2 ULB ድንጋዩ ከመቃብሩ ተንከባሎ አገኙት። BSB BSB: They found the stone rolled away from the tomb,
3 ULB ወደ ውስጥ ገቡ፣ ነገር ግን የጌታ ኢየሱስን ሥጋ አላገኙም። BSB BSB: but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 ULB ስለዚህ ነገር ግራ ተጋብተው ሳሉ፣ የሚያብረቀርቅ ልብስ የለበሱ ሁለት ሰዎች በድንገት ከአጠገባቸው ቆመው አገኙ። BSB BSB: While they were puzzling over this, suddenly two men in radiant apparel stood beside them.
5 ULB ሴቶቹ በፍርሃት ተሞልተውና ወደ መሬት አቀርቅረው ሳሉ፣ ሰዎቹ ፣“ስለምን ሕያውን ከሙታን መካከል ትፈልጋላችሁ? BSB BSB: As the women bowed their faces to the ground in terror, the two men asked them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead?
6 ULB እርሱ በዚህ የለም፣ ተነሥቷል! ገና በገሊላ ሳለ፣ BSB BSB: He is not here; He has risen! Remember how He told you while He was still in Galilee:
7 ULB እንዴት በኃጢአተኞች ሰዎች እጅ ተላልፎ እንደሚሰጥ፣ እንደሚሰቀልና በሦስተኛው ቀን እንደሚነሣ የነገራችሁን አስታውሱ" አሏቸው። BSB BSB: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise again.’”
8 ULB ሴቶቹ ቃሎቹን አስታወሱ፣ BSB BSB: Then they remembered His words.
9 ULB ከመቃብሩም ተመለሱና እነዚህን ነገሮች ሁሉ ለዐሥራ አንዱና ለተቀሩትም ነገሩ። BSB BSB: And when they returned from the tomb, they reported all these things to the Eleven and to all the others.
10 ULB መግደላዊት ማርያም፣ ዮሐናና የያዕቆብ እናት ማርያም እንዲሁም ሌሎች ሴቶች ሁኔታውን ለሐዋርያት ነገሯቸው። BSB BSB: It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them who told this to the apostles.
12 ULB ሆኖም ግን ጴጥሮስ ተነሣና እየሮጠ ወደ መቃብሩ ሄደ፣ ከዚያም አጎንብሶ ወደ ውስጥ ሲመለከት፣ የተልባው እግር ጨርቅ ለብቻው ተቀምጦ አየ። ከዚያ በኋላ ጴጥሮስ ምን ተፈጥሮ ይሆን ብሎ እያሰበ ወደ ቤቱ ተመለሰ። BSB BSB: Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. And after bending down and seeing only the linen cloths, he went away, wondering to himself what had happened.
14 ULB ስለሆኑት ነገሮች ሁሉ በመንገዳቸው ላይ እርስ በርስ ይነጋገሩ ነበር። BSB BSB: They were talking with each other about everything that had happened.
15 ULB እየተነጋገሩና እየተጠያየቁ በመሄድ ላይ ሳሉ፣ ኢየሱስ ወደ እነርሱ ተጠግቶ ይሄድ ነበር። BSB BSB: And as they talked and deliberated, Jesus Himself came up and walked along with them.
16 ULB ነገር ግን እርሱን እንዳያውቁት ዐይኖቻቸው ተይዘው ነበር። BSB BSB: But their eyes were kept from recognizing Him.
17 ULB ኢየሱስ፣ “እናንተ ሁለታችሁ እየተጓዛችሁ የምትነጋገሩት ስለምንድን ነው?” አላቸው። ያዘኑ መስለው ቆም አሉ። BSB BSB: He asked them, “What are you discussing so intently as you walk along?” They stood still, with sadness on their faces.
18 ULB ስሙ ቀለዮጳ የተባለ ከሁለቱ አንዱ፣ “በኢየሩሳሌም ሰሞኑን የተደረጉትን ነገሮች የማታውቅ አንተ ብቻ ነህን?" ብሎ መለሰለት። BSB BSB: One of them, named Cleopas, asked Him, “Are You the only visitor to Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in recent days?”
19 ULB ኢየሱስም፣ “ነገሮቹ ምንድን ናቸው?” አላቸው። BSB BSB: “What things?” He asked. “The events involving Jesus of Nazareth,” they answered. “This man was a prophet, powerful in speech and action before God and all the people.
20 ULB እነርሱም እንዲህ ብለው መለሱለት፣ “የካህናት አለቆችና ገዢዎቻችን ኢየሱስ የተባለውን ናዝራዊና ነቢይ እንዴት አድርገው እንደ ፈረዱበትና ለሞትና ለስቅላት አሳልፈው እንደ ሰጡት ነዋ። BSB BSB: Our chief priests and rulers delivered Him up to the sentence of death, and they crucified Him.
21 ULB እስራኤልን ነጻ ያወጣል ብለን ተስፋ ያደረግነው እርሱን ነበር። አዎን፣ ከዚህ ሁሉ በላይ ደግሞ ይህ ነገር ከሆነ አሁን ሦስተኛ ቀኑ ነው” BSB BSB: But we were hoping He was the One who would redeem Israel. And besides all this, it is the third day since these things took place.
22 ULB ነገር ግን ጠዋት ወደ መቃብሩ የሄዱ ከእኛ ጋር የሆኑ አንዳንድ ሴቶች አስገረሙን። BSB BSB: Furthermore, some of our women astounded us. They were at the tomb early this morning,
23 ULB ሥጋውን ባላገኙ ጊዜ፣ በመቃብሩ ውስጥ ሥጋውን እንዳላገኙና እርሱ ሕያው ሆኗል ብለው የነገሯቸውን የመላእክት ራእይ አይተናል አሉ። BSB BSB: but they did not find His body. They came and told us they had seen a vision of angels, who said that Jesus was alive.
24 ULB ከእኛ ጋር ካሉት ወንዶችም አንዳንዶች ወደ መቃብሩ ሄደው ልክ ሴቶቹ እንዳሉት ሆኖ አገኙት። ነገር ግን እርሱን አላዩትም”። BSB BSB: Then some of our companions went to the tomb and found it just as the women had described. But Him they did not see.”
26 ULB ክርስቶስ በእነዚህ ነገሮች መሠቃየቱና ወደ ክብሩ መግባቱ ግድ መሆኑን አታውቁምን?" አላቸው። BSB BSB: Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and then to enter His glory?”
27 ULB ከዚያም ከሙሴ ጀምሮ እስከ ነቢያት መጻሕፍት፣ በመጻሕፍት ሁሉ ስለ እርሱ የተነገረውን ተረጐመላቸው። BSB BSB: And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He explained to them what was written in all the Scriptures about Himself.
28 ULB ወደሚሄዱበት መንደር በተቃረቡ ጊዜ፣ ኢየሱስ ቀደም ቀደም እያለ መሄድ ጀመረ። BSB BSB: As they approached the village where they were headed, He seemed to be going farther.
29 ULB ነገር ግን እነርሱ፣ “ቀኑ እየመሸ ጊዜውም እያለፈ ስለ ሆነ ከእኛ ጋር እደር” ብለው ጎተጎቱት። ስለዚህ ኢየሱስ ከእነርሱ ጋር ሊያድር ሄደ። BSB BSB: But they pleaded with Him, “Stay with us, for it is nearly evening and the day is almost over.” So He went in to stay with them.
30 ULB ለመብላት ከእነርሱ ጋር በማዕድ በተቀመጠ ጊዜ፣ እንጀራውን ወሰደና ከባረከው በኋላ ቈርሶ ሰጣቸው። BSB BSB: While He was reclining at the table with them, He took bread, spoke a blessing and broke it, and gave it to them.
31 ULB በዚህ ጊዜ ዐይኖቻቸው ተከፈቱና አወቁት። እርሱ ግን ከዐይናቸው ተሰወረባቸው። BSB BSB: Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Jesus—and He disappeared from their sight.
32 ULB እርስ በርሳቸው፣ “በመንገድ ላይ አብረን ሳለን ሲያናግረንና መጻሕፍትን ሲከፍት ልባችን በውስጣችን ይቃጠልብን አልነበርምን?” ተባባሉ። BSB BSB: They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us as He spoke with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”
33 ULB በዚያው ሰዓት ተነሥተው ወደ ኢየሩሳሌም ተመለሱ። ዐሥራ አንዱና ከእነርሱ ጋር የነበሩትም ተሰብስበው እንዲህ እያሉ አገኟቸው፤ BSB BSB: And they got up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven and those with them, gathered together
34 ULB “ጌታ በእርግጥ ተነሥቷል፣ ለስምዖንም ታይቷል።” BSB BSB: and saying, “The Lord has indeed risen and has appeared to Simon!”
35 ULB ከዚያም በመንገድ ላይ የሆነውን ነገርና ኢየሱስ በማዕድ እንጀራን በሚቈርስበት ጊዜ እንዴት እንደ ታያቸው ተናገሩ። BSB BSB: Then the two told what had happened on the road, and how they had recognized Jesus in the breaking of the bread.
37 ULB እነርሱም ስለ ተሸበሩና በፍርሃት ስለ ተዋጡ መንፈስ ያዩ መሰላቸው። BSB BSB: But they were startled and frightened, thinking they had seen a spirit.
38 ULB ኢየሱስ፣ “ለምን ትጨነቃላችሁ? ለምንስ በልባችሁ ጥያቄዎች ይነሣሉ? BSB BSB: “Why are you troubled,” Jesus asked, “and why do doubts arise in your hearts?
39 ULB እኔው ራሴ ስለ መሆኔ እጆቼንና እግሮቼን እዩ። ዳሳችሁም እዩኝ። በእኔ እንደምታዩት መንፈስ ሥጋና አጥንት የለውም" አላቸው። BSB BSB: Look at My hands and My feet. It is I Myself. Touch Me and see—for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”
40 ULB ይህን ተናግሮ እጆቹንና እግሮቹን አሳያቸው። BSB BSB: And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and feet.
41 ULB ከደስታ የተነሣ ማመን ተስኗቸው ግራ ተጋብተው ሳሉ፣ ኢየሱስ፣ “የሚበላ ጥቂት ነገር ይኖራችኋል?” አላቸው። BSB BSB: While they were still in disbelief because of their joy and amazement, He asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?”
42 ULB የተጠበሰ ዐሣ ሰጡት። BSB BSB: So they gave Him a piece of broiled fish,
43 ULB ኢየሱስም ወስዶ በፊታቸው በላው። BSB BSB: and He took it and ate it in front of them.
45 ULB ከዚያም መጻሕፍትን ይረዱ ዘንድ አእምሮአቸውን ከፈተላቸው። BSB BSB: Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.
46 ULB እንዲህ አላቸው፤ “እንግዲህ ክርስቶስ መሠቃየት፣ በሦስተኛውም ቀን ከሙታን መካከል መነሣት እንደሚገባው በመጻሕፍት ተጽፏል። BSB BSB: And He told them, “This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day,
47 ULB ደግሞም ንስሐና የኃጢአት ይቅርታ ከኢየሩሳሌም ጀምሮ ለአሕዛብ ሁሉ በስሙ መሰበክ አለበት። BSB BSB: and in His name repentance and forgiveness of sins will be proclaimed to all nations, beginning in Jerusalem.
48 ULB እናንተ የእነዚህ ነገሮች ምስክሮች ናችሁ። BSB BSB: You are witnesses of these things.
49 ULB እነሆ፣ የአባቴን ተስፋ በእናንተ ላይ እልካለሁ። ኅይልን ከላይ እስከምትቀበሉ ድረስ በዚህ ከተማ ሆናችሁ ተጠባበቁ።" BSB BSB: And behold, I am sending the promise of My Father upon you. But remain in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”
50 ULB ከዚያም ኢየሱስ ወደ ቢታንያ እስከሚቃረቡ ድረስ ይዟቸው ሄደ። እጆቹንም አነሣና ባረካቸው፤ BSB BSB: When Jesus had led them out as far as Bethany, He lifted up His hands and blessed them.
51 ULB እየባረካቸውም ሳለ ወደ ሰማይ ከፍ ከፍ አለ። BSB BSB: While He was blessing them, He left them and was carried up into heaven.
52 ULB ስለዚህ እነርሱ ሰገዱለት፣ እጅግ ደስ እያላቸውም ወደ ኢየሩሳሌም ተመለሱ። BSB BSB: And they worshiped Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,
53 ULB በቤተ መቅደስም ያለ ማቋረጥ እግዚአብሔርን ያመሰግኑ ነበር። BSB BSB: praising God continually in the temple.
