BSB BSB: It was now just before the Passover Feast, and Jesus knew that His hour had come to leave this world and return to the Father. Having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the very end.

BSB BSB: Jesus told him, “Whoever has already bathed needs only to wash his feet, and he will be completely clean. And you are clean, though not all of you.”

25 ULB ఆ శిష్యుడు యేసు రొమ్మున ఆనుకొని ఆయనతో, “ప్రభూ, ఆ వ్యక్తి ఎవరు?” అని అడిగాడు. BSB BSB: Leaning back against Jesus, he asked, “Lord, who is it?”
26 ULB అప్పుడు యేసు జవాబిస్తూ, “ఈ రొట్టె ముక్క ఎవరికి ముంచి ఇస్తానో, అతడే” అన్నాడు. తరువాత ఆయన రొట్టె ముంచి ఇస్కరియోతు సీమోను కొడుకు యూదాకు ఇచ్చాడు. BSB BSB: Jesus answered, “It is the one to whom I give this morsel after I have dipped it.” Then He dipped the morsel and gave it to Judas son of Simon Iscariot.

36 ULB సీమోను పేతురు ఆయనతో, “ప్రభూ, నువ్వెక్కడికి వెళ్తున్నావు?” అన్నాడు. యేసు జవాబిస్తూ, “నేను వెళ్ళే స్థలానికి ఇప్పుడు నువ్వు నా వెంట రాలేవు, కాని తరవాత వస్తావు” అన్నాడు. BSB BSB: “Lord, where are You going?” Simon Peter asked. Jesus answered, “Where I am going, you cannot follow Me now, but you will follow later.”
37 ULB అందుకు పేతురు, “ప్రభూ, నేను ఇప్పుడే నీ వెంట ఎందుకు రాలేను? నీకోసం నా ప్రాణం పెడతాను” అన్నాడు. BSB BSB: “Lord,” said Peter, “why can’t I follow You now? I will lay down my life for You.”
38 ULB యేసు జవాబిస్తూ, “నా కోసం ప్రాణం పెడతావా? నేను నీతో కచ్చితంగా చెబుతున్నాను, నేనెవరో తెలియదని నువ్వు మూడు సార్లు చెప్పక ముందు కోడి కూయదు” అన్నాడు. BSB BSB: “Will you lay down your life for Me?” Jesus replied. “Truly, truly, I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.
