9 ULB వారిలో చాలామంది ప్రభువును వ్యతిరేకించి పాము కాటుకు లోనై చనిపోయినట్టు మనమూ చేసి ప్రభువును పరీక్షించవద్దు. BSB BSB: We should not test Christ, as some of them did, and were killed by snakes.
10 ULB అలాగే మీరు సణుక్కోవద్దు. వారిలో చాలామంది దేవునిపై సణిగి సంహార దూత చేతిలో మరణించారు. BSB BSB: And do not complain, as some of them did, and were killed by the destroying angel.
11 ULB ఈ సంగతులు వారికి జరిగినది మనకు ఉదాహరణలుగా ఉండడానికే. వాటిని చూసి ఈ చివరి రోజుల్లో మనం బుద్ధి తెచ్చుకోడానికి అవి రాసి ఉన్నాయి. BSB BSB: Now these things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come.

17 ULB మనమంతా ఒకే రొట్టెలో భాగం పంచుకొంటున్నాం. రొట్టె ఒక్కటే కాబట్టి దాన్ని తీసుకొనే మనం అనేకులమైనప్పటికీ ఒక్కటే శరీరం అయ్యాం. BSB BSB: Because there is one loaf, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf.
18 ULB ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను చూడండి. బలిపీఠం మీద అర్పించిన వాటిని తినేవారు బలిపీఠంలో పాలిభాగస్తులే కదా? BSB BSB: Consider the people of Israel: Are not those who eat the sacrifices fellow partakers in the altar?

22 ULB ప్రభువుకు రోషం కలిగిస్తామా? మనం ఆయనకంటే బలవంతులమా? BSB BSB: Are we trying to provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than He?
23 ULB అన్నీ చట్టబద్దమైనవే కానీ అన్నీ ప్రయోజనకరమైనవి కావు. అన్నిటిలో నాకు స్వేచ్ఛ ఉంది గాని అన్నీ మనుషులకు వృద్ధి కలిగించవు. BSB BSB: “Everything is permissible,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible,” but not everything is edifying.
24 ULB ప్రతి ఒక్కడూ తన సొంత క్షేమం కాక ఇతరుల క్షేమం కోసం చూడాలి. BSB BSB: No one should seek his own good, but the good of others.
