Luke 11 (THAFB)

4และขอพระองค์ยกโทษบาปของพวกเรา เพราะพวกเราเองก็ยกโทษให้ทุกคนที่เป็นหนี้พวกเรา และขออย่านำพวกเราเข้าสู่การทดลอง แต่ขอช่วยพวกเราให้พ้นจากผู้ชั่วร้าย’”And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.’”

5พระองค์กล่าวกับพวกเขาว่า “ถ้าใครในพวกคุณมีเพื่อน และไปหาเขาตอนเที่ยงคืน พูดว่า ‘เพื่อนเอ๋ย ขอยืมขนมปังสามก้อนเถิดThen Jesus said to them, “Suppose one of you goes to his friend at midnight and says, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread,

7แล้วเพื่อนที่อยู่ข้างในตอบว่า ‘อย่ารบกวนฉันเลย ประตูปิดแล้ว และลูก ๆ ก็นอนอยู่กับฉัน ฉันลุกขึ้นมาให้อะไรท่านไม่ได้’And suppose the one inside answers, ‘Do not bother me. My door is already shut, and my children and I are in bed. I cannot get up to give you anything.’

10เพราะทุกคนที่ขอก็ได้รับ คนที่แสวงหาก็พบ และคนที่เคาะ ประตูก็จะเปิดให้เขาFor everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

11“ในหมู่พวกคุณที่เป็นพ่อ มีใครบ้าง ถ้าลูกชายขอขนมปัง จะให้ก้อนหินแก่เขา? หรือถ้าขอปลา จะให้งูแทนปลาหรือ?What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?

12หรือถ้าเขาขอไข่ จะให้แมงป่องแก่เขาหรือ?Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?

13ถ้าพวกคุณซึ่งเป็นคนชั่วยังรู้จักให้สิ่งดีแก่ลูก ๆ ของตน พระบิดาในสวรรค์จะยิ่งประทานพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์แก่คนที่ทูลขอต่อพระองค์มากกว่านั้นสักเพียงใด!”So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

14พระองค์กำลังขับปีศาจตนหนึ่งซึ่งทำให้คนเป็นใบ้ เมื่อปีศาจออกไป คนใบ้ก็พูดได้ และฝูงชนต่างประหลาดใจOne day Jesus was driving out a demon that was mute. And when the demon was gone, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowds were amazed,

15แต่บางคนในหมู่พวกเขากล่าวว่า “เขาขับปีศาจด้วยอำนาจของเบเอลเซบูล เจ้าแห่งปีศาจ”but some of them said, “It is by Beelzebul, the prince of the demons, that He drives out demons.”

16ส่วนคนอื่น ๆ ต้องการทดสอบพระองค์ จึงขอหมายสำคัญจากสวรรค์And others tested Him by demanding a sign from heaven.

20แต่ถ้าเราขับปีศาจด้วยนิ้วของพระเจ้า อาณาจักรของพระเจ้าก็มาถึงพวกคุณแล้วBut if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

21“เมื่อชายแข็งแรงที่มีอาวุธครบมือเฝ้าบ้านของตน ทรัพย์สินของเขาก็ปลอดภัยWhen a strong man, fully armed, guards his house, his possessions are secure.

22แต่เมื่อมีคนที่แข็งแรงกว่าเข้ามาโจมตีและเอาชนะเขา คนนั้นก็จะเอาอาวุธทั้งชุดที่เขาไว้วางใจไป และแบ่งของที่ปล้นมาได้But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted, and then he divides up his plunder.

25เมื่อกลับไป ก็พบว่าบ้านนั้นกวาดสะอาดและจัดเรียบร้อยOn its return, it finds the house swept clean and put in order.

26มันจึงไปพาวิญญาณอื่นอีกเจ็ดตนที่ชั่วยิ่งกว่าตัวมันเองเข้ามาอยู่ที่นั่น แล้วสภาพสุดท้ายของคนนั้นก็เลวร้ายกว่าสภาพแรก”Then it goes and brings seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and dwell there. And the final plight of that man is worse than the first.”

27ขณะที่พระองค์กำลังกล่าวเรื่องเหล่านี้ หญิงคนหนึ่งในฝูงชนร้องขึ้นว่า “ครรภ์ที่ให้กำเนิดท่านและเต้านมที่เลี้ยงท่านมาก็เป็นสุข!”As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said, “Blessed is the womb that bore You, and blessed are the breasts that nursed You!”

28แต่พระองค์กล่าวว่า “ตรงกันข้าม คนที่ได้ยินพระวจนะของพระเจ้าและรักษาไว้ก็เป็นสุข”But He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

29เมื่อฝูงชนมารวมกันมากขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ พระองค์เริ่มกล่าวว่า “คนยุคนี้เป็นคนชั่ว พวกเขาแสวงหาหมายสำคัญ แต่จะไม่มีหมายสำคัญใดให้แก่พวกเขา นอกจากหมายสำคัญของโยนาห์ผู้เผยพระวจนะAs the crowds were increasing, Jesus said, “This is a wicked generation. It demands a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.

34ตะเกียงของร่างกายคือตา เพราะฉะนั้นเมื่อตาของท่านดี ร่างกายทั้งหมดของท่านก็เต็มไปด้วยแสงสว่าง แต่เมื่อตาของท่านชั่ว ร่างกายของท่านก็เต็มไปด้วยความมืดYour eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are good, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are bad, your body is full of darkness.

35เพราะฉะนั้นจงระวังว่า แสงสว่างที่อยู่ในตัวท่านอย่ากลายเป็นความมืดBe careful, then, that the light within you is not darkness.

36ดังนั้น ถ้าร่างกายทั้งหมดของท่านเต็มไปด้วยแสงสว่าง ไม่มีส่วนใดมืดเลย ร่างกายทั้งหมดก็จะสว่างไสว เหมือนเมื่อตะเกียงส่องแสงสว่างแก่ท่าน”So if your whole body is full of light, with no part of it in darkness, you will be radiant, as though a lamp were shining on you.”

37ขณะที่พระองค์กำลังกล่าวอยู่ ฟาริสีคนหนึ่งเชิญพระองค์ไปรับประทานอาหาร พระองค์จึงเข้าไปและนั่งลงที่โต๊ะAs Jesus was speaking, a Pharisee invited Him to dine with him; so He went in and reclined at the table.

38เมื่อฟาริสีคนนั้นเห็นว่าพระองค์ไม่ได้ชำระตนก่อนรับประทานอาหาร ก็รู้สึกประหลาดใจBut the Pharisee was surprised to see that Jesus did not first wash before the meal.

39องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้ากล่าวกับเขาว่า “พวกคุณที่เป็นฟาริสีชำระถ้วยกับจานเพียงด้านนอก แต่ภายในของพวกคุณเต็มไปด้วยการรีดไถและความชั่วร้ายThen the Lord said, “Now you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness.

40คนโง่เอ๋ย พระองค์ผู้สร้างด้านนอกไม่ได้สร้างด้านในด้วยหรือ?You fools! Did not the One who made the outside make the inside as well?

41แต่จงให้สิ่งที่อยู่ภายในนั้นแก่คนขัดสน แล้วทุกสิ่งก็จะสะอาดสำหรับพวกคุณBut give as alms the things that are within you, and behold, everything will be clean for you.

42แต่วิบัติแก่พวกคุณ ฟาริสี! เพราะพวกคุณถวายหนึ่งในสิบจากสะระแหน่ ต้นรู และผักทุกชนิด แต่กลับละเลยความยุติธรรมและความรักของพระเจ้า สิ่งเหล่านี้พวกคุณควรทำ โดยไม่ละเลยสิ่งอื่นWoe to you Pharisees! For you pay tithes of mint, rue, and every herb, but you disregard justice and the love of God. You should have practiced the latter without neglecting the former.

43วิบัติแก่พวกคุณ ฟาริสี! เพราะพวกคุณชอบที่นั่งดีที่สุดในธรรมศาลา และชอบให้คนทักทายในตลาดWoe to you Pharisees! For you love the chief seats in the synagogues and the greetings in the marketplaces.

44วิบัติแก่พวกคุณ พวกอาลักษณ์และพวกฟาริสี คนหน้าซื่อใจคด! เพราะพวกคุณเหมือนหลุมฝังศพที่มองไม่เห็น และคนที่เดินเหยียบผ่านไปก็ไม่รู้ตัว”Woe to you! For you are like unmarked graves, which men walk over without even noticing.”

45ผู้เชี่ยวชาญธรรมบัญญัติคนหนึ่งตอบพระองค์ว่า “อาจารย์ ที่ท่านพูดอย่างนี้ก็เป็นการดูหมิ่นพวกเราด้วย”One of the experts in the law told Him, “Teacher, when You say these things, You insult us as well.”

46พระองค์กล่าวว่า “วิบัติแก่พวกคุณ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญธรรมบัญญัติด้วย! เพราะพวกคุณเอาภาระหนักที่แบกยากไปวางบนคนอื่น แต่ตัวพวกคุณเองไม่ยอมแม้แต่จะใช้นิ้วเดียวช่วยยกภาระเหล่านั้น“Woe to you as well, experts in the law!” He replied. “For you weigh men down with heavy burdens, but you yourselves will not lift a finger to lighten their load.

47วิบัติแก่พวกคุณ! เพราะพวกคุณสร้างอุโมงค์ฝังศพให้ผู้เผยพระวจนะ แต่บรรพบุรุษของพวกคุณเป็นคนฆ่าพวกเขาWoe to you! For you build tombs for the prophets, but it was your fathers who killed them.

48ดังนั้นพวกคุณจึงเป็นพยานและเห็นชอบกับการกระทำของบรรพบุรุษ เพราะพวกเขาฆ่าผู้เผยพระวจนะ ส่วนพวกคุณก็สร้างอุโมงค์ฝังศพให้พวกเขาSo you are witnesses consenting to the deeds of your fathers: They killed the prophets, and you build their tombs.

49เพราะเหตุนี้ ปัญญาของพระเจ้าจึงกล่าวด้วยว่า ‘เราจะส่งผู้เผยพระวจนะและอัครทูตไปหาพวกเขา และพวกเขาจะฆ่าและข่มเหงบางคนในพวกนั้นBecause of this, the wisdom of God said, ‘I will send them prophets and apostles; some of them they will kill and others they will persecute.’

52วิบัติแก่พวกคุณ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญธรรมบัญญัติ! เพราะพวกคุณเอากุญแจแห่งความรู้ไป ตัวพวกคุณเองก็ไม่เข้าไป และยังขัดขวางคนที่กำลังจะเข้า”Woe to you experts in the law! For you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering.”

53ขณะที่พระองค์กล่าวเรื่องเหล่านี้แก่พวกเขา พวกอาลักษณ์และพวกฟาริสีเริ่มโกรธพระองค์อย่างรุนแรง และคาดคั้นพระองค์ในเรื่องต่าง ๆ มากมายAs Jesus went on from there, the scribes and Pharisees began to oppose Him bitterly and to ply Him with questions about many things,
