2 ULB እኔ ጳውሎስ የምለውን ተመልከቱ ብትገረዙ ክርስቶስ በምንም ዓይነት መልኩ አይጠቅማችሁም። BSB BSB: Take notice: I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.
3 ULB የተገረዘ ሁሉ ህግን ሁሉ የመፈጸም ግዴታ አለበት ብዬ እንደገና እመሰክራለሁ። BSB BSB: Again I testify to every man who gets himself circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law.
4 ULB በህግ ልትጸድቁ የምትደክሙ ሁላችሁ የእግዚአብሔር ጠላቶች ሆናችኋል፤ከጸጋም ርቃችኋል። BSB BSB: You who are trying to be justified by the law have been severed from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
5 ULB ምክንያቱም እኛ በመንፈስ ቅዱስ አማካኝነት የጽድቅን ዋስትና ስለምንጠብቅ ነው። BSB BSB: But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the hope of righteousness.
7 ULB በጥሩ ሁኔታ ትሮጡ ነበር። ታዲያ ለእውነት ከመታዘዝ ያስቆማችሁ ማነው? BSB BSB: You were running so well. Who has obstructed you from obeying the truth?
8 ULB ይህን እንድታደርጉ የሚያደርግ ጉትጎታ ከጠራችሁ የመጣ አይደለም። BSB BSB: Such persuasion does not come from the One who calls you.
9 ULB ትንሽ እርሾ ሊጡን በሙሉ እንዲቦካ ያደርጋል። BSB BSB: A little leaven works through the whole batch of dough.
10 ULB በሌላ መልኩ እንደማታስቡ በጌታ እተማመንባችኋለሁ። ግራ የሚያጋባችሁ ማንም ይሁን ማን ፍርዱን ይቀበላል። BSB BSB: I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is troubling you will bear the judgment, whoever he may be.
11 ULB ወንድሞች ሆይ እስከአሁን ተገረዙ እያልኩ የምሰብክ ቢሆን ለምን እሰደድ ነበር? እንግዲያውስ የመስቀሉ እንቅፋት ይደመሰሳል። BSB BSB: Now, brothers, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished.
12 ULB የሚያስቷችሁ እራሳቸው ሄደው በተሰለቡ ብዬ እመኛለሁ። BSB BSB: As for those who are agitating you, I wish they would proceed to emasculate themselves!
13 ULB ወንድሞች ሆይ እግዚአብሔር የጠራችሁ ለነጻነት ነው። ብቻ ነጻነታችሁን ለሥጋ ፈቃድ አትጠቀሙበት፥ በዚያ ፈንታ እርስ በእርሳችሁ በፍቅር አንዳችሁ አንዳችሁን አገልግሉ። BSB BSB: For you, brothers, were called to freedom; but do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh. Rather, serve one another in love.
14 ULB ምክንያቱም ህግ ሁሉ «ባልንጀራህን እንደራስህ ልትወድ ይገባል» BSB BSB: The entire law is fulfilled in a single decree: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
15 ULB በሚለው ትዕዛዝ የተጠቀለለ ነው። BSB BSB: But if you keep on biting and devouring one another, watch out, or you will be consumed by one another.
16 ULB በመንፈስ ተመላለሱ የሥጋን ክፉ ምኞት አትፈጽሙ እላችኋለሁ። BSB BSB: So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
17 ULB ምክንያቱም ሥጋ ከመንፈስ ተቃራኒ መንፈስም ከሥጋ ተቃራኒ ነገር ይመኛሉና ነው። BSB BSB: For the flesh craves what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are opposed to each other, so that you do not do what you want.
18 ULB እነዚህ እርስ በእርሳቸው ስለሚቀዋወሙ በውጤቱ እናንተ የምትፈልጉትን ለማድረግ አትችሉም። BSB BSB: But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 ULB እንግዲህ የሥጋ ስራዎች የተገለጡ ናቸው። እነዚህም አስቀድሜ እንዳስጠነቀኩዋችሁ BSB BSB: The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery;
20 ULB ዝሙት፣እርኩሰት፣ክፉ ምኞት፣ጣዖትን ማምለክ፣ምዋርት፣ጥል፣ክርክር፣ቅናት፣ በቁጣ መገንፈል፣አድመኛነት፣መለያየት፣ BSB BSB: idolatry and sorcery; hatred, discord, jealousy, and rage; rivalries, divisions, factions,
21 ULB መናፍቅነት፥ ምቀኝነት፥ መግደል፥ስካር፥ ዘፋኝነትና የመሳሰሉት ናቸው፥ ፥አስቀድሜ እንደነገርኳችሁ እነዚህን የሚያደርጉ የእግዚአብሔርን መንግሥት አይወርሱም። BSB BSB: and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 ULB የመንፈስ ፍሬ ግን ፍቅር፥ ደስታ፣ ሠላም፣ ትዕግሥ፣ ቸርነት፥ መልካምነት፥ እምነት፥ BSB BSB: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 ULB የውሃት፥ ራስን መግዛት ናቸው። ህግ እነዚህን አይቃወም። BSB BSB: gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
24 ULB የክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ የሆኑት ሥጋን ከክፉ ስሜቱና መሻቱ ጋር ሰቅለውታል። BSB BSB: Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 ULB በመንፈስ የምንኖር ከሆነ በመንፈስ እንመላለስ። BSB BSB: Since we live by the Spirit, let us walk in step with the Spirit.
26 ULB አንታበይ፣ እርስ በእርሳችን ለክፉ አንነሳሳ፣ አንቀናና። BSB BSB: Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying one another.
