Genesis 9 (TELOTSA)

1అప్పుడు దేవుడు నోవహును అతని కుమారులను ఆశీర్వదిస్తూ, “మీరు ఫలించి అభివృద్ధి పొంది భూలోకాన్ని నింపండి.And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.

2భూలోకంలో ఉన్న అన్ని రకాల జంతువులు, ఆకాశంలోని అన్ని రకాల పక్షులు, నేల మీద తిరిగే ప్రతీ జీవి, సముద్రంలో ఉన్న అన్ని చేపలు మీకు భయపడతాయి భీతి చెందుతాయి; అవి మీ చేతికి అప్పగించబడ్డాయి.The fear and dread of you will fall on every living creature on the earth, every bird of the air, every creature that crawls on the ground, and all the fish of the sea. They are delivered into your hand.

3జీవిస్తూ తిరిగే ప్రతిదీ మీకు ఆహారం అవుతుంది. పచ్చని మొక్కలను నేను మీకు ఇచ్చినట్టుగా ఇప్పుడు అన్నిటిని మీకు ఇస్తున్నాను.Everything that lives and moves will be food for you; just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you all things.

4“అయితే మాంసంలో ప్రాణాధారమైన రక్తం ఉంటే మీరు తినకూడదు.But you must not eat meat with its lifeblood still in it.

5ఎవరైనా ఇంకొకరి ప్రాణం తీస్తే నేను వారి రక్తం గురించి లెక్క అడుగుతాను. అడవి జంతువు ఒక మనుష్యుని చంపితే, అది చంపబడాలి. ఎవరైనా తోటి మనుష్యుల ప్రాణం తీస్తే దాని గురించి నేను లెక్క అడుగుతాను.And surely I will require the life of any man or beast by whose hand your lifeblood is shed. I will demand an accounting from anyone who takes the life of his fellow man:

6“ఎవరైనా మనుష్యుని రక్తం చిందిస్తే, మనుష్యులచే వారి రక్తం చిందించబడాలి; ఎందుకంటే దేవుడు తన స్వరూపంలో మనుష్యుని సృజించారు.Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man his blood will be shed; for in His own image God has made mankind.

7మీరైతే, ఫలించి, అభివృద్ధిచెంది; భూమిపై విస్తరించండి” అని చెప్పారు.But as for you, be fruitful and multiply; spread out across the earth and multiply upon it.”

8దేవుడు నోవహుతో అతని కుమారులతో ఇలా అన్నారు:Then God said to Noah and his sons with him,

9“నేను మీతో మీ రాబోయే తరం వారితో నా నిబంధన స్థిరపరస్తున్నాను,“Behold, I now establish My covenant with you and your descendants after you,

10మీతో పాటు ఉన్న ప్రతి జీవితో అనగా పక్షులతో, పశువులతో, సమస్త అడవి జంతువులతో, ఓడలో నుండి మీతో పాటు బయటకు వచ్చిన జీవులన్నిటితో, భూమిపై ఉన్న ప్రతి జీవితోను నా నిబంధన స్థిరపరస్తున్నాను.and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock, and every beast of the earth—every living thing that came out of the ark.

11నేను నీతో చేసిన నిబంధనను ధృవీకరిస్తున్నాను: ఇక ఎన్నడు వరద నీటితో సమస్త ప్రాణులు నాశనం కావు; భూమిని నాశనం చేసే జలప్రళయం ఇక ఎన్నడు రాదు.”And I establish My covenant with you: Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.”

12దేవుడు ఇలా అన్నారు, “నాకును మీకును, మీతో ఉన్న ప్రతి ప్రాణికిని మధ్య తరాలన్నిటి కోసం నేను చేస్తున్న నిబంధనకు గుర్తు ఇదే:And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between Me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come:

13నేను మేఘాలలో నా ధనుస్సును పెట్టాను, అది నాకూ భూమికి మధ్య నిబంధన గుర్తుగా ఉంటుంది.I have set My rainbow in the clouds, and it will be a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.

14నేను భూమిపై మేఘాలను తీసుకువచ్చినప్పుడు ఈ ధనుస్సు మేఘాలలో కనిపిస్తుంది,Whenever I form clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds,

15అప్పుడు నేను నాకును మీకును, ప్రతి రకమైన ప్రాణులకు మధ్య ఉన్న నా నిబంధనను జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకుంటాను. ఇక ఎన్నడు కూడా సమస్త జీవులన్నిటిని నాశనం చేయడానికి నీరు వరదలా మారదు.I will remember My covenant between Me and you and every living creature of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.

16మేఘాలలో ధనస్సు కనిపించినప్పుడు, నేను దానిని చూసి దేవునికి, భూమిపై ఉన్న సమస్త ప్రాణులకు మధ్య నేను చేసిన నిత్యనిబంధనను జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకుంటాను.”And whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of every kind that is on the earth.”

17ఇంకా దేవుడు నోవహుతో, “ఇది నాకూ భూమిపై ఉన్న సమస్త జీవులకు మధ్య ఉన్న నిబంధనకు గుర్తు” అని చెప్పారు.So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between Me and every creature on the earth.”

18ఓడలో నుండి వచ్చిన నోవహు కుమారులు షేము, హాము, యాపెతు. (హాము కనానీయులకు తండ్రి.)The sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And Ham was the father of Canaan.

19ఈ ముగ్గురు నోవహు కుమారులు, వీరి నుంచే భూలోకమంతా ప్రజలు విస్తరించారు.These three were the sons of Noah, and from them the whole earth was populated.

20వ్యవసాయకుడైన నోవహు ద్రాక్షతోట నాటడం ఆరంభించాడు.Now Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded to plant a vineyard.

21అతడు కొంత మద్యం త్రాగి మత్తులో తన గుడారంలో బట్టలు లేకుండా పడి ఉన్నాడు.But when he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and uncovered himself inside his tent.

22కనాను తండ్రియైన హాము తన తండ్రి దిగంబరిగా ఉండడం చూసి బయట ఉన్న తన ఇద్దరు అన్నలకు చెప్పాడు.And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father’s nakedness and told his two brothers outside.

23అయితే షేము, యాపెతు ఒక వస్త్రం తీసుకుని తమ భుజాల మీద వేసుకుని వెనుకకు నడిచి వెళ్లి తమ తండ్రి నగ్న శరీరాన్ని కప్పారు. తండ్రి నగ్న శరీరం వైపు చూడకుండ వారు తమ ముఖాలను మరోవైపుకు తిప్పుకున్నారు.Then Shem and Japheth took a garment and placed it across their shoulders, and walking backward, they covered their father’s nakedness. Their faces were turned away so that they did not see their father’s nakedness.

24నోవహుకు మత్తు వదిలిన తర్వాత చిన్నకుమారుడు తనకు చేసింది తెలుసుకుని,When Noah awoke from his drunkenness and learned what his youngest son had done to him,

25ఇలా అన్నాడు, “కనాను శపించబడాలి! అతడు తన సహోదరులకు దాసులలో అత్యల్పునిగా ఉంటాడు.”he said, “Cursed be Canaan! A servant of servants shall he be to his brothers.”

26ఇంకా అతడు, “షేము దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు స్తుతి! కనాను అతనికి దాసుడవాలి.He also declared: “Blessed be the LORD, the God of Shem! May Canaan be the servant of Shem.

27దేవుడు యాపెతు సరిహద్దును విస్తరింపజేయాలి; యాపెతు షేము గుడారాల్లో నివసించాలి, కనాను యాపెతుకు దాసుడవాలి” అని అన్నాడు.May God expand the territory of Japheth; may he dwell in the tents of Shem, and may Canaan be his servant.”

28జలప్రళయం తర్వాత నోవహు ఇంకా 350 సంవత్సరాలు జీవించాడు.After the flood, Noah lived 350 years.

29నోవహు మొత్తం 950 సంవత్సరాలు జీవించి, ఆ తర్వాత మరణించాడు.So Noah lived a total of 950 years, and then he died.
