1 PBDK Ulah gana kami karasa bahwa jika kemah, uneng muneng takam ta bumi iti na santumbang, takam memiliki erang kawua bangunan nake Allah Talla, erang ke wua lewu sa bakoi na ulah makai tangan, sa kekal ta surga. BSB BSB: For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is dismantled, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.
2 PBDK Salawah takam naan huang kemah ina, takam mengeluh ulah takam rindu mat makai uneng muneng ta surgawi takam. BSB BSB: For in this tent we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling,
3 PBDK Ulah, ketika takam ma makai e, takam bakoi lagi na panalu mapoloi. BSB BSB: because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked.
4 PBDK Salawah takam naan muneng huang kemah iti, takam mengeluh dan terbebani ulah takam bakoi hamen mapoloi melainkan bapakaian supaya sa fana hio na telen ulah welum. BSB BSB: For while we are in this tent, we groan under our burdens, because we do not wish to be unclothed but clothed, so that our mortality may be swallowed up by life.
5 PBDK Rahat ina, Aye sa mempersiapkan takam mat ga tujuan ina adalah Allah Talla, sa ngami Roh mat gi takam sebagai jaminan. BSB BSB: And it is God who has prepared us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a pledge of what is to come.
6 PBDK Ulah hio, kami selalu tabah dan menyadari bahwa ketika kami naan ta lewu huang tenga ina, kami naan ta luar Tuhan. BSB BSB: Therefore we are always confident, although we know that while we are at home in the body, we are away from the Lord.
7 PBDK Ulah, kami welum ulah iman bakoi ulah pangindian. BSB BSB: For we walk by faith, not by sight.
9 PBDK Ulah gana hio, kami berusaha mat kami berkenan mat gi Aye, inon kami muneng ta lewu iti atawa naan muneng ta luar. BSB BSB: So we aspire to please Him, whether we are at home in this body or away from it.
10 PBDK Ulah, takam kaluhan harus na tampahadap ta hadaoan kursi pengadilan Kristus mat erang ulun kaiyuh narime waleng hal-hal sa na lakukan huang tenga e, sesuai nihi inon sa haot na lakukane, entah hio maeh atawa jahat. BSB BSB: For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive his due for the things done in the body, whether good or bad.
11 PBDK Ulah gana kami karasaarti e takuk akan Tuhan, maka kami meyakinkan ulun lain. Namu, kami haot nyata gi Allah Talla dan aku berharap nyata pudi bagi atei nurani nu. BSB BSB: Therefore, since we know what it means to fear the Lord, we try to persuade men. What we are is clear to God, and I hope it is clear to your conscience as well.
12 PBDK Kami bakoi ba usaha lagi memuji-muji diri kami mat ga hanyu, tetapi kami ngami ga hanyu kesempatan mat bangga terhadap kami. Nihi kalahio, hanyu akan naan jawaban mat here sa bangga hambau hal-hal lahirian dan bakoi atas inon sa naan huang atei. BSB BSB: We are not commending ourselves to you again. Instead, we are giving you an occasion to be proud of us, so that you can answer those who take pride in appearances rather than in the heart.
13 PBDK Jika kami bakoi jadi diri kami, hal hio adalah mat gi Allah Talla. Jika kami jari diri kami, hal hio adalah mat gi kepentingan nu. BSB BSB: If we are out of our mind, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you.
14 PBDK Ulah Kasih Kristus menguasai kami katika kami menyimpulkan bahwa jika isa ka ulun matei mat ga kaluhan ulun, maka here kaluhan matei. BSB BSB: For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that One died for all, therefore all died.

BSB BSB: And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and was raised again.

Meskipun kami pahindra mengenal Kristus secara lahirih, tetapi wayah ina kami bakoi lagi menilai E sameh hio. BSB BSB: So from now on we regard no one according to the flesh. Although we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.
17 PBDK Jari, hie sa naan ta huang Kristus, aye adalah ciptaan bio. Hal-hal sa lawas haot berlalu, indilah, hal-hal sa bio haot hawi. BSB BSB: Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!
20 PBDK Jari, kami adalah duta-duta Kristus. Allah Talla menunjukkan panggilan E mitah kami. Kami bapaner ga hanyu demi Kristus, amilah diri nu naperdamaikan ihi Allah Talla. BSB BSB: Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ: Be reconciled to God.
