1. 1ARSTثُمَّ رأيتُ في الرؤيا ملاَكًا آخر قويًّا نازلًا مِنَ السماءِ. أحاطت به سحابة، وكان هناك قوس قُزح فوق رأسه. أشرقَ وجههُ مثلَ الشمس، وتوهّجت رِجلاهُ كعمودَين من نار.BSBBSB: Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head. His face was like the sun, and his legs were like pillars of fire.
2. 2ARSTكانت في يده مخطوطة مفتوحة. وَضَعَ رِجله الْيُمنى على الْمُحِيطِ ورجله اليسرى على اليَابسةِ.BSBBSB: He held in his hand a small scroll, which lay open. He placed his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land.
3. 3ARSTوصاح بصوت عالٍ كصوت زئير الأسد، ولمّا صاح، سمعتُ سبعة رعود. كان في الرعد كلمات استطعت أن أفهمها.BSBBSB: Then he cried out in a loud voice like the roar of a lion. And when he cried out, the seven thunders sounded their voices.
4. 4ARSTوكنت على وشك أن أكتب ما قاله الرعد. لكنّ صوتٌ من السماء قال لي: «أبقِ ما قالته الرعود سرًّا! لا تكتبه!»BSBBSB: When the seven thunders had spoken, I was about to put it in writing. But I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.”
5. 5ARSTثمّ رفع الملاك الذي رأيته واقفًا على البحر واليابسة يده اليمنى نحو السماء لكي يُقسم،BSBBSB: Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to heaven.
6. 6ARSTوطلب من الله الحيّ إلى أبد الآبدين والذي خلق كلّ ما هو موجود، أن يؤكّد أنّ ما قاله كان صحيحًا. قال الملاك إنّ الله لن يتأخّر بعد ذلك في أن يفعل ما قد خطّط لهُ،BSBBSB: And he swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and everything in it, the earth and everything in it, and the sea and everything in it: “There will be no more delay!
7. 7ARSTقال إنّه عندما يحين الوقت الذي ينفخ فيه الملاك السابع في بوقه، فإنّ الله سيُنهي خطّته السرّيّة. هذا ما قاله الله لعبيده الأنبياء منذ زمن بعيد. 8ثُمَّ كلَّمَني الصوت الذي كنت قد سَمِعتهُ مِنَ السماء مرّةً أخرى، فقَالَ: «اذهَبْ وَخُذِ المخطوطة المَفتوحة مِن يد المَلاكِ الواقف على المحيطِ وعلى الأَرضِ».BSBBSB: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he begins to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be fulfilled, just as He proclaimed to His servants the prophets.”
8. 9ARSTفَذهبتُ إِلى الملاك وسأَلتهُ أَن يعطينِي المخطوطة. فَقَالَ لِي: «خُذها فكُلها. عندما تأكلهُا سيكون مذاقها حلوًا كالعسل، ولكن بعد أن تأكلهُا ستؤلمك معدتك».BSBBSB: And I went to the angel and said, “Give me the small scroll.” “Take it and eat it,” he said. “It will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.”
9. 10ARSTفأخذت المخطوطة من يد الملاك وأكلتها. فلمَّا أكلتها كَانَ مذاقها حُلْوًا كَالْعَسَلِ، وَلَكِنْ بَعدَ أن أكلتها آلَمَتْني مَعِدتي.BSBBSB: So I took the small scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach turned bitter.
10. 11ARSTثُمَّ قال لي أحدهم: «يجب أن تتكلّم برسائل الله مرّةً أخرى عن أمم كثيرة وجماعات كثيرة من الناس والمتحدّثين بلغات كثيرة وملوك كثيرين».BSBBSB: And they told me, “You must prophesy again about many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.”
