Mark 5 (URDOUCV)

1یِسوعؔ جھیل کے پار گِراسینیوں کے علاقہ میں پہُنچے۔On the other side of the sea, they arrived in the region of the Gerasenes.

2جَب وہ کشتی سے اُترے، ایک آدمی جِس میں بدرُوح تھی قبر سے نکل کر آپ کے پاس آیا۔As soon as Jesus got out of the boat, He was met by a man with an unclean spirit, who was coming from the tombs.

3یہ آدمی قبروں میں رہتا تھا، اَور اَب اُسے زنجیروں میں باندھنا بھی ناممکن ہو گیا تھا۔This man had been living in the tombs and could no longer be restrained, even with chains.

4کیونکہ پہلے کیٔی بار وہ بِیڑیوں اَور زنجیروں سے جکڑا گیا تھا، لیکن وہ زنجیروں کو توڑ ڈالتا اَور بِیڑیوں کے ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیتا تھا۔ اَور کویٔی اُسے قابُو میں نہ لا سَکتا تھا۔Though he was often bound with chains and shackles, he had broken the chains and shattered the shackles. Now there was no one with the strength to subdue him.

5وہ دِن رات قبروں اَور پہاڑوں میں برابر چیختا چِلّاتا رہتا تھا اَور اَپنے آپ کو پتھّروں سے زخمی کر لیتا تھا۔Night and day in the tombs and in the mountains he kept crying out and cutting himself with stones.

6جَب بدرُوح نے دُور سے یِسوعؔ کو دیکھا، تو دَوڑکر آپ کے پاس پہُنچی اَور آپ کے سامنے سَجدہ میں گِر کرWhen the man saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees before Him.

7چِلّا چِلّاکر کہا، ”اَے یِسوعؔ خُداتعالیٰ کے بیٹے، آپ کو مُجھ سے کیا کام، آپ کو خُدا کی قَسم؟ مُجھے عذاب میں نہ ڈالیں!“And he shouted in a loud voice, “What do You want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You before God not to torture me!”

8بات دراصل یہ تھی کہ آپ نے اُس سے کہاتھا، ”اَے بدرُوح، اِس آدمی میں سے باہر نکل آ!“For Jesus had already declared, “Come out of this man, you unclean spirit!”

9آپ نے بدرُوح سے پُوچھا، ”تیرا نام کیا ہے؟“ اُس نے جَواب دیا، ”میرا نام لشکر ہے، کیونکہ ہماری تعداد بہت زِیادہ ہے۔““What is your name?” Jesus asked. “My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.”

10بدرُوح نے آپ کی مِنّت کی کہ ہمیں اِس علاقہ سے باہر نہ بھیج۔And he begged Jesus repeatedly not to send them out of that region.

11وہیں پہاڑی کے پاس سُؤروں کا ایک بڑا غول چَر رہاتھا۔There on the nearby hillside a large herd of pigs was feeding.

12بدرُوحیں آپ سے مِنّت کرنے لگیں، ”ہمیں اُن سُؤروں، میں بھیج دیجئے؛ تاکہ ہم اُن میں داخل ہو جایٔیں۔“So the demons begged Jesus, “Send us to the pigs, so that we may enter them.”

13چنانچہ آپ کی اِجازت سے، بدرُوحیں اُس آدمی میں سے نکل کر سُؤروں میں داخل ہو گئیں۔ اَور اُس غول، کے سارے سُؤر جِن کی تعداد تقریباً دو ہزار تھی، ڈھلان سے جھیل کی طرف لپکے اَور پانی میں گِر کر ڈُوب مَرے۔He gave them permission, and the unclean spirits came out and went into the pigs, and the herd of about two thousand rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the water.

14سُؤر چَرانے والے وہاں سے بھاگ کھڑے ہویٔے اَور اُنہُوں نے شہر اَور دیہات میں، اِس بات کی خبر پہُنچائی لوگ یہ ماجرا دیکھنے کے لیٔے دَوڑے چلے آئے۔Those tending the pigs ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened.

15جَب لوگ یِسوعؔ کے پاس پہُنچے اَور اُس آدمی کو جِس میں بدرُوحوں کا لشکر تھا، اُسے کپڑے پہنے ہویٔے، ہوش کی حالت میں؛ بیٹھے دیکھا تو بہت خوفزدہ ہویٔے۔When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons sitting there, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.

16جنہوں نے یہ واقعہ دیکھا تھا اُنہُوں نے بدرُوحوں والے آدمی کا حال اَور سُؤروں کا تمام ماجرا اُن سے بَیان کیا۔Those who had seen it described what had happened to the demon-possessed man and also to the pigs.

17لوگ یِسوعؔ کی مِنّت کرنے لگے کہ آپ ہمارے علاقہ سے باہر چلے جایٔیں۔And the people began to beg Jesus to leave their region.

18آپ کشتی میں، سوار ہونے لگے تو وہ آدمی جو پہلے بدرُوحوں کے قبضہ میں تھا، یِسوعؔ سے مِنّت کی کہ مُجھے بھی اَپنے ساتھ لے چلئے۔As He was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed by the demons begged to go with Him.

19آپ نے اُسے اِجازت نہ دی، بَلکہ اُس سے کہا، ”گھرجاکر اَپنے لوگوں کو بتاؤ کہ خُداوؔند نے تمہارے لیٔے اِتنے بڑے کام کیٔے، اَور تُم پر رحم کیا ہے۔“But Jesus would not allow him. “Go home to your own people,” He said, “and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and what mercy He has shown you.”

20پس وہ آدمی گیا اَور دِکَپُلِسؔ میں اِس بات کا چَرچا کرنے لگا یِسوعؔ نے اُس کے لیٔے کیسے بڑے کام کیٔے اَور سَب لوگ تعجُّب کرتے تھے۔So the man went away and began to proclaim throughout the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And everyone was amazed.

21پھر یِسوعؔ کشتی کے ذریعہ واپس ہُوئے اَور جھیل کے دُوسری پار پہُنچتے ہی ایک بڑی بھیڑ آپ کے پاس جمع ہو گئی، جَب کہ آپ جھیل کے کنارے پر ہی رہے۔When Jesus had again crossed by boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered around Him beside the sea.

22تَب مقامی یہُودی عبادت گاہ کے رہنماؤں، میں سے ایک جِس کا نام یائیرؔ تھا، وہاں پہُنچا، آپ کو دیکھ کر، آپ کے قدموں پر گِر پڑاA synagogue leader named Jairus arrived, and seeing Jesus, he fell at His feet

23اَور مِنّت کرکے کہنے لگا، ”میری چُھوٹی بیٹی مَرنے پر ہے۔ مہربانی سے چلئے اَور اُس پر اَپنے ہاتھ رکھ دیجئے تاکہ وہ شفایاب ہو جائے اَور زندہ رہے۔“and pleaded with Him urgently, “My little daughter is near death. Please come and place Your hands on her, so that she will be healed and live.”

24پس آپ اُس کے ساتھ چلے گیٔے۔ اَور اِتنی بڑی بھیڑ آپ کے پیچھے ہو گئی لوگ آپ پر گِرے پڑتے تھے۔So Jesus went with him, and a large crowd followed and pressed around Him.

25ایک خاتُون تھی جِس کے بَارہ بَرس سے خُون جاری تھا۔And a woman was there who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years.

26وہ کیٔی طبیبوں سے علاج کراتے کراتے پریشان ہو گئی تھی اَور اَپنی ساری پُونجی لُٹا چُکی تھی، لیکن تندرست ہونے کی بجائے پہلے سے بھی زِیادہ بیمار ہو گئی تھی۔She had borne much agony under the care of many physicians and had spent all she had, but to no avail. Instead, her condition had only grown worse.

27اُس خاتُون نے یِسوعؔ کے بارے میں بہت کُچھ سُن رکھا تھا، چنانچہ اُس نے ہُجوم میں گھُس کر پیچھے سے یِسوعؔ کی پوشاک کو چھُو لیا،When the woman heard about Jesus, she came up through the crowd behind Him and touched His cloak.

28کیونکہ وہ کہتی تھی، ”اگر مَیں یِسوعؔ کی پوشاک ہی کو چھُو لُوں گی، تو میں شفا پا جاؤں گی۔“For she kept saying, “If only I touch His garments, I will be healed.”

29اُسی دَم اُس کا خُون بہنا بندہو گیا اَور اُسے اَپنے بَدن میں محسُوس ہُوا کہ اُس کی ساری تکلیف جاتی رہی ہے۔Immediately her bleeding stopped, and she sensed in her body that she was healed of her affliction.

30یِسوعؔ نے فوراً جان لیا کہ اُن میں سے قُوّت نکلی ہے۔ لہٰذا آپ ہُجوم کی طرف مُڑے اَور پُوچھنے لگے، ”کِس نے میری پوشاک کو چھُوا ہے؟“At once Jesus was aware that power had gone out from Him. Turning to the crowd, He asked, “Who touched My garments?”

31شاگردوں نے یِسوعؔ سے کہا، ”آپ دیکھ رہے ہیں کہ ہُجوم کِس طرح آپ پر گرا پڑ رہاہے، اَور پھر بھی آپ پُوچھتے ہیں، ’کِس نے مُجھے چھُوا ہے؟‘ “His disciples answered, “You can see the crowd pressing in on You, and yet You ask, ‘Who touched Me?’”

32لیکن آپ نے چاروں طرف نظر دَوڑائی تاکہ دیکھیں کہ کِس نے اَیسا کیا ہے۔But He kept looking around to see who had done this.

33لیکن وہ خاتُون، یہ جانتے ہویٔے اُس پر کیا اثر ہُواہے، خوفزدہ سِی اَور کانپتی ہویٔی آئی اَور آپ کے قدموں میں گِر کر، آپ کو ساری حقیقت بَیان کی۔Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him trembling in fear, and she told Him the whole truth.

34آپ نے اُس سے کہا، ”بیٹی، تمہارے ایمان نے تُمہیں شفا بخشی۔ سلامتی کے ساتھ رخصت ہو اَور اَپنی پریشانیوں سے نَجات پاؤ۔““Daughter,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be free of your affliction.”

35آپ ابھی وعظ دے ہی رہے تھے، یہُودی عبادت گاہ کے رہنما یائیرؔ کے گھر سے کُچھ لوگ آ پہُنچے، رہنما نے خبر دی۔ ”آپ کی بیٹی مَر چُکی ہے، اَب اُستاد کو مزید تکلیف نہ دیجئے؟“While He was still speaking, messengers from the house of Jairus arrived and said, “Your daughter is dead; why bother the Teacher anymore?”

36یِسوعؔ نے یہ سُن کر، یہُودی عبادت گاہ کے رہنما سے کہا، ”خوف نہ کرو؛ صِرف ایمان رکھو۔“But Jesus overheard their conversation and said to Jairus, “Do not be afraid; just believe.”

37آپ نے پطرس، یعقوب اَور یعقوب کے بھایٔی یُوحنّا کے علاوہ کسی اَور کو اَپنے ساتھ نہ آنے دیا۔And He did not allow anyone to accompany Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James.

38جِس وقت وہ یہُودی عبادت گاہ کے رہنما کے گھر پہُنچے، تو آپ نے دیکھا، وہاں بڑا کہرام مچا ہُواہے اَور لوگ بہت رو پیٹ رہے ہیں۔When they arrived at the house of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw the commotion and the people weeping and wailing loudly.

39جَب وہ اَندر پہُنچے تو اُن سے کہا، ”تُم لوگوں نے کیوں اِس قدر رونا پیٹنا مچا رکھا ہے؟ بچّی مَری نہیں بَلکہ سو رہی ہے۔“He went inside and asked, “Why all this commotion and weeping? The child is not dead, but asleep.”

40اِس پر وہ آپ کی ہنسی اُڑانے لگے۔ لیکن آپ نے اُن سَب کو وہاں سے باہر نکلوادِیا، اَور بچّی کے ماں باپ اَور اَپنے شاگردوں کو لے کر بچّی کے پاس گیٔے۔And they laughed at Him. After He had put them all outside, He took the child’s father and mother and His own companions, and went in to see the child.

41وہاں بچّی کا ہاتھ پکڑکر آپ نے اُس سے کہا، ”تلِیتا قَومی!“ (جِس کے معنی ہیں ”اَے بچّی، میں تُم سے کہتا ہُوں، اُٹھو!“)Taking her by the hand, Jesus said, “Talitha koum!” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”

42بچّی ایک دَم اُٹھی اَور چلنے پھرنے لگی (یہ لڑکی بَارہ بَرس کی تھی)۔ یہ دیکھ کر لوگ حیرت زدہ رہ گیٔے۔Immediately the girl got up and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). And at once they were utterly astounded.

43یِسوعؔ نے اُنہیں سخت تاکید کی کہ اِس کی خبر کسی کو نہ ہونے پایٔے، اَور فرمایا کہ لڑکی کو کُچھ کھانے کو دیا جائے۔Then Jesus gave strict orders that no one should know about this, and He told them to give her something to eat.
