1 ULB በጨረሻም ወንድሞቼ ሆይ፥ በጌታ ደስ ይበላችሁ። ከዚህ በፊት የጻፍኩላችሁን ተመሳሳይ ነግሮች አሁንም ደግሜ ብጽፍላችሁ አይታክተኝም። እነዚህ ነገሮች እናንተን ከስሕተት ይጠብቃችኋል። BSB BSB: Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again, and it is a safeguard for you.
3 ULB እኛ በእግዚአብሔር መንፈስ የምናመልክ፤ በሥጋም የማንታመን፤ በክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ የምንታመን የተገረዝን ነን። BSB BSB: For it is we who are the circumcision, we who worship by the Spirit of God, who glory in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh—
4 ULB በሥጋ ትምክሕት የሚያስፈልግ ቢሆን እኔ በብዙ ነገር ልመካ እችል ነበረ። ማንም በሥጋ የሚመካበት አለኝ ብሎ የሚያስብ ሰው ቢኖር እኔ ከእርሱ የበለጠ የምመካበት ብዙ አለኝ። BSB BSB: though I myself could have such confidence. If anyone else thinks he has grounds for confidence in the flesh, I have more:
5 ULB እኔ በተወለድኩ በስምንተኛው ቀን ተገርዤአለሁ፤ በትውልዴም ከብንያም ነገድ የሆንኩ እስራኤላዊ ነኝ፤ ከዚህም የተነሳ ጥርት ያልኩ ዕብራዊ ነኝ። የአይሁድን ሕግ ስለ መጠበቅም ቢሆን ፈሪሳዊ ነበርኩ። BSB BSB: circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin; a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee;
6 ULB በቅንዓት ቤተ ክርስቲያን አሳድድ ነበር። ሕግን በመጠበቅ ስለ መጽደቅም ቢሆን ያለ ነቀፋ እኖር ነበር። BSB BSB: as to zeal, persecuting the church; as to righteousness in the law, faultless.
7 ULB ነገር ግን ከዚህ በፊት ጠቃሚዎች ናቸው ብዬ አምንባቸው የነበሩትን ነገሮች ሁሉ ስለ ክርስቶስ ብዬ ዋጋ እንደሌላቸው እንደ ከንቱ ነገሮች አድርጌ ቆጥሬአቸዋለሁ። BSB BSB: But whatever was gain to me I count as loss for the sake of Christ.
8 ULB በርግጥ፥ ከሁሉ ይልቅ ስለሚበልጥ ስለ ክርስቶስ ጌታዬ ዕውቀት ነገር ሁሉ ጉዳት እንዲሆን እቆጥራለሁ። ስለ እርሱም ሁሉን ነገር አጥቻለሁ። ክርስቶስንም ለማግኝትና በእርሱም ለመገኝት ስል ሁሉን ነገር እንደ ቤት ጥራጊ እቆጥራለሁ። BSB BSB: More than that, I count all things as loss compared to the surpassing excellence of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ
9 ULB እንግዲህ በሕግ ላይ የተመሠረተው የራሴ ጽድቅ የለኝም። በዚህ ፈንታ በክርስቶስ በኩል በሚገኝ እምነት የእግዚአብሔር ጽድቅ አለኝ። BSB BSB: and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God on the basis of faith.
10 ULB ይኸውም እርሱን የማወቅ ጽድቅ፤ የእርሱ የትንሣኤ ኃይልና የመከራው ተካፋይ የመሆንና በሞቱም ክርስቶስን ለመምሰል ነው። BSB BSB: I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to Him in His death,
11 ULB ደግሞም ከሙታን ትንሣኤን አገኝ ዘንድ ነው። BSB BSB: and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.
13 ULB ወንድሞች ሆይ፤እኔ ራሴ ገና እንደጨበጥኩ አልቆጥርም። ነገር ግን አንድ ነገር አደርጋለሁ፤ ይኸውም በስተኋላዬ የነበረውን እየረሰሁ በፊቴ ያለውን ለመያዝ እተጋለሉ። BSB BSB: Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,
14 ULB እግዚአብሔር በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ አማካይነት ጠርቶ ሽልማቴን ለማግኘት በፊት ወዳለው ግብ እሮጣለሁ። BSB BSB: I press on toward the goal to win the prize of God’s heavenly calling in Christ Jesus.
15 ULB ስለዚህ እኛ ብዙዎቻችን በመንፈሳዊ ሕይወት እንዳደጉ ሰዎች ነገሮችን ሁሉ ማሳብ ይኖርብናል። ደግሞ በማንኛውም ነገር የተለያየ አስተሳሰብ ቢኖራችሁ እግዚአብሔር ሁሉንም ግልጥ ያደርግላችኋል። BSB BSB: All of us who are mature should embrace this point of view. And if you think differently about some issue, God will reveal this to you as well.
16 ULB ይሁን እንጂ በደረሰንበት በዚያው ሁኔታ እንመላለስ። BSB BSB: Nevertheless, we must live up to what we have already attained.
17 ULB ወንድሞች ሆይ፥ የእኔን ምሳሌነት ተከተሉ፤ በእኛም ምሳሌነት የሚመላለሱትን ሁሉ ልብ ብላችሁ ተመልከቱ። BSB BSB: Join one another in following my example, brothers, and carefully observe those who walk according to the pattern we set for you.
18 ULB ከአሁን በፊት ብዙ ጊዜ እንደ ነገርኳችሁና አሁንም እንባዬን እያፈሰስኩ እንደምነግራችሁ ሁሉ ብዙዎቹ በአካሄዳቸው የክርስቶስ መስቀል ጠላቶች ሆነዋል። BSB BSB: For as I have often told you before, and now say again even with tears: Many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.
19 ULB የእነርሱ አምላክ ሆዳቸው ነው፤ አሳፋሪ የሆነ ነገርም ለእነርሱ ክብራቸው ነው፤ አሳባቸውም የሚያተኩረው በምድራዊ ነገር ላይ ነው ስለዚህ የእነርሱም መጨረሻ ጥፋት ነው፤ BSB BSB: Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and their glory is in their shame. Their minds are set on earthly things.
20 ULB ነገር ግን የሚመጣውን አዳኝ ጌታችንን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስን የምንጠብቅ የሰማይ መንግሥት ዜጎች ነን። BSB BSB: But our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,
21 ULB እርሱ ይህን የተዋረደውን ሰውነታችንን በመለወጥ የእርሱን ክቡር ሰውነት እንዲመስል ያደርገዋል። ይህንንም የሚያደርገው ሁሉን በሥልጣኑ ሥር ለማድረግ በሚያስችለው ኃይል ነው። BSB BSB: who, by the power that enables Him to subject all things to Himself, will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body.
