5 ULB మనిషి హృదయంలోని ఆలోచన లోతైన నీళ్ల వంటిది. వివేకం గలవాడు దాన్ని చేదుకుంటాడు. BSB BSB: The intentions of a man’s heart are deep waters, but a man of understanding draws them out.
6 ULB నేను నమ్మదగిన వాణ్ణి అని చాలామంది చెప్పుకుంటారు. అయితే నమ్మదగిన వాడు ఎవరికి కనిపిస్తాడు? BSB BSB: Many a man proclaims his loving devotion, but who can find a trustworthy man?

11 ULB చిన్నవాళ్ళను సైతం వారి చర్యలను బట్టి, వారి ప్రవర్తన శుద్ధమైనదా, యథార్థమైనదా అనే దాన్ని బట్టి వాళ్ళు ఎలాటి వాళ్ళో చెప్పవచ్చు. BSB BSB: Even a young man is known by his actions—whether his conduct is pure and upright.
12 ULB వినగల చెవి చూడగల కన్ను ఈ రెంటిని యెహోవాయే చేశాడు. BSB BSB: Ears that hear and eyes that see—the LORD has made them both.
13 ULB అతిగా నిద్ర పోవద్దు. లేకపోతే దరిద్రం ముంచుకు వస్తుంది. మేలుకుని ఉంటే కడుపు నిండా ఆహారం ఉంటుంది. BSB BSB: Do not love sleep, or you will grow poor; open your eyes, and you will have plenty of food.
14 ULB కొనేవాడు నాసిరకం అంటాడు. అవతలికి వెళ్లి దాన్నే మెచ్చుకుంటాడు. BSB BSB: “Worthless, worthless!” says the buyer, but on the way out, he gloats.
15 ULB బంగారం, విస్తారంగా రత్నాలు ఉన్నాయి. కానీ వివేకంగా మాట్లాడే పెదాలు అమూల్యమైన ఆభరణాలు. BSB BSB: There is an abundance of gold and rubies, but lips of knowledge are a rare treasure.

20 ULB తన తండ్రిని గానీ తల్లిని గానీ దూషించేవాడి దీపం కారుచీకట్లో ఆరిపోతుంది. BSB BSB: Whoever curses his father or mother, his lamp will be extinguished in deepest darkness.
21 ULB నడమంత్రపు సిరి వల్ల చివరకూ దీవెనలు రావు. BSB BSB: An inheritance gained quickly will not be blessed in the end.
22 ULB కీడుకు ప్రతికీడు తలపెట్టవద్దు. యెహోవా కోసం కనిపెట్టుకో. ఆయన నిన్ను కాపాడుతాడు. BSB BSB: Do not say, “I will avenge this evil!” Wait on the LORD, and He will save you.
23 ULB అన్యాయమైన తూకం రాళ్లు యెహోవాకు అసహ్యం. దొంగ త్రాసును ఆయన ఒప్పుకోడు. BSB BSB: Unequal weights are detestable to the LORD, and dishonest scales are no good.
24 ULB మనిషి ప్రవర్తన యెహోవా వశంలో ఉంటుంది. తనకు జరగబోయేది అతనికి ఎలా తెలుస్తుంది? BSB BSB: A man’s steps are from the LORD, so how can anyone understand his own way?

28 ULB కృప, సత్యం రాజుకు రక్ష. కృప మూలంగా అతడు తన సింహాసనాన్ని పదిలం చేసుకుంటాడు. BSB BSB: Loving devotion and faithfulness preserve a king; by these he maintains his throne.
