3 ULB మనిషి ఆయనతో వివాదం పెట్టుకుంటే ఆయన అడిగే వెయ్యి ప్రశ్నల్లో ఒక్కదానికైనా జవాబు చెప్పలేడు. BSB BSB: If one wished to contend with God, he could not answer Him one time out of a thousand.
4 ULB ఆయన అత్యంత వివేకం, బల ప్రభావాలు గలవాడు. ఆయనతో పోరాడాలని తెగించిన వాళ్ళు తప్పక కీడు పాలవుతారు. BSB BSB: God is wise in heart and mighty in strength. Who has resisted Him and prospered?
5 ULB పర్వతాలను వాటికి తెలియకుండానే ఆయన తొలగిస్తాడు. కోపంతో వాటిని బోర్లాపడేలా చేస్తాడు. BSB BSB: He moves mountains without their knowledge and overturns them in His anger.
6 ULB భూమిని కూడా అది ఉన్న స్థలం నుండి కదిలించివేస్తాడు. భూమి పునాదులు ఊగిపోయేలా చేస్తాడు. BSB BSB: He shakes the earth from its place, so that its foundations tremble.
7 ULB ఆయన సూర్యుడికి ఉదయించవద్దని ఆజ్ఞాపిస్తే సూర్యుడు ఉదయించడు. ఆయన నక్షత్రాలను కనబడకుండా దాచివేస్తాడు. BSB BSB: He commands the sun not to shine; He seals off the stars.

9 ULB స్వాతి, మృగశీర్షం, కృత్తిక అనే నక్షత్రాలను, దక్షిణ నక్షత్రాల రాశిని ఆయనే కలగజేశాడు. BSB BSB: He is the Maker of the Bear and Orion, of the Pleiades and the constellations of the south.
10 ULB ఎవరికీ అంతు చిక్కని మహిమ గల కార్యాలు, లెక్కలేనన్ని అద్భుత క్రియలు ఆయన చేస్తున్నాడు. BSB BSB: He does great things beyond searching out, and wonders without number.
11 ULB ఇదిగో, ఆయన నా సమీపంలో ఉంటున్నాడు, కానీ నేను ఆయనను గుర్తించలేదు. నా పక్కనుండి నడుస్తూ వెళ్తున్నాడు కానీ ఆయన నాకు కనబడడు. BSB BSB: Were He to pass by me, I would not see Him; were He to move, I would not recognize Him.

13 ULB దేవుని కోపం చల్లారదు. రాహాబుకు సహాయం చేసిన వాళ్ళు ఆయనకు లొంగిపోయారు. BSB BSB: God does not restrain His anger; the helpers of Rahab cower beneath Him.
14 ULB కాబట్టి ఆయనకు జవాబివ్వడానికి నేనేపాటి వాణ్ణి? సూటియైన మాటలు పలుకుతూ ఆయనతో వాదించడానికి నేనెంతటి వాణ్ణి? BSB BSB: How then can I answer Him or choose my arguments against Him?
15 ULB నేను న్యాయవంతుణ్ణి అయినా ఆయనకు జవాబు చెప్పలేను. నా న్యాయాధిపతిని కరుణించమని వేడుకోవడం మాత్రమే చేయగలను. BSB BSB: For even if I were right, I could not answer. I could only beg my Judge for mercy.
16 ULB నేను మొరపెట్టినప్పుడు ఆయన నాకు జవాబిచ్చినా ఆయన నా మాట వింటాడని నాకు నమ్మకం లేదు. BSB BSB: If I summoned Him and He answered me, I do not believe He would listen to my voice.
17 ULB ఆయన నా మొర వినకుండా నన్ను తుఫాను చేత నలగగొడుతున్నాడు. కారణం లేకుండా నా గాయాలను రేగగొడుతున్నాడు. BSB BSB: For He would crush me with a tempest and multiply my wounds without cause.
18 ULB ఆయన నన్ను ఊపిరి పీల్చుకోనివ్వడు. చేదు పదార్థాలు నాకు తినిపిస్తాడు. BSB BSB: He does not let me catch my breath, but overwhelms me with bitterness.
19 ULB బలవంతుల శక్తిని గూర్చి ప్రశ్న వస్తే <<నేనే ఉన్నాను>> అని ఆయన అంటాడు. న్యాయ నిర్ణయం గూర్చి వివాదం రేగినప్పుడు <<నాకు విరోధంగా వాదించేది ఎవరు?>> అని ఆయన అడుగుతాడు. BSB BSB: If it is a matter of strength, He is indeed mighty! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon Him?
20 ULB నేను చేసే వాదన న్యాయంగా ఉన్నప్పటికీ నా మాటలే నా మీద నేరం మోపుతాయి. నేను న్యాయవంతుడినైప్పటికీ దోషినని నా మాటలు రుజువు చేస్తాయి. BSB BSB: Even if I were righteous, my mouth would condemn me; if I were blameless, it would declare me guilty.
21 ULB నేను నిర్దోషిని అయినప్పటికీ నా మీద నాకు ఇష్టం పోయింది. నా ప్రాణం అంటే నాకు లెక్క లేదు. BSB BSB: Though I am blameless, I have no concern for myself; I despise my own life.
22 ULB తేడా ఏమీ లేదు. అందుకే అంటున్నాను, ఆయన నీతిమంతులు, దుర్మార్గులు అనే భేదం లేకుండా అందరినీ నాశనం చేస్తున్నాడు. BSB BSB: It is all the same, and so I say, ‘He destroys both the blameless and the wicked.’
23 ULB ఆకస్మాత్తుగా సమూల నాశనం సంభవిస్తే నిరపరాధులు పడే అవస్థను చూసి ఆయన నవ్వుతాడు. BSB BSB: When the scourge brings sudden death, He mocks the despair of the innocent.
24 ULB భూమి దుర్మార్గుల ఆధీనంలో ఉంది. ఆయన న్యాయాధిపతులకు మంచి చెడ్డల విచక్షణ లేకుండా చేస్తాడు. ఇవన్నీ చేయగలిగేది ఆయన గాక ఇంకెవరు? BSB BSB: The earth is given into the hand of the wicked; He blindfolds its judges. If it is not He, then who is it?
25 ULB పరుగు తీసే వాడి కంటే వేగంగా, ఎలాంటి మంచీ లేకుండానే నా రోజులు గడిచిపోతున్నాయి. BSB BSB: My days are swifter than a runner; they flee without seeing good.
26 ULB రెల్లుతో కట్టిన పడవలు సాగిపోతున్నట్టు, గరుడపక్షి ఎరను చూసి హటాత్తుగా దానిపై వాలినట్టు నా రోజులు దొర్లిపోతున్నాయి. BSB BSB: They sweep by like boats of papyrus, like an eagle swooping down on its prey.
27 ULB నా బాధలు మరచిపోతాననీ, నా దుఃఖం పోయి సంతోషంగా ఉంటాననీ నేను అనుకున్నానా? BSB BSB: If I were to say, ‘I will forget my complaint and change my expression and smile,’
28 ULB నాకు వచ్చిన బాధలన్నిటిని బట్టి భయపడుతున్నాను. నువ్వు నన్ను నిర్దోషిగా ఎంచవన్న విషయం నాకు స్పష్టంగా తెలిసిపోయింది. BSB BSB: I would still dread all my sufferings; I know that You will not acquit me.
29 ULB నేను దోషిని అని నిర్ణయం అయిపొయింది గదా. ఇక నాకెందుకు ఈ వృథా ప్రయాస? BSB BSB: Since I am already found guilty, why should I labor in vain?
30 ULB నన్ను నేను మంచులాగా శుభ్రం చేసుకున్నా, సబ్బుతో నా చేతులు తోముకున్నా, BSB BSB: If I should wash myself with snow and cleanse my hands with lye,
31 ULB నువ్వు నన్ను గుంటలో పడేస్తావు. అప్పుడు నేను వేసుకున్న బట్టలే నన్ను అసహ్యించుకుంటాయి. BSB BSB: then You would plunge me into the pit, and even my own clothes would despise me.
32 ULB ఆయనకు జవాబు చెప్పడానికి దేవుడు నాలాగా మనిషి కాదు. ఆయనతో వాదించడానికి మేమిద్దరం కలసి న్యాయస్థానానికి వెళ్ళడం ఎలా? BSB BSB: For He is not a man like me, that I can answer Him, that we can take each other to court.
33 ULB మా ఇద్దరి మీద చెయ్యి ఉంచి తీర్పు చెప్పగలిగే వ్యక్తి మాకు లేడు. BSB BSB: Nor is there a mediator between us, to lay his hand upon us both.
34 ULB ఆయన శిక్షాదండం నా మీద నుండి తొలగించాలి. ఆయన భయంకర చర్యలు నాలో వణుకు పుట్టించకుండా ఉండాలి. BSB BSB: Let Him remove His rod from me, so that His terror will no longer frighten me.
35 ULB అప్పుడు నేను భయం లేకుండా ఆయనతో మాట్లాడతాను, అయితే ఇప్పుడున్న పరిస్థితిని బట్టి నేను అలా చెయ్యలేను. BSB BSB: Then I would speak without fear of Him. But as it is, I am on my own.
