1 PBW Ngala dukana na tou nama wainya na moiri yesus jiaya hi kristus na jaji lahi Allah. BSB BSB: Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves those born of Him.

4 PBW Jiaya, ngala dama walingu tamarabba Allah dataluya napinu tana, ya jiayaka nama taluya napinu tana, witina namaninguda. BSB BSB: because everyone born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.
5 PBW Geara hinguya nama taluya napinu tana, ada jiaka yaka nama wainya nama rabba yesus ajiayaka na anana hi Allah. BSB BSB: Who then overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
6 PBW Jiaya nama amingu waingu weijaka wei raa"Hi moiri yesus kristus"da jiapakaya ana waingu wei, jidika nawaingu weijaka na. Hangahu harina jiaya nama peakaya nama kalungu. BSB BSB: This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ—not by water alone, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies to this, because the Spirit is the truth.

BSB BSB: Whoever believes in the Son of God has this testimony within him; whoever does not believe God has made Him out to be a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given about His Son.
12 PBW Ngaladukana na tou nama buhanya nea nana, na kolingu moriku, jaka ngaladukana na tou dama buhanya na Ana na dana kolingu moriku. BSB BSB: Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
14 PBW Ya jiayaka namaninguda tahagana, agana hingunya napa kareida, nama tutu topa kabu atina, enga naranguda. BSB BSB: And this is the confidence that we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
15 PBW Jaka ata peakanyaka agananya napakareida ana rangu da, ta peanyaka ana woadanya napa kareida. BSB BSB: And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we already possess what we have asked of Him.
16 PBW A eikanguka nama itaya naoali beina nama wolu hala, dama arangu jaka matidengangu, na tou nou kana kareiya hi moiri, kana woanya moriku na oalina. Ya namu eijelanya nahala napamati dengangu, jidika doku tiki magunya nahala yayi. BSB BSB: If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he should ask God, who will give life to those who commit this kind of sin. There is a sin that leads to death; I am not saying he should ask regarding that sin.
17 PBW Ngaladukana dama kalungu, pahala denganguya, ya namu, ei jelaja nahela dapa mati dengangu. BSB BSB: All unrighteousness is sin, yet there is sin that does not lead to death.
18 PBW Tapea bolunya ngaladukana na tou nama walingu tama rabba Allah dana wolu mangu hala ya duna nama jaji walingu tama rabba Allah, napahigiluya hi padibangu dana rega maya. BSB BSB: We know that anyone born of God does not keep on sinning; the One who was born of God protects him, and the evil one cannot touch him.
19 PBW Ya jiata ta peangu wikida awalida tama rabba Allah jaka ngaladukana napinutana, einya tawawaparehana hipadibang. BSB BSB: We know that we are of God, and that the whole world is under the power of the evil one.
20 PBW Jiata tapeanyaka, ya na anana nama rabba Allah aminyaka anawoada pangadangu hita peanya ajianya nama tutu tidu, jaka duda ka eijelada toma tutu tama tidi kata kolinya namoriku malodungu. BSB BSB: And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
21 PBW Ngala dukami aku anagimi, pamaroungu wikimu walingu tapata pinu tana. BSB BSB: Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
