3ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు యెహోవా మాట ప్రకారం తమ స్వాస్థ్యంలో ఈ పట్టణాలను, వాటి పచ్చిక మైదానాలను లేవీయులకు ఇచ్చారు.So by the command of the LORD, the Israelites gave the Levites these cities and their pasturelands out of their own inheritance:

The Levites who were descendants of Aaron the priest received thirteen cities by lot from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin.

7మెరారీయులకు రూబేను, గాదు, జెబూలూను గోత్రాల నుండి పన్నెండు పట్టణాలు వచ్చాయి.And the descendants of Merari received twelve cities from the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun.

8యెహోవా మోషే ద్వారా ఆజ్ఞాపించిన ప్రకారం ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు చీట్లు వేసి ఆ పట్టణాలను, పచ్చిక మైదానాలను లేవీయులకు ఇచ్చారు.So the Israelites allotted to the Levites these cities, together with their pasturelands, as the LORD had commanded through Moses.

9యూదా, షిమ్యోను గోత్రాల్లో ఈ కింద చెప్పిన పట్టణాలను వారికిచ్చారు.From the tribes of Judah and Simeon, they designated these cities by name

10వాటిని లేవీయులైన అహరోను వంశంలోని కహాతీయుల కుటుంబాలకు ఇచ్చారు, ఎందుకంటే మొదట పడిన చీటి ప్రకారం వంతు వారిది.to the descendants of Aaron from the Kohathite clans of the Levites, because the first lot fell to them:

15దెబీరు, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూ ఆయిని, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూ యుట్టయు, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూ బేత్షెమెషు, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూHolon, Debir,

16అంటే ఆ రెండు గోత్రాల నుండి తొమ్మిది పట్టణాలనూ ఇచ్చారు.Ain, Juttah, and Beth-shemesh—nine cities from these two tribes, together with their pasturelands.

17బెన్యామీను గోత్రం నుండి నాలుగు పట్టణాలను, అంటే గిబియోను, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూ గెబను, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూAnd from the tribe of Benjamin they gave them Gibeon, Geba,

18అనాతోతు, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూ అల్మోను, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూ ఇచ్చారు.Anathoth, and Almon—four cities, together with their pasturelands.

31హెల్కతు, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూ రెహోబు, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూ ఇచ్చారు.Helkath, and Rehob—four cities, together with their pasturelands.

32నఫ్తాలి గోత్రం నుండి మూడు పట్టణాలను, అంటే అనాలోచితంగా హత్యచేసిన వారికి ఆశ్రయ పట్టణంగా ఉన్న గలిలయలోని కెదెషు, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూ హమ్మోత్దోరు, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూ కర్తాను, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూ ఇచ్చారు.And from the tribe of Naphtali they were given Kedesh in Galilee (a city of refuge for the manslayer), Hammoth-dor, and Kartan—three cities, together with their pasturelands.

37కెదెమోతు, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూ మేఫాతు, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూ ఇచ్చారు.Kedemoth, and Mephaath—four cities, together with their pasturelands.

38గాదు గోత్రం నుండి నాలుగు పట్టణాలను, అంటే హత్యచేసిన వారికి ఆశ్రయ పట్టణంగా ఉన్న గిలాదులోని రామోతు, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూ మహనయీము, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూAnd from the tribe of Gad they were given Ramoth in Gilead, a city of refuge for the manslayer, Mahanaim,

39హెష్బోను, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూ యాజెరు, దాని పచ్చిక మైదానాలనూ ఇచ్చారు.Heshbon, and Jazer—four cities in all, together with their pasturelands.

40వారి వారి వంశాల ప్రకారం, అంటే లేవీయుల మిగిలిన వంశాల ప్రకారం అవన్నీ మెరారీయులకు వచ్చిన పట్టణాలు. చీటి ద్వారా వారికి వచ్చిన పట్టణాలు పన్నెండు.In all, twelve cities were allotted to the clans of Merari, the remaining Levite clans.

41ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల స్వాస్థ్యంలో వాటి పల్లెలుగాక లేవీయుల పట్టణాలన్నీ నలభై ఎనిమిది.For the Levites, then, there were forty-eight cities in all, together with their pasturelands, within the territory of the Israelites.

42ఆ పట్టణాలన్నింటికీ పచ్చిక మైదానాలు ఉన్నాయి. ఆ పట్టణాలన్నీ అలాగే ఉన్నాయి.Each of these cities had its own surrounding pasturelands; this was true for all the cities.

43యెహోవా ప్రమాణం చేసి ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పూర్వీకులకిస్తానని చెప్పిన దేశమంతా ఆయన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు అప్పగించాడు. వాళ్ళు దాని స్వాధీనపరచుకుని దానిలో నివసించారు.Thus the LORD gave Israel all the land He had sworn to give their fathers, and they took possession of it and settled in it.

44యెహోవా వారి పూర్వీకులతో ప్రమాణం చేసిన వాటన్నిటి ప్రకారం అన్నివైపులా వారికి విశ్రాంతి కలగచేశాడు. యెహోవా వారి శత్రువులందరిని వారికి అప్పగించాడు కాబట్టి వాళ్ళలో ఒక్కడు కూడా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ముందు నిలబడలేకపోయారు.And the LORD gave them rest on every side, just as He had sworn to their fathers. None of their enemies could stand against them, for the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.

45యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు ఇచ్చిన మాటలన్నిటిలో ఏదీ తప్పలేదు, అన్నీ నెరవేరాయి.Not one of all the LORD’s good promises to the house of Israel had failed; everything was fulfilled.
