2 ULB నా న్యాయాన్ని తీసివేసిన దేవుని జీవం తోడు. నా ప్రాణాన్ని వ్యాకుల పరచిన సర్వశక్తుని తోడు. BSB BSB: “As surely as God lives, who has deprived me of justice—the Almighty, who has embittered my soul—
3 ULB నా ప్రాణం నాలో ఉన్నంత కాలం, దేవుని ఊపిరి నా నాసికా రంధ్రాల్లో ఉన్నంత వరకు, BSB BSB: as long as my breath is still within me and the breath of God remains in my nostrils,
4 ULB నిశ్చయంగా నా పెదవులు అబద్ధం పలకవు. నా నాలుక మోసం ఉచ్ఛరించదు. BSB BSB: my lips will not speak wickedness, and my tongue will not utter deceit.

8 ULB దేవుడు అతణ్ణి కొట్టివేసేటప్పుడు, వాడి ప్రాణం తీసేసేటప్పుడు భక్తిహీనుడికి ఆధారమేది? BSB BSB: For what is the hope of the godless when he is cut off, when God takes away his life?
9 ULB వాడికి బాధ కలిగేటప్పుడు దేవుడు వాడి మొర్ర వింటాడా? BSB BSB: Will God hear his cry when distress comes upon him?
10 ULB వాడు సర్వశక్తుడిలో ఆనందిస్తాడా? వాడు అన్ని సమయాల్లో దేవునికి ప్రార్థన చేస్తాడా? BSB BSB: Will he delight in the Almighty? Will he call upon God at all times?
11 ULB దేవుని హస్తాన్ని గూర్చి నేను మీకు ఉపదేశిస్తాను. సర్వశక్తుడు చేసే క్రియలను నేను దాచిపెట్టను. BSB BSB: I will instruct you in the power of God. I will not conceal the ways of the Almighty.
12 ULB మీలో ప్రతివాడూ దాన్ని చూశాడు. మీరెందుకు కేవలం వ్యర్థమైన వాటిని తలపోస్తూ ఉంటారు? BSB BSB: Surely all of you have seen it for yourselves. Why then do you keep up this empty talk?
13 ULB దేవుని వలన భక్తిహీనులకు దక్కే భాగం ఇదే. బాధించేవారు సర్వశక్తుని వలన పొందే ఆస్తి ఇదే. BSB BSB: This is the wicked man’s portion from God—the heritage the ruthless receive from the Almighty.
14 ULB వారి పిల్లలు సంఖ్యలో విస్తరిస్తే అది కత్తివాత కూలడానికే గదా. వారి సంతానానికి చాలినంత ఆహారం దొరకదు. BSB BSB: Though his sons are many, they are destined for the sword; and his offspring will never have enough food.
15 ULB వారికి మిగిలిన వారు తెగులు మూలంగా చచ్చి సమాధి అవుతారు. వారి వితంతువులు వారి విషయం రోదనం చెయ్యరు. BSB BSB: His survivors will be buried by the plague, and their widows will not weep for them.
16 ULB ధూళి అంత విస్తారంగా వారు వెండిని పోగు చేసినా బంక మట్టి అంత విస్తారంగా వస్త్రాలు సిద్ధం చేసుకున్నా, BSB BSB: Though he heaps up silver like dust and piles up a wardrobe like clay,
17 ULB వారు అలా సిద్ధపరచుకుంటారే గానీ నీతిమంతులు వాటిని కట్టుకుంటారు. నిరపరాధులు ఆ వెండిని పంచుకుంటారు. BSB BSB: what he lays up, the righteous will wear, and his silver will be divided by the innocent.
18 ULB వారు పురుగుల గూళ్లవంటి ఇళ్ళు కట్టుకుంటారు కావలివాడు కట్టుకునే గుడిసె లాంటి ఇళ్ళు వారు కట్టుకుంటారు. BSB BSB: The house he built is like a moth’s cocoon, like a hut set up by a watchman.
19 ULB అతడు ధనికుడుగా పడుకుంటాడు గానీ అది కొనసాగదు. అతడు కళ్ళు తెరవగానే మొత్తం పోతుంది. BSB BSB: He lies down wealthy, but will do so no more; when he opens his eyes, all is gone.
20 ULB భయాలు జలప్రవాహంలాగా వారిని తరిమి పట్టుకుంటాయి. రాత్రివేళ తుఫాను వారిని ఎత్తుకుపోతుంది. BSB BSB: Terrors overtake him like a flood; a tempest sweeps him away in the night.

23 ULB అది వాణ్ణి చూసి హేళనగా చప్పట్లు కొడుతుంది. వాడున్న చోటు నుండి వాణ్ణి ఈసడింపుగా తోలివేస్తుంది. BSB BSB: It claps its hands at him and hisses him out of his place.
