PBDK Jadi, inonkah sa mat na antuh takam tentang Abraham, amah leluhur takam menurut lunek? BSB BSB: What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, has discovered?
PBDK Ulah jaka Abraham na santou mitah ulahan e, aye naan alasan mat bermegah, tatapi bakoi ga muka Allah Talla. BSB BSB: If Abraham was indeed justified by works, he had something to boast about, but not before God.
PBDK Ga ulun sa bagawi, upa sa na ami ga here bakoi suatu hadiah, melainkan hak here. BSB BSB: Now the wages of the worker are not credited as a gift, but as an obligation.
PBDK Dan, ga sa bakoi bagawi, tatapi percaya ga Allah sa nyantaou ulun fasik, iman here na reken sebagau suatu katou. BSB BSB: However, to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness.
PBDK Bahkan Daud pun ngantuh kala awe na berkati e ulun ketika Allah nanreken katou ga aye koi memandang hal-hal sa haot na ulah e: BSB BSB: And David speaks likewise of the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:
PBDK "Berbahagialah ulun sa na ampuni kahala-kahala e, nihi sa na tutupi dosa-dosa e. BSB BSB: “Blessed are they whose lawless acts are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
PBDK Berbahagialah ulun-ulun sa dosa e koi nahanreken ulah Tuhan!" Mazmur 32:1-2! BSB BSB: Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him.”
PBDK Inonkah berkat ina ekat ga ulun sa basunat? Atawa lei ga ulun sa bakoi basunat? Ulah kami haot ngantuh bahwa "Imam Abraham nareken sameh katou." BSB BSB: Is this blessing only on the circumcised, or also on the uncircumcised? We have been saying that Abraham’s faith was credited to him as righteousness.
PBDK Balalu, kala awe hio na reken ga aye? Samete atau sahaot aye na sunat? Bakoi udi aye na sunat, melainkan samete aye na sunat. BSB BSB: In what context was it credited? Was it after his circumcision, or before? It was not after, but before.
PBDK Abraham narime tanda sunat sebagai meterai katou iman samete aye nasunat suapay aye kaiyuh jari amah ga kaluhan ulun percaya sa koi basunat sehingga katou hio lei nahanreken ga here; BSB BSB: And he received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. So then, he is the father of all who believe but are not circumcised, in order that righteousness might be credited to them.
PBDK sekaligus jari amah bagi ulun-ulun basunar sa koi ekat bersunat tatapi lei takia huang lalan iman sa suah na itah ulah amah takam, Abraham, samete aye na sunat. Abraham Narime Janji Allah Mitah Iman e. BSB BSB: And he is also the father of the circumcised who not only are circumcised, but who also walk in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.
PBDK Janji ga Abraham dan ga keturunan e bahwa here mat kaampun kaluhan bumi koi akan natampenu mitah Hukum Taurat, tapi mitah katou iman. BSB BSB: For the promise to Abraham and his offspring that he would be heir of the world was not given through the law, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.
PBDK Ulah, jaka here sa baasal neke Hukum Taurat iyuh jari ahli waris, maka iman jari sia-sia dan janji Allah nabatalkan; BSB BSB: For if those who live by the law are heirs, faith is useless and the promise is worthless,
PBDK Ulah Hukum Taurat nuna karikang, tatapi jaka bakoi naan Hukum Taurat, maka ta hio lei koi naan pelanggaran. BSB BSB: because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law, there is no transgression.
PBDK Inalah wa inon janji hio baasal neke iman, supaya janji hio berdasarkan kasih karunia sehingga janji hio lei hampe ga kaluhan keturunan Abraham; bakoi ekat sa baasal neke Hukum Taurat, tatapi lei sa baasal neke iman Abraham, sa adalah amah takam kaluhan, BSB BSB: Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may rest on grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.
PBDK (sameh sa natulis, "Aku haot nyajanji hanyu amah ga ajoh bangsa") ta hadapan Allah, sa aye percayai, aye hio Allah sa ngami pamelum ga ulun matei dan sa ngantuh eha sa mete naan jadi naan. BSB BSB: As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the presence of God, in whom he believed, the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being what does not yet exist.
PBDK Huang pengharapan ta entu pengharapan aye percaya sehingga aye tau jari amah neke ajoh bangsa sesuai di sa haot na antuh, "Akan jari sameh hio lah keturunan nu." BSB BSB: Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as he had been told, “So shall your offspring be.”
PBDK Dan, di bakoi jari maleme huang iman, meskipun aye karasa tenga e karaerai ane matei ulah umur e kira-kira 100 tahun dan rahim Sara lei haot matei; BSB BSB: Without weakening in his faith, he acknowledged the decrepitness of his body (since he was about a hundred years old) and the lifelessness of Sarah’s womb.
PBDK aye bakoi na bimbangkan terhadap janji Allah ulah kebakoi percaya e. Samaeh e, iman e natangkuat sehingga aye ngami kemuliaan ga Allah, BSB BSB: Yet he did not waver through disbelief in the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,
PBDK dan merasa yakin bahwa Allah berkuasa ngulah inon sa haot na janji-E. BSB BSB: being fully persuaded that God was able to do what He had promised.
PBDK Ulah hio lah, iman e "nareken sebagai katou." BSB BSB: This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.”
PBDK Namun, hal hio koi ekat na tulis demi kepentingan Abraham bo, BSB BSB: Now the words “it was credited to him” were written not only for Abraham,
PBDK tetapi lei bagi takam. Hal hio akan na hanreken ga here sa percaya ga Aye sa namuan Yesus, Tuhan takam, teke helang ulun matei, BSB BSB: but also for us, to whom righteousness will be credited—for us who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.
PBDK Aye hio, Yesus sa haot naserahkan mat matei ulah dosa takam, nihi sa haot na tamuan demi nyantou takam. BSB BSB: He was delivered over to death for our trespasses and was raised to life for our justification.
