1 ULB ስለዚህ ውድ ወንድሞቼ፤ ወዳጆቼም ሆይ፤ የምናፍቃችሁ፤ ደስታዬና አክሊሎቼ የሆናችሁ በዚህ መንገድ በጌታ ጸንታችሁ ቁሙ። BSB BSB: Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, that is how you must stand firm in the Lord, my beloved.
2 ULB ኤዎድያና ሲንጢኪ እርስ በርሳቸው በጌታ ተስማምተው እንዲኖሩ እለምናቸዋለሁ። BSB BSB: I urge Euodia and Syntyche to agree with each other in the Lord.
3 ULB በርግጥ አንተም እዚያ ያለኸው የሥራ ባልደርባዬ እነዚህን ሴቶች እንድትረዳቸው እለምንሃለሁ። እነርሱም ወንጌልን በማሰራጨት ከእኔና ከቅሌምንጦስ ጋር እንዲሁም ስማቸው በሕይወት መጽሐፍ ከተጻፉት ከሌሎች የሥራ ባልደረቦቼ ጋር ብዙ ተጋድለዋል። BSB BSB: Yes, and I ask you, my true yokefellow, to help these women who have contended at my side for the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.
4 ULB ሁል ጊዜ በጌታ ደስ ይበላችሁ ደግሜም እላለሁ ደስ ይበላችሁ። BSB BSB: Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
5 ULB ደግነታችሁ በሰዎች ሁሉ ዘንድ ይታወቅ። BSB BSB: Let your gentleness be apparent to all. The Lord is near.
6 ULB ስለ ሁሉም ነገር በጸሎት፤ በልመናና በምስጋና ለእግዚአብሔር አስታውቁ እንጂ ስለምንም ነገር አትጨነቁ። ጌታ ቅርብ ነውና። BSB BSB: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
7 ULB ከማስተዋል በላይ የሆነው የእግዚአብሔር ሰላም ልባችሁንና አሳችሁን በክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ ይጠብቃል። BSB BSB: And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
9 ULB ከእኔ የተማራችሁትንና የተቀበላችሁትን፤ የሰማችሁትንና ያያችሁትን ማናቸውንም ነገር አድርጉ። የሰላምም አምላክ ከእናንተ ጋር ይሆናል። BSB BSB: Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me, put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
10 ULB እንደገና በመጨረሻ ጊዜ ለእኔ ማሰብ ስለ ጀመራችሁ በጌታ ታላቅ ደስታ ይሰማኛል። በርግጥ ከዚህ በፊት ስለ እኔ ያሰባችሁ ቢሆንም እኔን ለመርዳት ዕድሉን አላገኝችሁም ነበር። BSB BSB: Now I rejoice greatly in the Lord that at last you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it.
11 ULB ይህን የምለው ለራሴ ጥቅም አይደለም። ምክንያቱም በሁሉም ሁኔታ ባለኝ ነገር መርካትን ተምሬአለሁ። BSB BSB: I am not saying this out of need, for I have learned to be content regardless of my circumstances.
12 ULB በማጣትም ሆነ በማግኘት እንዴት መኖር እንዳለብኝ ዐውቃለሁ። በማንኛውም መንገድ የመጥገብንና የመራብን፤ የማግኝትንና የማጣትን ምሥጢር ተምሬአለሁ። BSB BSB: I know how to live humbly, and I know how to abound. In any and every situation I have learned the secret of being filled and being hungry, of having plenty and having need.
13 ULB ኃይልን በሚሰጠኝ በክርስቶስ ሁሉን ነገር ማድረግ እችላለሁ። BSB BSB: I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
14 ULB ይሁን እንጂ፤ እናንተ የችግሬ ተካፋዮች በመሆናችሁ መልካም አድርጋችኋል። BSB BSB: Nevertheless, you have done well to share in my affliction.
15 ULB እናንተ የፊልጵስዩስ ሰዎች የወንጌልን ተልዕኮ በጀመርኩበት ጊዜ ከመቄዶንያ ስወጣ ከእናንተ በቀር በመስጠትም ሆን በመቀበል ከእኔ ጋር የተባበረ ሌላ ቤተ ክርስቲያን እንዳልነበረ ታውቃላችሁ። BSB BSB: And as you Philippians know, in the early days of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church but you partnered with me in the matter of giving and receiving.
16 ULB በተሰሎንቄ በነበርኩበት ጊዜም ቢሆን ከአንድ ጊዜ በላይ ለሚያስፈልገኝ ርዳታ ልካችሁልኛል። BSB BSB: For even while I was in Thessalonica, you provided for my needs again and again.
17 ULB ይህንንም ስል የእናንተን ስጦታ ለማግኝት በመፈለግ ሳይሆን የልግሥናችሁ ፍሬ እንዲበዛላችሁ በመመኘት ነው። BSB BSB: Not that I am seeking a gift, but I am looking for the fruit that may be credited to your account.
18 ULB ሁሉንም ነገር ተቀብያለሁ፤በዝቶልኛል፤ ሞልቶልኛልም። የላካችሁልኝን ስጦታ ከኤጳፍሮዲቱስ እጅ ተቀብዬአለሁ። ይህም ስጦታ በመልካም መዓዛ እንደ ተሞላ መሥዋዕት እግዚአንሔር የሚቀበለውና ደስ የሚሰኝበት ነው። BSB BSB: I have all I need and more, now that I have received your gifts from Epaphroditus. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God.
19 ULB ደግሞም አምላኬ እንደ ክብሩ ባለጠግነቱ በክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ አማካይነት የሚያስፈልጋችሁን ሁሉ ይሰጣችኋል። BSB BSB: And my God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
20 ULB እንግዲህ ለአባታችንና ለአምላካችን ከዘለዓለም እስከ ዘለዓለም ክብር ይሁን፤ አሜን። BSB BSB: To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
21 ULB በክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ ለሆኑት ሁሉ ሰላምታ አቅርቡልኝ። ከእኔም ጋር ያሉት ወንድሞች ሰላምታ ያቀርቡላችሁኋል። BSB BSB: Greet all the saints in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me send you greetings.
22 ULB እዚህ ያሉት አማኞች ሁሉ በተለይም የሮማ ቤተ መንግሥት ያሉ ሠራተኞች ሰላምታ ያቀርቡላችኋል። BSB BSB: All the saints send you greetings, especially those from the household of Caesar.
23 ULB የጌታ የኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ጸጋ ከመንፈሳችሁ ጋር ይሁን። BSB BSB: The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
