1 ULB హన్నా ప్రార్థన చేస్తూ ఇలా అంది, <<నా హృదయం యెహోవాలో సంతోషిస్తూ ఉంది. యెహోవాలో నాకు ఎంతో బలం కలిగింది. నీ ద్వారా కలిగిన రక్షణను బట్టి సంతోషిస్తున్నాను. నా విరోధుల మీద నేను అతిశయపడతాను. BSB BSB: At that time Hannah prayed: “My heart rejoices in the LORD; my horn is exalted in the LORD. My mouth speaks boldly against my enemies, for I rejoice in Your salvation.

3 ULB యెహోవా దేవుని జ్ఞానం అనంతమైంది. మన కార్యాలను పరిశీలించేవాడు ఆయనే. కాబట్టి ఇకపై ఎవరూ గర్వంగా మాట్లాడవద్దు. అహంకారమైన మాటలు మీ నోట నుంచి రానియ్యవద్దు. BSB BSB: Do not boast so proudly, or let arrogance come from your mouth, for the LORD is a God who knows, and by Him actions are weighed.

BSB BSB: The well-fed hire themselves out for food, but the starving hunger no more. The barren woman gives birth to seven, but she who has many sons pines away.
6 ULB మనుషులను సజీవులుగానూ, మృతులుగానూ చేసేవాడు యెహోవాయే. పాతాళానికి పంపిస్తూ అక్కడినుండి రప్పించే వాడూ ఆయనే. BSB BSB: The LORD brings death and gives life; He brings down to Sheol and raises up.
7 ULB యెహోవా దరిద్రతను, ఐశ్వర్యాన్ని కలుగ జేసేవాడు. కుంగిపోయేలా చేసేవాడూ, లేవనెత్తేవాడూ ఆయనే. BSB BSB: The LORD sends poverty and wealth; He humbles and He exalts.
8 ULB దరిద్రులను అధికారులతో కలసి కూర్చోబెట్టేవాడూ, మహిమగల సింహాసనంపై కూర్చునేలా చేసేవాడూ వారిని మట్టిలోనుండి పైకి ఎత్తే వాడు ఆయనే. పేదవారిని పెంటకుప్పపై నుండి పైకి లేపేవాడు ఆయనే. భూమి ఆధార స్తంభాలు యెహోవా ఆధీనంలో ఉన్నాయి. ఆయన లోకాన్ని వాటిపై నిలిపి ఉంచాడు. BSB BSB: He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap. He seats them among princes and bestows on them a throne of honor. For the foundations of the earth are the LORD’s, and upon them He has set the world.

He will thunder from heaven against them. The LORD will judge the ends of the earth and will give power to His king. He will exalt the horn of His anointed.”

This is how they treated all the Israelites who came to Shiloh.

BSB BSB: And if any man said to him, “The fat must be burned first; then you may take whatever you want,” the servant would reply, “No, you must give it to me right now. If you refuse, I will take it by force!”
17 ULB అందువల్ల ప్రజలు యెహోవాకు నైవేద్యం అర్పించడం మానివేసి దాని విషయం అసహ్యపడడానికి ఆ యువకులు కారణమయ్యారు. కాబట్టి వారు చేస్తున్న పాపం యెహోవా దృష్టికి మితి మీరింది. BSB BSB: Thus the sin of these young men was severe in the sight of the LORD, for they were treating the LORD’s offering with contempt.

BSB BSB: And Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife, saying, “May the LORD give you children by this woman in place of the one she dedicated to the LORD.” Then they would go home.

25 ULB మనిషి పట్ల మనిషి తప్పు చేస్తే న్యాయాధిపతి శిక్షిస్తాడు. అయితే ఎవరైనా యెహోవా విషయంలో పాపం చేస్తే అతని కోసం ఎవడు వేడుకుంటాడు?>> అయితే యెహోవా వారిని చంపాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నాడు కాబట్టి వారు తమ తండ్రి చెప్పిన మాటలు వినలేదు. BSB BSB: If a man sins against another man, God can intercede for him; but if a man sins against the LORD, who can intercede for him?” But they would not listen to their father, since the LORD intended to put them to death.
26 ULB బాల సమూయేలు యెహోవాకూ, మనుష్యులకూ ఇష్టమైనవాడుగా పెరుగుతూ ఉన్నాడు. BSB BSB: And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the LORD and with man.
27 ULB ఆ సమయంలో దేవుని మనిషి ఒకడు ఏలీ దగ్గరకి వచ్చి ఇలా చెప్పాడు. <<యెహోవా నిన్ను గూర్చి చెబుతున్నది ఏమిటంటే, <నీ పూర్వికులు ఐగుప్తు దేశంలో ఫరో కింద బానిసత్వంలో ఉన్నప్పుడు నేను వారికి ప్రత్యక్షమయ్యాను. BSB BSB: Then a man of God came to Eli and told him, “This is what the LORD says: ‘Did I not clearly reveal Myself to your father’s house when they were in Egypt under Pharaoh’s house?

I also gave to the house of your father all the food offerings of the Israelites.
29 ULB నా సన్నిధి ఉండే స్థలానికి నేను నిర్ణయించిన బలి నైవేద్యాలను మీరు ఎందుకు తిరస్కరిస్తున్నారు? మిమ్మల్ని మీరు కొవ్వబెట్టుకోడానికి నా ప్రజలైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు చేసే నైవేద్యాల్లో శ్రేష్ఠమైన భాగాలను మీరే ఉంచుకొంటూ నాకంటే నీ కొడుకులను నీవు గొప్ప చేస్తున్నావు. BSB BSB: Why then do you kick at My sacrifice and offering that I have prescribed for My dwelling place? You have honored your sons more than Me by fattening yourselves with the best of all the offerings of My people Israel.’
30 ULB నీ ఇంటివారు, నీ పూర్వికుని ఇంటివారు నా సన్నిధిలో యాజకత్వం జరిగిస్తారని నేను వాగ్దానం చేశాను. కానీ ఇప్పుడు అలా కొనసాగించడం నాకు దూరం అగు గాక.> అని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా సెలవిస్తున్నాడు. కాబట్టి యెహోవా మాట ఏమిటంటే, <నన్ను గొప్ప చేసేవారిని నేను గొప్పచేస్తాను. నన్ను తిరస్కరించేవారిని తోసిపుచ్చుతాను.> BSB BSB: Therefore, the LORD, the God of Israel, declares: ‘I did indeed say that your house and the house of your father would walk before Me forever. But now the LORD declares: Far be it from Me! For I will honor those who honor Me, but those who despise Me will be disdained.
31 ULB జాగ్రత్తగా వినండి, రాబోయే రోజుల్లో నీ బలాన్ని, నీ ఇంటి వంశం బలాన్ని నేను తగ్గిస్తాను. నీ ఇంటి మొత్తంలో ముసలివాడు ఒకడు కూడా ఉండడు. BSB BSB: Behold, the days are coming when I will cut off your strength and the strength of your father’s house, so that no one in it will reach old age.
32 ULB నా సన్నిధి స్థలానికి అపాయం సంభవించడం నువ్వు చూస్తావు. యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల కోసం చేయాలనుకొన్న మేలు జరిగిస్తాడు గానీ నీ ఇంట్లో మాత్రం వృద్ధుడు ఎవడూ ఉండడు, BSB BSB: You will see distress in My dwelling place. Despite all that is good in Israel, no one in your house will ever again reach old age.
33 ULB నా బలిపీఠం దగ్గర ఎవరూ లేకుండా నేను అందరినీ నాశనం చేయకుండా విడిచిపెట్టేవాడిని కాదు. కాబట్టి అది నీ కళ్ళు మసకబారడానికి, నువ్వు దుఃఖంతో క్షీణించిపోడానికి కారణమౌతుంది. నీ సంతానమంతా ముసలివాళ్ళు కాకముందే చనిపోతారు. BSB BSB: And every one of you that I do not cut off from My altar, I will cause your eyes to fail and your heart to grieve. All your descendants will die by the sword of men.
34 ULB నీ ఇద్దరు కొడుకులైన హొఫ్నీకీ, ఫీనెహాసుకూ ఇలా జరుగుతుందని నేను చెప్పిన దానికి నీకు ఒక సూచన, ఒక్కరోజే వారిద్దరూ చనిపోతారు. BSB BSB: And this sign shall come to you concerning your two sons Hophni and Phinehas: They will both die on the same day.

BSB BSB: Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest. He will do whatever is in My heart and mind. And I will build for him an enduring house, and he will walk before My anointed one for all time.
