16 ULB ఆయన శిష్యులు ఈ సంగతులు మొదట్లో గ్రహించలేదు గాని యేసు మహిమ పొందిన తరువాత, ఈ సంగతులు ఆయన గురించి రాసినవనీ, వారు ఆయనకు ఈ విధంగా చేశారనీ గుర్తు చేసుకున్నారు. BSB BSB: At first His disciples did not understand these things, but after Jesus was glorified they remembered what had been done to Him, and they realized that these very things had also been written about Him.

18 ULB ఆయన ఈ సూచక క్రియ చేశాడని విన్న కారణంగా జన సమూహం ఆయనను కలుసుకోడానికి వెళ్ళారు. BSB BSB: That is also why the crowd went out to meet Him, because they heard that He had performed this sign.

20 ULB ఆ పండగలో ఆరాధించడానికి వచ్చిన వారిలో కొంతమంది గ్రీకులు ఉన్నారు. BSB BSB: Now there were some Greeks among those who went up to worship at the feast.

24 ULB మీతో కచ్చితంగా చెబుతున్నాను, గోదుమ గింజ భూమిలో పడి చావకపోతే, అది ఒకటిగానే ఉండిపోతుంది. అది చస్తే అధికంగా ఫలం ఇస్తుంది. BSB BSB: Truly, truly, I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a seed. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.
26 ULB నాకు సేవ చేసేవాడు నా వెంట రావాలి. అప్పుడు నేను ఎక్కడ ఉన్నానో, నా సేవకుడూ అక్కడ ఉంటాడు. నాకు సేవ చేసేవాణ్ణి తండ్రి ఘనపరుస్తాడు. BSB BSB: If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, My servant will be as well. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.
27 ULB ఇప్పుడు నా ప్రాణం ఆందోళన చెందుతూ ఉంది. నేనేం చెప్పను? ‘తండ్రీ, ఈ గడియ నుంచి నన్ను తప్పించు’ అని చెప్పనా? కాని, దీని కోసమే నేను ఈ గడియకు చేరుకున్నాను. BSB BSB: Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? No, it is for this purpose that I have come to this hour.
28 ULB తండ్రీ, నీ పేరుకు మహిమ కలిగించుకో” అన్నాడు. అప్పుడు ఆకాశంలో నుంచి ఒక స్వరం వచ్చి ఇలా అంది, “నేను దానికి మహిమ కలిగించాను. మళ్ళీ మహిమ కలిగిస్తాను.” BSB BSB: Father, glorify Your name!” Then a voice came from heaven: “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.”

31 ULB ఇప్పుడు ఈ లోకానికి తీర్పు సమయం. ఇది ఈ లోకపాలకుణ్ణి తరిమివేసే సమయం. BSB BSB: Now judgment is upon this world; now the prince of this world will be cast out.
32 ULB నన్ను భూమిమీద నుంచి పైకి ఎత్తినప్పుడు, మనుషులందరినీ నా దగ్గరికి ఆకర్షించుకుంటాను.” BSB BSB: And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw everyone to Myself.”
33 ULB ఆయన ఎలాంటి మరణం పొందుతాడో, దానికి సూచనగా ఆయన ఈ మాట చెప్పాడు. BSB BSB: He said this to indicate the kind of death He was going to die.
34 ULB ఆ జనసమూహం ఆయనతో, “క్రీస్తు ఎల్లకాలం ఉంటాడని ధర్మశాస్త్రంలో ఉందని విన్నాం. ‘మనుష్య కుమారుణ్ణి పైకెత్తడం జరగాలి’ అని నువ్వెలా చెబుతావు? ఈ మనుష్య కుమారుడు ఎవరు?” అన్నారు. BSB BSB: The crowd replied, “We have heard from the Law that the Christ will remain forever. So how can You say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?”
35 ULB అప్పుడు యేసు వారితో, “వెలుగు మీ మధ్య ఉండేది ఇంకా కొంత కాలం మాత్రమే. చీకటి మిమ్మల్ని కమ్ముకోక ముందే, ఇంకా వెలుగు ఉండగానే, నడవండి. చీకట్లో నడిచే వాడికి, తాను ఎక్కడికి వెళ్తున్నాడో అతనికే తెలియదు. BSB BSB: Then Jesus told them, “For a little while longer, the Light will be among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.
36 ULB మీకు వెలుగుండగానే, ఆ వెలుగులో నమ్మకముంచి వెలుగు సంబంధులు కండి” అన్నాడు. యేసు ఈ సంగతులు చెప్పి, అక్కడ నుంచి వెళ్ళి వారికి కనబడకుండా రహస్యంగా ఉన్నాడు. BSB BSB: While you have the Light, believe in the Light, so that you may become sons of light.” After Jesus had spoken these things, He went away and was hidden from them.
37 ULB యేసు వారి ముందు ఎన్నో సూచక క్రియలు చేసినా, వారు ఆయనను నమ్మలేదు. BSB BSB: Although Jesus had performed so many signs in their presence, they still did not believe in Him.
38 ULB ప్రభూ, మా సమాచారం ఎవరు నమ్మారు? ప్రభువు హస్తం ఎవరికి వెల్లడయ్యింది?” అని ప్రవక్త యెషయా చెప్పిన మాట నెరవేరేలా ఇది జరిగింది. BSB BSB: This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet: “Lord, who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
39 ULB ఈ కారణంగా వారు నమ్మలేకపోయారు, ఎందుకంటే యెషయా మరొక చోట ఇలా అన్నాడు, BSB BSB: For this reason they were unable to believe. For again, Isaiah says:
40 ULB “ఆయన వారి కళ్ళకు గుడ్డితనం కలగజేశాడు. ఆయన వారి హృదయాలను కఠినం చేశాడు. అలా చెయ్యకపోతే వారు తమ కళ్ళతో చూసి, హృదయాలతో గ్రహించి, నా వైపు తిరిగేవారు. అప్పుడు నేను వారిని బాగు చేసేవాణ్ణి.” BSB BSB: “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so that they cannot see with their eyes, and understand with their hearts, and turn, and I would heal them.”
41 ULB యెషయా యేసు మహిమను చూశాడు కాబట్టి ఆయన గురించి ఈ మాటలు చెప్పాడు. BSB BSB: Isaiah said these things because he saw Jesus’ glory and spoke about Him.

BSB BSB: Nevertheless, many of the leaders believed in Him. But because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, for fear that they would be put out of the synagogue.
43 ULB వారు దేవుని నుంచి వచ్చే మెప్పుకంటే, మనుషుల నుంచి వచ్చే మెప్పునే ఇష్టపడ్డారు. BSB BSB: For they loved praise from men more than praise from God.
44 ULB అప్పుడు యేసు పెద్ద స్వరంతో, “నాలో నమ్మకం ఉంచినవాడు నాలో మాత్రమే కాక నన్ను పంపినవాడిలో కూడా నమ్మకం ఉంచుతాడు. BSB BSB: Then Jesus cried out, “Whoever believes in Me does not believe in Me alone, but in the One who sent Me.
45 ULB నన్ను చూసినవాడు నన్ను పంపినవాణ్ణి కూడా చూస్తున్నాడు. BSB BSB: And whoever sees Me sees the One who sent Me.
46 ULB నాలో నమ్మకం ఉంచేవాడు చీకట్లో ఉండిపోకూడదని, ఈ లోకంలోకి నేను వెలుగుగా వచ్చాను. BSB BSB: I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in Me should remain in darkness.
47 ULB ఎవరైనా నా మాటలు విని, వాటిని పాటించకపోతే నేను అతనికి తీర్పు తీర్చను. ఎందుకంటే నేను ఈ లోకాన్ని రక్షించడానికి వచ్చాను, తీర్పు తీర్చడానికి కాదు. BSB BSB: As for anyone who hears My words and does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world.
48 ULB నన్ను తోసిపుచ్చి, నా మాటలు అంగీకరించని వాడికి తీర్పు తీర్చేవాడు ఒకడున్నాడు. నేను పలికిన వాక్కే చివరి రోజున అతనికి తీర్పు తీరుస్తుంది. BSB BSB: There is a judge for the one who rejects Me and does not receive My words: The word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day.
49 ULB ఎందుకంటే, నా అంతట నేనే మాట్లాడడం లేదు. నేనేం చెప్పాలో, ఏం మాట్లాడాలో నన్ను పంపిన తండ్రి నాకు ఆదేశించాడు. BSB BSB: I have not spoken on My own, but the Father who sent Me has commanded Me what to say and how to say it.
50 ULB ఆయన ఆదేశం శాశ్వత జీవం అని నాకు తెలుసు. అందుకే నేను ఏ మాట చెప్పినా తండ్రి నాతో చెప్పినట్టే వారితో చెబుతున్నాను” అన్నాడు. BSB BSB: And I know that His command leads to eternal life. So I speak exactly what the Father has told Me to say.”
