Psalm 37 (ULB) · Opened

1பொல்லாதவர்களைக்குறித்து எரிச்சலடையாதே; நியாயக்கேடு செய்கிறவர்கள்மேல் பொறாமை கொள்ளாதே.Of David. Do not fret over those who do evil; do not envy those who do wrong.

2அவர்கள் புல்லைப்போல் சீக்கிரமாய் அறுக்கப்பட்டு, பச்சைத்தாவரத்தைப்போல் வாடிப்போவார்கள்.For they wither quickly like grass and wilt like tender plants.

3கர்த்தரை நம்பி நன்மைசெய்; தேசத்தில் குடியிருந்து சத்தியத்தை மேய்ந்துகொள்.Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.

4கர்த்தரிடத்தில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிரு; அவர் உன் இருதயத்தின் வேண்டுதல்களை உனக்கு அருள்செய்வார்.Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

5உன் வழியைக் கர்த்தருக்கு ஒப்புவித்து, அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிரு; அவரே காரியத்தை வாய்க்கச்செய்வார்.Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will do it.

6உன் நீதியை வெளிச்சத்தைப் போலவும், உன் நியாயத்தைப் பட்டப்பகலைப்போலவும் விளங்கச்செய்வார்.He will bring forth your righteousness like the dawn, your justice like the noonday sun.

7கர்த்தரை நோக்கி அமர்ந்து, அவருக்குக் காத்திரு; காரியசித்தியுள்ளவன் மேலும் தீவினைகளைச் செய்கிற மனிதன் மேலும் எரிச்சலாகாதே.Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when men prosper in their ways, when they carry out wicked schemes.

8கோபத்தை தள்ளி, கடுங்கோபத்தை விட்டுவிடு; பொல்லாப்புச் செய்ய ஏதுவான எரிச்சல் உனக்கு வேண்டாம்.Refrain from anger and abandon wrath; do not fret—it can only bring harm.

9பொல்லாதவர்கள் அறுக்கப்பட்டுபோவார்கள்; கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களோ பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக் கொள்வார்கள்.For the evildoers will be cut off, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.

10இன்னும் கொஞ்சநேரந்தான், அப்போது துன்மார்க்கன் இருக்கமாட்டான்; அவன் நிலையை உற்று விசாரித்தாயானால் அவன் இல்லை.Yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found.

11சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்கள் பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்து, மிகுந்த சமாதானத்தினால் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிருப்பார்கள்.But the meek will inherit the land and delight in abundant prosperity.

12துன்மார்க்கன் நீதிமானுக்கு விரோதமாகத் தீங்கு நினைத்து, அவன்மேல் பல்லைக் கடிக்கிறான்.The wicked scheme against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them,

13ஆண்டவர் அவனைப் பார்த்து நகைக்கிறார்; அவனுடைய நாள் வருகிறதென்று காண்கிறார்.but the Lord laughs, seeing that their day is coming.

14சிறுமையும் எளிமையுமானவனை வீழ்த்தவும், செம்மை மார்க்கத்தாரை விழசெய்யவும், துன்மார்க்கர்கள் வாளை உருவி, தங்கள் வில்லை நாணேற்றுகிறார்கள்.The wicked have drawn the sword and bent the bow to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose ways are upright.

15ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் வாள் அவர்களுடைய இருதயத்திற்குள் உருவிப்போகும்; அவர்கள் வில்லுகள் முறியும்.But their swords will pierce their own hearts, and their bows will be broken.

16அநேக துன்மார்க்கர்களுக்கு இருக்கிற திரளான செல்வத்தைவிட, நீதிமானுக்குள்ள கொஞ்சமே நல்லது.Better is the little of the righteous than the abundance of many who are wicked.

17துன்மார்க்கருடைய கரங்கள் முறியும்; நீதிமான்களையோ கர்த்தர் தாங்குகிறார்.For the arms of the wicked will be broken, but the LORD upholds the righteous.

18உத்தமர்களின் நாட்களைக் கர்த்தர் அறிந்திருக்கிறார்; அவர்கள் சுதந்தரம் என்றென்றைக்கும் இருக்கும்.The LORD knows the days of the blameless, and their inheritance will last forever.

19அவர்கள் ஆபத்துக்காலத்திலே வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாதிருந்து, பஞ்சகாலத்திலே திருப்தியடைவார்கள்.In the time of evil they will not be ashamed, and in the days of famine they will be satisfied.

20துன்மார்க்கர்களோ அழிந்துபோவார்கள், கர்த்தருடைய எதிரிகள் ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளின் கொழுப்பைப்போல புகைந்து போவார்கள், அவர்கள் புகையாய்ப் புகைந்து போவார்கள்.But the wicked and enemies of the LORD will perish like the glory of the fields. They will vanish; like smoke they will fade away.

21துன்மார்க்கன் கடன் வாங்கிச் செலுத்தாமற் போகிறான்; நீதிமானோ இரங்கிக்கொடுக்கிறான்.The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous are gracious and giving.

22அவரால் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளுவார்கள்; அவரால் சபிக்கப்பட்டவர்களோ அறுக்கப்பட்டுபோவார்கள்.Surely those He blesses will inherit the land, but the cursed will be destroyed.

23நல்ல மனிதனுடைய நடைகள் கர்த்தரால் உறுதிப்படும், அவனுடைய வழியின்மேல் அவர் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறார்.The steps of a man are ordered by the LORD who takes delight in his journey.

24அவன் விழுந்தாலும் தள்ளப்பட்டு போவதில்லை; கர்த்தர் தமது கையினால் அவனைத் தாங்குகிறார்.Though he falls, he will not be overwhelmed, for the LORD is holding his hand.

25நான் இளைஞனாயிருந்தேன், முதிர்வயதுள்ளவனுமானேன்; ஆனாலும் நீதிமான் கைவிடப்பட்டதையும், அவன் சந்ததி அப்பத்திற்கு பிச்சை எடுக்கிறதையும் நான் காணவில்லை.I once was young and now am old, yet never have I seen the righteous abandoned or their children begging for bread.

26அவன் எப்பொழுதும் இரங்கிக் கடன் கொடுக்கிறான், அவன் சந்ததி ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படும்.They are ever generous and quick to lend, and their children are a blessing.

27தீமையை விட்டு விலகி, நன்மை செய்; என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருப்பாய்.Turn away from evil and do good, so that you will abide forever.

28கர்த்தர் நியாயத்தை விரும்புகிறவர்; அவர் தமது பரிசுத்தவான்களைக் கைவிடுவதில்லை; அவர்கள் என்றைக்கும் காக்கப்படுவார்கள்; துன்மார்க்கர்களுடைய சந்ததியோ அறுக்கப்பட்டுபோகும்.For the LORD loves justice and will not forsake His saints. They are preserved forever, but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off.

29நீதிமான்கள் பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டு, என்றைக்கும் அதிலே குடியிருப்பார்கள்.The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.

30நீதிமானுடைய வாய் ஞானத்தை சொல்லி, அவனுடைய நாவு நியாயத்தைப் பேசும்.The mouth of the righteous man utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice.

31அவனுடைய தேவன் அருளிய வேதம் அவன் இருதயத்தில் இருக்கிறது; அவன் நடைகளில் ஒன்றும் பிசகுவதில்லை.The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not falter.

32துன்மார்க்கன் நீதிமான்மேல் கண்வைத்து, அவனைக் கொல்ல வகைதேடுகிறான்.Though the wicked lie in wait for the righteous, and seek to slay them,

33கர்த்தரோ அவனை இவன் கையில் விடுவதில்லை; அவன் நியாயம் விசாரிக்கப்படும்போது, அவனை தண்டனைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்ப்பதுமில்லை.the LORD will not leave them in their power or let them be condemned under judgment.

34நீ கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருந்து, அவருடைய வழியைக் கைக்கொள்; அப்பொழுது நீ பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வதற்கு அவர் உன்னை உயர்த்துவார்; துன்மார்க்கர்கள் அறுக்கப்பட்டுபோவதை நீ காண்பாய்.Wait for the LORD and keep His way, and He will raise you up to inherit the land. When the wicked are cut off, you will see it.

35கொடிய பலவந்தனான ஒரு துன்மார்க்கனைக் கண்டேன் அவன் தனக்கேற்ற நிலத்தில் முளைத்திருக்கிற பச்சைமரத்தைப்போல் தழைத்தவனாயிருந்தான்.I have seen a wicked, ruthless man flourishing like a well-rooted native tree,

36ஆனாலும் அவன் ஒழிந்துபோனான்; பாருங்கள், அவன் இல்லை; அவனைத் தேடினேன், அவன் காணப்படவில்லை.yet he passed away and was no more; though I searched, he could not be found.

37நீ உத்தமனை நோக்கி, செம்மையானவனைப் பார்த்திரு; அந்த மனிதனுடைய முடிவு சமாதானம்.Consider the blameless and observe the upright, for posterity awaits the man of peace.

38அக்கிரமக்காரர் ஒன்றாக அழிக்கப்படுவார்கள்; அறுக்கப்பட்டுபோவதே துன்மார்க்கர்களின் முடிவு.But the transgressors will all be destroyed; the future of the wicked will be cut off.

39நீதிமான்களுடைய இரட்சிப்பு கர்த்தரால் வரும்; இக்கட்டுக்காலத்தில் அவரே அவர்கள் அடைக்கலம்.The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their stronghold in time of trouble.

40கர்த்தர் அவர்களுக்கு உதவிசெய்து, அவர்களை விடுவிப்பார்; அவர்கள் அவரை நம்பியிருக்கிறபடியால், அவர்களைத் துன்மார்க்கர்களுடைய கைக்குத் தப்புவித்து காப்பாற்றுவார்.The LORD helps and delivers them; He rescues and saves them from the wicked, because they take refuge in Him.
