1. 1ULBበሴቶች መካከል እጅግ የተዋብሽዋ ሆይ፥ ውድሽ ወዴት ሄደ? ካንቺ ጋር እንድንፈልገው ውድሽ የሄደው በየትኛው አቅጣጫ ነው? ወጣቷ ለራሷ ስትናገር፥BSBBSB: Where has your beloved gone, O most beautiful among women? Which way has he turned? We will seek him with you.
2. 2ULBበአትክልቱ ሥፍራ መንጋውን ሊያሠማራ፥ አበቦችንም ሊሰበስብ፥ ውዴ ወደ አትክልቱ ሥፍራ፥ ወደ ቅመማ ቅመሞቹ መደቦች ወርዷል።BSBBSB: My beloved has gone down to his garden, to the beds of spices, to pasture his flock in the gardens and to gather lilies.
3. 3ULBእኔ የውዴ ነኝ፥ ውዴም የእኔ ነው፤ በአበቦቹ መካከል መንጋውን በደስታ ያሰማራል። የሴቲቱ አፍቃሪ እንዲህ ይላታል፥BSBBSB: I belong to my beloved and he belongs to me; he pastures his flock among the lilies.
4. 4ULBውዴ ሆይ፥ እንደ ቴርሳ ቆንጆ ነሽ፥ እንደ ኢየሩሳሌም ውብ ነሽ፥ ሰንደቁን እንደያዘ ሠራዊት ታስፈሪያለሽ።BSBBSB: You are as beautiful, my darling, as Tirzah, as lovely as Jerusalem, as majestic as troops with banners.
5. 5ULBአድክመውኛልና ዓይኖችሽን ከእኔ መልሺ። ፀጉርሽ ከገለዓድ ተራራ ቁልቁል የሚወርደውን የፍየል መንጋ ይመስላል።BSBBSB: Turn your eyes away from me, for they have overcome me. Your hair is like a flock of goats streaming down from Gilead.
6. 6ULBጥርሶችሽ ከመታጠቢያ ሥፍራቸው የሚመጡትን የሴት በግ መንጋ ይመስላሉ። እያንዳንዱ መንታ ወልዷል፥ በመካከላቸውም መካን የለም።BSBBSB: Your teeth are like a flock of sheep coming up from the washing; each has its twin, and not one of them is lost.
7. 7ULBበመሸፈኛሽ ውስጥ ጉንጮችሽ ለሁለት የተከፈለ ሮማን ይመስላሉ። የሴቲቱ አፍቃሪ ለራሱ ሲናገር፥BSBBSB: Your brow behind your veil is like a slice of pomegranate.
8. 8ULBስልሳ ንግሥቶች፥ ሰማንያ ቁባቶች፥ ሥፍር ቁጥር የሌላቸው ልጃገረዶች አሉ።BSBBSB: There are sixty queens and eighty concubines, and maidens without number,
9. 9ULBእርግቤ፥ እንከን የሌለባት፥ ብቸኛዋ ናት፤ ለእናቷ ልዩ ልጅ፥ ለወለደቻት ሴትም የተመረጠች ነች። የሀገሬ ሴቶች ልጆች አይተው የተባረክሽ ነሽ አሏት፤ ንግሥቶችና ቁባቶችም ደግሞ አይተው አመሰገኗት፤ ንግሥቶቹና ቁባቶቹ እንዲህ አሏት፦BSBBSB: but my dove, my perfect one, is unique, the favorite of the mother who bore her. The maidens see her and call her blessed; the queens and concubines sing her praises.
10. 10ULBየንጋት ብርሃን መስላ የምትወጣ፥ እንደ ጨረቃ ያማረች፥ እንደ ፀሐይ ያበራች፥ ሰንደቅ እንደ ያዘ ሠራዊት የምታስፈራ ይህቺ ማን ናት? የሴቲቱ አፍቃሪ ለራሱ ሲናገር፥BSBBSB: Who is this who shines like the dawn, as fair as the moon, as bright as the sun, as majestic as the stars in procession?
11. 11ULBበሸለቆው ውስጥ አዲስ የበቀለውን ለማየት፥ ወይኑ አፍርቶ እንደሆነ፥ ሮማኑም አብቦ እንደሆነ ለማየት፥ የለውዝ ተክል ወዳለበት ጥሻ ወረድሁ።BSBBSB: I went down to the walnut grove to see the blossoms of the valley, to see if the vines were budding or the pomegranates were in bloom.
12. 12ULBበልዑሉ ሠረገላ እንደ ተቀመጥኩ ስለ ተሰማኝ፥ በጣም ደስ አለኝ። የሴቲቱ አፍቃሪ እንዲህ ይላል፥BSBBSB: Before I realized it, my desire had set me among the royal chariots of my people.
13. 13ULBአንቺ ፍጹሟ ሴት፥ ተመለሽ፥ ተመለሽ፤ አተኩሬ እንዳይሽ ተመለሽ፥ እባክሽ ተመለሽ። ወጣቷ ሴት ፍቅረኛዋን እንዲህ ትለዋለች፥ በሁለት ረድፍ ጨፋሪዎች መካከል የምጨፍር ይመስል፥ ፍጹሟን ሴት ለምን ትክ ብለህ ታየኛለህ?BSBBSB: Come back, come back, O Shulammite! Come back, come back, that we may gaze upon you. Why do you look at the Shulammite, as on the dance of Mahanaim?
