1 ARST ثُمَّ أَعطاني مَلاك قصبةً تُشبه عَصَا القياس. وقال لي الربّ: «اذهب إلى هيكلي، وقِسْهُ والمذبح الذي فيه، وعُدَّ الناس الذين يتعبَّدون فيه. BSB BSB: Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the number of worshipers there.
2 ARST ولكن لا تقس الساحة التي خارج مبنى الهيكل. لقد أعطيتها لجماعات الشعب غير اليَهُوديَّة، ونتيجةً لذلك، سوف يضطهدون الناس الذين يعيشون في مدينة أورشليم مدّة 42 شهرًا. BSB BSB: But exclude the courtyard outside the temple. Do not measure it, because it has been given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for 42 months.
3 ARST سأرسل شاهدين ليُعلنا ما أُعلنه أنا لهم مُدَّة 1,260 يومًا. وسيُظهران حزنهما على خطيئة الناس بأن يلبسوا ثياب خشنة نسجها أحد ما من شعر الماعز». BSB BSB: And I will empower my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”
4 ARST هذان الشاهدان هما اللذان تمثّلهما شجرتا الزيتون ومنارتان. هاتان الشجرتان والمنارتان هما في حضرة الربّ الذي يحكم الأرض. BSB BSB: These witnesses are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.
5 ARST والآن إذا حاول أحد أن يؤذي هذين الشاهدين، فإنّهما يُخرِجان نارًا من أفواههما ويحرقانه. بهذه الطريقة سيقتُل الشاهدان بالتأكيد كلّ من يريد إيذاءهما. BSB BSB: If anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouths and devours their enemies. In this way, anyone who wants to harm them must be killed.
6 ARST سيكون لهذين الشاهدين سلطان أن يأمرا بألّا تُمطر السماء خلال الوقت الذي يعلنان فيه ما يوحيه الله إليهما. سيكون لديهما أيضًا سلطان أن يجعلا مياه البحيرات والجداول تصبح دمًا. سيكون لديهما أيضًا سلطان أن يحدثا أنواعًا كثيرة من الأوبئة على الأرض. سيفعلان هذه الأشياء عندما يشعران أنّ هذا سيؤكّد رسالتهما بأنّها من الله. BSB BSB: These witnesses have power to shut the sky so that no rain will fall during the days of their prophecy, and power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they wish.
7 ARST لكن عندما ينتهيان من أن يعلنا رسالتهما بأنّها من الله، سيهاجمهما الوحش الذي سيخرج من الحفرة العميقة المظلمة. سيهزمهما الوحش ويقتلهما. BSB BSB: When the two witnesses have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will wage war with them, and will overpower and kill them.
8 ARST الآن كان الشاهدان يعلنان رسالة الله في المدينة العظيمة التي يدعونها الناس برمزيّة، بسدوم لأنّ أهلها أشرار جدًّا، ويدعو الناس تلك المدينة أيضًا بمصر لأنّ أهلها يعاملون شعب الله بشكل سيّئ، وفي المدينة التي كان يخدم فيها الشاهدان أيضًا، مات يسوع على الصليب، وليُهينوا الشاهدَين، فإنّ أهل المدينة لن يدفنوا جثَّتيهما. سيتركون جثَّتيهما مُلقتين في المنطقة المفتوحة للمدينة، BSB BSB: Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city—figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where their Lord was also crucified.
9 ARST وسينظر أفراد من العديد من جماعات الشعوب والقبائل واللغات المختلفة إلى جثّتيْهما لثلاثة أيّام ونصف. لكنّ أهل المدينة لن يسمحوا لأحد بأن يدفنوا جثّتيهما. BSB BSB: For three and a half days all peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will view their bodies and will not permit them to be laid in a tomb.
10 ARST عندما يرى الناس الذين لا يكرّمون الله أنّ الشاهدَين قد ماتا، سيفرحون جدًّا ويحتفلون. حتّى أنّهم سيرسلون الهدايا بعضهم لبعض ليحتفلوا. سيكونون سعداء لأنّ النبيّين اللذين أرسلا الأوبئة التي جعلتهم يعانون، قد ماتا، BSB BSB: And those who dwell on the earth will gloat over them and celebrate and send one another gifts, because these two prophets had tormented them.
11 ARST ولكن بعد ثلاثة أيّام ونصف، سيحيهما الله مرّةً أخرى. لن يكونا ميّتين فيما بعد وسيقومان. سيرتعب الناس الذين سيرونهما حيّين مرّةً أخرى. BSB BSB: But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered the two witnesses, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell upon those who saw them.
12 ARST ثُمَّ يسمَع الشاهِدان صوتًا عظيمًا من السماءِ يَقول لهُما «اصعدا إلى ههنا!» ثُمَّ يصعدان إِلى السماءِ فِي سحابَةٍ. وسيُشاهدهُما أعداؤهما يَصعَدان. BSB BSB: And the witnesses heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud as their enemies watched them.
13 ARST في ذلك الوقت ذاته سيحدث زلزال عظيم، ونتيجةً لذلك ستنهار عُشر المباني في المدينة. سيقتل ذلك 7,000 شخص، وسيخاف باقي الشعب كثيرًا ويعترفون أنّ الإله الحقيقيّ قد عاقبهم بعدلٍ لأنّهم قتلوا الشاهدَين. BSB BSB: And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand were killed in the quake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 ARST سيكون هذا هو الحدث الفظيع الثاني. اعلموا أنّ الحدث الفظيع الثالث سيحدث بعد ذلك بوقت قصير. BSB BSB: The second woe has passed. Behold, the third woe is coming shortly.
15 ARST ثمّ نفخ الملاك السابع في بوقه، فصرخت أصوات في السماء بصوت عالٍ: «سيحكم الآن الربّ إلهنا والمسيح الذي عيّنه، جميع الناس في العالم! وسيستمرّان في أن يحكما جميع الناس إلى الأبد!» BSB BSB: Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and loud voices called out in heaven: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.”
16 ARST وانحنى الشيوخ الـ 24 الجالسون على العروش حول عرش الله ووجوههم إلى الأرض وسجدوا له، BSB BSB: And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God,
17 ARST قائلين: «نشكرك أيُّها الربُّ الإله، أنتَ الذي تحكم كلَّ شيء! أنت الكائن! والباقي إلى الأبد! لأنّك هزمت بقوّة كلّ من تمرّد عليك، وأنت الآن تحكم جميع الناس في العالم. BSB BSB: saying: “We give thanks to You, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign.
18 ARST كانت الشعوب غير المؤمنة من الأمم هائجة عليك بشكل غاضب. ونتيجة لذلك، عاقَبتَهُم. لقد قرَّرتَ أنَّ هذا هو الوقت المناسب لتدين جميع الذين ماتوا. إنّك تكافئ عبيدك الذين تكلّموا برسالتك والناس الذين ينتمون إليك، إنّك تكافئ كلّ الذين يكرّمونك أيًّا كانوا. لقد قرَّرتَ أنّ الوقت قد حان لكي تُهلك الناس الذين كانوا يدمِّرون الأرض». BSB BSB: The nations were enraged, and Your wrath has come. The time has come to judge the dead and to reward Your servants the prophets, as well as the saints and those who fear Your name, both small and great—and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”
19 ARST ثمّ فتح الله أبواب هيكله في السماء، ورأيت فيه الصندوق المقدّس الذي يحتوي على رموز وعد الله. كان البرق يومض، وسمعتُ الرعد يدوّي. اهتزَّت الأرض، وسقطت حبّات بَرَدٍ كبيرة من السماء. BSB BSB: Then the temple of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple. And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.
