1. 1ULBయెహోవా యెహోషువతో ఇలా చెప్పాడు,BSBBSB: Then the LORD said to Joshua,
2. 2ULB<<నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో ఈ విధంగా చెప్పాలి, తెలియక పొరపాటున ఎవరినైనా చంపిన హంతకుడు పారిపోడానికి నేను మోషే ద్వారా మీతో పలికించిన ఆశ్రయ పట్టణాలు మీరు ఏర్పరచుకోవాలి.BSBBSB: “Tell the Israelites to designate the cities of refuge, as I instructed you through Moses,
3. 3ULBహత్య విషయమై ప్రతిహత్య చేసేవాడు రాకుండా అవి మీకు ఆశ్రయ పట్టణాలవుతాయి.BSBBSB: so that anyone who kills another unintentionally or accidentally may flee there. These will be your refuge from the avenger of blood.
4. 4ULBఒకడు ఆ పట్టణాల్లో ఒక దానికి పారిపోయి ఆ పట్టణ ద్వారం దగ్గర నిలబడి, ఆ పట్టణపు పెద్దలు వినేలా తన సంగతి చెప్పిన తరువాత, వారు పట్టణంలోకి అతనిని చేర్చుకుని తమ దగ్గర నివసించడానికి స్థలమివ్వాలి.BSBBSB: When someone flees to one of these cities, stands at the entrance of the city gate, and states his case before its elders, they are to bring him into the city and give him a place to live among them.

Then the manslayer may return to his own home in the city from which he fled.”
7. 7ULBఅప్పుడు వాళ్ళు గలిలీలోని నఫ్తాలి కొండ ప్రదేశంలో ఉన్న కెదెషు, ఎఫ్రాయిం కొండ ప్రదేశంలోని షెకెం, యూదా కొండ ప్రదేశంలోని హెబ్రోను అనే కిర్యతర్బాను ప్రతిష్ఠించారు.BSBBSB: So they set apart Kedesh in Galilee in the hill country of Naphtali, Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim, and Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron) in the hill country of Judah.
