார்களாக.Let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving and declare His works with rejoicing.

23கப்பலேறி, கடற்பயணம்செய்து, திரளான தண்ணீர்களிலே தொழில் செய்கிறார்களே,Others went out to sea in ships, conducting trade on the mighty waters.

24அவர்கள் கர்த்தருடைய செயல்களையும், ஆழத்திலே அவருடைய அதிசயங்களையும் காண்கிறார்கள்.They saw the works of the LORD, and His wonders in the deep.

25அவர் கட்டளையிட பெருங்காற்று எழும்பி, அதின் அலைகளைக் கொந்தளிக்கச்செய்யும்.For He spoke and raised a tempest that lifted the waves of the sea.

26அவர்கள் வானத்தில் ஏறி, ஆழங்களில் இறங்குகிறார்கள், அவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா துன்பத்தினால் கரைந்துபோகிறது.They mounted up to the heavens, then sunk to the depths; their courage melted in their anguish.

27குடித்துவெறித்தவனைப்போல் அலைந்து தடுமாறுகிறார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய ஞானமெல்லாம் முழுகிப்போகிறது.They reeled and staggered like drunkards, and all their skill was useless.

28அப்பொழுது தங்களுடைய ஆபத்திலே அவர்கள் கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறார்கள், அவர்களுடைய இக்கட்டுகளுக்கு அவர்களை நீங்கலாக்கி விடுவிக்கிறார்.Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distress.

29கொந்தளிப்பை அமர்த்துகிறார், அதின் அலைகள் அடங்குகின்றது.He calmed the storm to a whisper, and the waves of the sea were hushed.

30அமைதி உண்டானதிற்காக அவர்கள் சந்தோஷப்படுகிறார்கள்; தாங்கள் விரும்பிய துறைமுகத்தில் அவர்களைக் கொண்டுவந்து சேர்க்கிறார்.They rejoiced in the silence, and He guided them to the harbor they desired.

31அவர்கள் கர்த்தரை அவருடைய கிருபையினிமித்தமும், மனிதர்களுக்கு அவர் செய்கிற அதிசயங்களினிமித்தமும் துதித்து,Let them give thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men.

32மக்களின் சபையிலே அவரை உயர்த்தி, மூப்பர்களின் சங்கத்திலே அவரைப் போற்றுவார்களாக.Let them exalt Him in the assembly of the people and praise Him in the council of the elders.

33அவர் ஆறுகளை வனாந்திரமாகவும், நீரூற்றுகளை வறண்ட இடமாகவும்,He turns rivers into deserts, springs of water into thirsty ground,

34குடிகளுடைய பொல்லாப்புக்காக செழிப்பான தேசத்தைத் தரிசு நிலமாகவும் மாற்றுகிறார்.and fruitful land into fields of salt, because of the wickedness of its dwellers.

35அவர் வனாந்திரவெளியைத் தண்ணீர் குளமாகவும், வறண்ட நிலத்தை நீரூற்றுகளாகவும் மாற்றி,He turns a desert into pools of water and a dry land into flowing springs.

36பசித்தவர்களை அங்கே குடியேற்றுகிறார்; அங்கே அவர்கள் குடியிருக்கும் நகரத்தைக் கட்டி,He causes the hungry to settle there, that they may establish a city in which to dwell.

37வயல்களை உண்டாக்கி விதைத்து, திராட்சைத்தோட்டங்களை நாட்டுகிறார்கள், அவைகள் வரத்துள்ள பலனைத் தரும்.They sow fields and plant vineyards that yield a fruitful harvest.

38அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறார், மிகுதியும் பெருகுகிறார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய மிருகங்கள் குறையாமலிருக்கச்செய்கிறார்.He blesses them, and they multiply greatly; He does not let their herds diminish.

39பின்பு அவர்கள் இடுக்கத்தினாலும், ஆபத்தினாலும், துயரத்தினாலும் குறைவுபட்டுத் தாழ்வடைகிறார்கள்.When they are decreased and humbled by oppression, evil, and sorrow,

40அவர் தலைவர்கள்மேல் இகழ்ச்சிவரச்செய்து, வழியில்லாத வனாந்திர வெளியிலே அவர்களைத் திரியச்செய்து,He pours out contempt on the nobles and makes them wander in a trackless wasteland.

41எளியவனையோ சிறுமையிலிருந்து எடுத்து, உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலத்திலே வைத்து, அவனுடைய வம்சங்களை மந்தையைப்போலாக்குகிறார்.But He lifts the needy from affliction and increases their families like flocks.

42உத்தமர்கள் அதைக்கண்டு மகிழுவார்கள்; நியாயக்கேடெல்லாம் தன்னுடைய வாயை மூடும்.The upright see and rejoice, and all iniquity shuts its mouth.

43எவன் ஞானமுள்ளவனோ அவன் இவைகளைக் கவனிக்கட்டும்; ஞானவான்கள் கர்த்தருடைய கிருபைகளை உணர்ந்துகொள்வார்கள்.Let him who is wise pay heed to these things and consider the loving devotion of the LORD.
