1 ARST بما أنَّ المسيح يشجِّعنا، وبما أنَّه يعزّينا بمحبَّته، وبما أنَّ الروح أوجد شركةً بينكم ، وبما أنَّ الله يمنحكم رحمةً ورأفةً تجاه بعضكم بعضٍ ، BSB BSB: Therefore if you have any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any affection and compassion,
2 ARST فأسعدوني بالكامل بأن تفعلوا الأشياء التالية: اتَّفقوا بعضكم مع بعضٍ، أحبُّوا بعضكم بعضًا، وكونوا متَّحدين بعضكم مع بعضٍ بشكل وثيق، وكونوا متَّحدين في تفكيركم. BSB BSB: then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being united in spirit and purpose.
3 ARST لا تحاولوا أبدًا أن تجعلوا أنفسكم بطريقة أنانيَّة أكثر أهمِّيَّة من الآخرين، ولا تعتقدوا أنَّكم أفضل من الآخرين. بل كونوا متواضعين، وعاملوا الآخرين وكأنَّهم أكثر أهمِّيَّة من أنفسكم. BSB BSB: Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves.
4 ARST يجب ألَّا يهتمَّ كلُّ واحد منكم باحتياجاته فقط، بل يجب أن تهتمُّوا أيضًا بالآخرين وباحتياجاتهم. BSB BSB: Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
6 ARST مع أنَّه كان يشبه الله في كلِّ شيء، إلَّا أنَّه لم يتمسَّك بجميع الامتيازات من كونه مساويًا لله. BSB BSB: Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7 ARST بل تنازل عن امتيازاته الإلهيَّة، وصار عبدًا للآخرين، وصار إنسانًا. عندما صار إنسانًا، BSB BSB: but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness.
8 ARST تواضع أكثر، وبالتحديد، تواضع ، بأن أطاع الله إلى الحدِّ الذي كان فيه مستعدًّا لأن يموت. أراد حتَّى أن يموت بأن يُصلب على صليب. BSB BSB: And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross.
11 ARST وسيقول كل ُّفمٍ، بأنَّ يسوع المسيح هو الربّ، حتَّى يتمجَّد الله الآب. BSB BSB: and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12 ARST نتيجة لهذه الأشياء، يا رفاقي المؤمنين الأحبَّاء، كما أطعتم الله دائمًا وأنا معكم، الآن وأنا بعيد عنكم، يجب أن تطيعوه أكثر. كلُّ واحد منكم يعمل مع الله في عمله المخلِّص فيكم، ويفعل هذا بطريقة متواضعة يوقِّر الله. BSB BSB: Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now even more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
13 ARST لأنَّ الله يعمل شيئًا في دواخلكم، ليجعلكم ترغبون -ومن ثمَّ تعملون بالفعل- الأشياء الصالحة التي تُرضيه. BSB BSB: For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose.
14 ARST افعلوا كلَّ شيء من دون أن تتذمَّروا أو تجادلوا. BSB BSB: Do everything without complaining or arguing,
15 ARST تصرَّفوا بتلك الطريقة لكي تكونوا بلا عيب تمامًا، أبناء الله، الذين تبتعدون عن كلِّ شيء شرِّير بينما تعيشون بين الناس الأشرار في هذا العالم. ومن ثمَّ وأنتم تعيشون بينهم، ستكونون مميَّزين وتضيئون في ظلمة الخطيئة. BSB BSB: so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine as lights in the world
16 ARST أخبروا الآخرين بالرسالة عن كيفيَّة الحصول على حياة أبديَّة. افعلوا كلَّ هذه الأشياء لكي أستطيع أن أبتهج في الوقت الذي يعود فيه المسيح لأنَّني لم أجهد نفسي بينكم عبثًا. BSB BSB: as you hold forth the word of life, in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.
17 ARST أنا فَرِح وسأبتهج معكم رغم أنَّني أتألَّم يوميًّا أو أختبر أوقاتًا عندما يحاول أولئك الذين يعارضون بشارة الإنجيل أن يقتلوني. سأتألَّم معكم بكلِّ سرور وأضيف على خدمتكم التي تقدِّمونها لأنَّكم تؤمنون به. BSB BSB: But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you.
18 ARST بنفس الطريقة أيضًا، يجب أن يفرح كلُّ واحد منكم بهذه الأشياء، يجب أن تفرحوا معي أيضًا! BSB BSB: So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.
19 ARST أرجو أن يسمح لي الربُّ يسوع أن أرسل إليكم تيموثاوس ليزوركم قريبًا، أريده أن يزوركم لأنَّني أرجو أن يتمكَّن من أن يشجِّعني عندما يعود بأخبار عنكم. BSB BSB: Now I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered when I learn how you are doing.
20 ARST فلا أحد عندي مثل تيموثاوس يهتمُّ حقًّا بأمركم. BSB BSB: I have nobody else like him who will genuinely care for your needs.
21 ARST لأنَّ جميع الآخرين الذين يمكن أن أرسلهم إليكم يهتمّون فقط بأمورهم الخاصَّة، ولا يهتمُّون بشكل كافٍ بما يعتبره يسوع المسيح مهمًّا. BSB BSB: For all the others look after their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.
22 ARST لكنَّكم تعرفون أنَّ تيموثاوس أثبت أنَّه يخدم الربَّ والآخرين بطريقة أمينة، وتعرفون أنَّه خدم الربَّ معي بشكل وثيق بأن أعلن الخبر السارَّ للآخرين. BSB BSB: But you know Timothy’s proven worth, that as a child with his father he has served with me to advance the gospel.
23 ARST أرجو أن أرسل تيموثاوس إليكم حالما أعرف ماذا سيحدث لي. BSB BSB: So I hope to send him as soon as I see what happens with me.
24 ARST وأنا واثق في أنَّ الربَّ سيسمح لي بأن أخرج قريبًا حتَّى آتي أنا أيضًا إليكم. BSB BSB: And I trust in the Lord that I myself will come soon.
25 ARST قد عرفتُ أنَّه من الضروريِّ أن أُعيد إليكم أَبَفرُودِتُسَ، إنَّه رفيقي في الإيمان ورفيقي في العمل، وهو يحتمل الصعاب معي تمامًا كما يحتمل الجنود الصعاب معًا. إنَّه رسولكم وخادمكم الذي أرسلتموه ليعينني عندما كنت محتاجًا. BSB BSB: But I thought it necessary to send back to you Epaphroditus, my brother, fellow worker, and fellow soldier, who is also your messenger and minister to my needs.
26 ARST يرغب أَبَفرُودِتُسَ بشدَّةٍ أن يكون معكم في فيلبِّي، وهو مهتمٌّ لأمركم من أن تقلقوا عليه لأنَّكم سمعتم أنَّه مريض. BSB BSB: For he has been longing for all of you and is distressed because you heard he was ill.
27 ARST نعم، لقد كان مريضًا جدًّا حتَّى أنَّه كاد أن يموت، لكنَّ الله أشفق عليه، وأشفق عليَّ أيضًا، ونتيجةً لذلك شفاه . أشفق عليَّ الله لكيلا أحزن أكثر. BSB BSB: He was sick indeed, nearly unto death. But God had mercy on him, and not only on him but also on me, to spare me sorrow upon sorrow.
28 ARST لذلك أعيده إليكم بأكبر سرعةٍ ممكنة، سأفعل هذا لكي تفرحوا عندما ترونه من جديد، ولكي يقلُّ حزني. BSB BSB: Therefore I am all the more eager to send him, so that when you see him again you may rejoice, and I may be less anxious.
29 ARST استقبلوا أَبَفرُودِتُسَ بفرح كمؤمن شريك لكم، وأكرموا المؤمنين الآخرين الذين مثله، BSB BSB: Welcome him in the Lord with great joy, and honor men like him,
30 ARST افعلوا هذا لأنَّه عندما كان أَبَفرُودِتُسَ يعمل لأجل المسيح، كاد أن يموت. عرف أنَّه قد يموت، لأنَّه يساعدني، وكاد بالفعل أن يموت. أعانني لأحصل على الأشياء التي أحتاج إليها، وهذا شيء ما كان بإمكانكم أن تفعلوه لأنَّكم بعيدون عنِّي. BSB BSB: because he nearly died for the work of Christ, risking his life to make up for your deficit of service to me.
