1. 1URDOUCVنوحؔا کے بیٹوں، شِمؔ، حامؔ اَور یافیتؔ جِن کے یہاں سیلاب کے بعد بیٹے پیدا ہویٔے، شجرہ نَسب یہ ہے:BSBBSB: This is the account of Noah’s sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth, who also had sons after the flood.
2. 2URDOUCVبنی یافیتؔ یہ ہیں: گومرؔ، ماگوگؔ، مِدائی، یاوانؔ، تُوبل، میشکؔ اَور تیِراسؔ تھے۔BSBBSB: The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.
3. 3URDOUCVبنی گومرؔ یہ ہیں: اشکِنازؔ، ریفتؔ اَور توغرمہؔ۔BSBBSB: The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.
4. 4URDOUCVبنی یاوانؔ یہ ہیں: اِلیشہؔ، ترشیشؔ، کِتّیمؔ اَور دودانیمؔ۔BSBBSB: And the sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittites, and the Rodanites.
5. 5URDOUCV(بحری جزیروں کے باشِندے اِن ہی کی نَسل سے ہیں، وہ اَپنی اَپنی قوموں کے درمیان مُختلف برادریوں میں تقسیم ہو گئے، اَور مُختلف مُلکوں میں پھیل گیٔے اَور ہر ایک اَپنی زبان بولتا تھا۔)BSBBSB: From these, the maritime peoples separated into their territories, according to their languages, by clans within their nations.
6. 6URDOUCVبنی حامؔ یہ ہیں: کُوشؔ، مِصر، فُوطؔ اَور کنعانؔ۔BSBBSB: The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
7. 7URDOUCVبنی کُوشؔ یہ ہیں: سیبا، حَویلہؔ، سبتہؔ، رعماہؔ اَور سبتیکا۔ بنی رعماہؔ یہ ہیں: شیبا اَور دِدانؔ۔BSBBSB: The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
8. 8URDOUCVکُوشؔ نِمرودؔ کا باپ تھا، جو رُوئے زمین پر پہلا زبردست سُورما کے طور پر مشہُور ہُوا۔BSBBSB: Cush was the father of Nimrod, who began to be a mighty one on the earth.
9. 9URDOUCVوہ خُدا کے سامنے ایک زبردست شِکاری تھا، اِسی لیٔے یہ مثل مشہُور ہو گئی، ”یَاہوِہ کے سامنے نِمرودؔ سا شِکاری سُورما!“BSBBSB: He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; so it is said, “Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD.”
10. 10URDOUCVاُس کی بادشاہی کی اِبتدا مُلک شِنعاؔر سے ہُوئی جِن میں بابیل، اِریؔخ، اکّادؔ اَور کَلنہؔ واقع تھے۔BSBBSB: His kingdom began in Babylon, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
11. 11URDOUCVاُس مُلک سے نکل کر وہ اشُور چلا گیا جہاں اُس نے کیٔی شہر بسائے مثلاً نینوہؔ، رحوبوتھؔ عیرؔ، کلحؔBSBBSB: From that land he went forth into Assyria, where he built Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, Calah,
12. 12URDOUCVاَور رسنؔ جو نینوہؔ اَور کلحؔ کے درمیان بہت بڑا شہر ہے۔BSBBSB: and Resen, which is between Nineveh and the great city of Calah.
13. 13URDOUCVبنی مِصر لُودیؔم، عنامیمؔ، لہابیمؔ، نفتوحیؔم،BSBBSB: Mizraim was the father of the Ludites, the Anamites, the Lehabites, the Naphtuhites,
14. 14URDOUCVفتروسیم، کسلوحیم (جِن سے فلسطینی نکلے) اَور کفتُوری پیدا ہویٔے۔BSBBSB: the Pathrusites, the Casluhites (from whom the Philistines came), and the Caphtorites.
15. 15URDOUCVبنی کنعانؔ اُس کا پہلوٹھا صیدونؔ پیدا ہُوا اَور حِتّی،BSBBSB: And Canaan was the father of Sidon his firstborn, and of the Hittites,
16. 16URDOUCVاَور یبُوسی، امُوری، گِرگاشی،BSBBSB: the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites,
17. 17URDOUCVاَور حِوّیؔ، عَرکی، سیِنیBSBBSB: the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites,
18. 18URDOUCVاَور اَروادیؔ، ضِماریؔ اَور حماتیؔ پیدا ہویٔے۔ (بعد میں کنعانی برادری بھی پھیل گئیBSBBSB: the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites. Later the Canaanite clans were scattered,
19. 19URDOUCVاَور کنعانیوں کی حُدوُد صیدونؔ سے گِراؔر کی طرف غزّہؔ تک اَور پھر سدُومؔ، عمورہؔ، اَدمہؔ اَور ضبوئیمؔ کی طرف لشعؔ تک پہُنچ گئیں۔)BSBBSB: and the borders of Canaan extended from Sidon toward Gerar as far as Gaza, and then toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.
20. 20URDOUCVبنی حامؔ یہی ہیں جو اَپنی برادریوں اَور زبانوں کے مُطابق اَپنے اَپنے مُلکوں اَور قوموں میں آباد ہیں۔BSBBSB: These are the sons of Ham according to their clans, languages, lands, and nations.
21. 21URDOUCVپھر شِمؔ کے ہاں جِس کا بڑا بھایٔی یافیتؔ تھا اَولاد ہُوئی۔ شِمؔ تمام بنی عِبرؔ کا باپ تھا۔BSBBSB: And sons were also born to Shem, the older brother of Japheth; Shem was the forefather of all the sons of Eber.
22. 22URDOUCVبنی شِمؔ یہ ہیں: عیلامؔ، اشُور، اَرفاکسَدؔ، لُودؔ اَور ارام۔BSBBSB: The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram.
23. 23URDOUCVبنی ارام یہ ہیں: عُوضؔ، حُولؔ، گیتھرؔ اَور ماش۔BSBBSB: The sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.
24. 24URDOUCVاَرفاکسَدؔ شِلحؔ کا باپ تھا اَور شِلحؔ عِبرؔ کا باپ تھا۔BSBBSB: Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah was the father of Eber.
25. 25URDOUCVعِبرؔ کے ہاں دو بیٹے پیدا ہویٔے: ایک کا نام پِلِگ یعنی تقسیم تھا کیونکہ اُس کے ایّام میں زمین تقسیم ہُوئی اَور اُس کے بھایٔی کا نام یُقطانؔ تھا۔BSBBSB: Two sons were born to Eber: One was named Peleg, because in his days the earth was divided, and his brother was named Joktan.
26. 26URDOUCVبنی یُقطانؔ سے اَلمُودادؔ، شِلفؔ، حَصارمِبیتؔھ، یِراحؔ،BSBBSB: And Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
27. 27URDOUCVہَدورامؔ، اُوزالؔ، دِقلہؔ،BSBBSB: Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
28. 28URDOUCVعُبالؔ، اَبی ماایلؔ، شیبا،BSBBSB: Obal, Abimael, Sheba,
29. 29URDOUCVاوفیرؔ، حَویلہؔ اَور یُوبابؔ پیدا ہویٔے۔ یہ سَب یُقطانؔ کے بیٹے تھے۔BSBBSB: Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were sons of Joktan.
30. 30URDOUCVاَور جِس علاقہ میں وہ بستے تھے وہ میشاؔ سے لے کر مشرق میں پہاڑی علاقہ سِفارؔ تک پھیلا ہُوا تھا۔BSBBSB: Their territory extended from Mesha to Sephar, in the eastern hill country.
31. 31URDOUCVبنی شِمؔ یہی ہیں جو اَپنی برادریوں اَور زبانوں کے مُطابق اَپنے اَپنے مُلکوں اَور قوموں میں آباد ہیں۔BSBBSB: These are the sons of Shem, according to their clans, languages, lands, and nations.
32. 32URDOUCVنوحؔا کے بیٹوں کے خاندان اَپنی برادریوں اَور نَسلوں کے مُطابق یہی ہیں اَور سیلاب کے بعد یہی لوگ مُختلف قوموں میں تقسیم ہوکر زمین پر پھیل گیٔے۔BSBBSB: All these are the clans of Noah’s sons, according to their generations and nations. From these the nations of the earth spread out after the flood.
