1. 1BSWEኡሱ ጎራታ እባዶ የሱሳ ቶስ ኤመተጉረ፥ ጲላጦሳ ኢግክሶ ጃርሶክሶነ ዎታ ማንኮለደራን ማራን ካጋሊላ እባዶኮክ ጋራ ካአዬሰረ እባዶ ኤሰ ግረ።BSBBSB: At that time some of those present told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.
2. 2BSWEየሱሳና ሃ አመ እሶን አባበ፥ “ሀያ ሂኒዕ ኦጋሊላ እባዶጃ ሂክ አቦሳ እሶ ካኮንጌገራ ካካለ ካጋሊላ እባዶኮ ሮሬነ ጩባለሳ ማንኮሌን ማራን ኣን ላራ?BSBBSB: To this He replied, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered this way?
3. 3BSWEላኮዮ አን እስኑን ሃ አማራ፥ ጩቦኮ ጉላ ጋላናጎዋተን ዱባና ሂካማሌ ባይናታን።BSBBSB: No, I tell you. But unless you repent, you too will all perish.
4. 4BSWEጎርቱን አደ ኡል ካሰልሆሚ ግምበ ዲጋመረ ካጎየረ እባዶ ቶሞንኮ ስዴድ ኢየሩሳለም ካግሮ እባዶ ዱባንኮ ጩባለሳ ማንኮሌን ማራን ኣን ላራ?BSBBSB: Or those eighteen who were killed when the tower of Siloam collapsed on them: Do you think that they were more sinful than all the others living in Jerusalem?
5. 5BSWEላኮዮ፥ አን እስኑን ሃ አማራ፥ ጩቦኮ ጉላ ጋላናጎዋተን ዱባና ሂካማሌ ባይናታን።”BSBBSB: No, I tell you. But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”
6. 6BSWEአደና የሱሳ ሃ አማ ሂካ ማሱሳ አዬሰ፥ “እባዶት ኮዉን እራ ካዎይንኮት ባንኤ ካአባራመረ ኮ ካባላስ ጋትት ግረ። ኡሱና ኢል ኡሱኮ ዶታዪን ኤመተረ ኮና ላኮሄላተረ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus told this parable: “A man had a fig tree that was planted in his vineyard. He went to look for fruit on it but did not find any.
7. 7BSWEካዎይኒ አካክልተ ካፈላራና፥ ‘ሂክማ፥ ኢል ዶታይ ሄላይን ጌስ ሴድ ሂካ ጋ ካባላስ ቶስ አን ኤሜየረ ኢል ላኮሄላየሮ፥ ሃንሱን ጎስ፥ መዉን ኤሬኮ ኡንጃነ አዳ. ጡቃታ?’ አመ።BSBBSB: So he said to the keeper of the vineyard, ‘Look, for the past three years I have come to search for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Therefore cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’
8. 8BSWE‘ካፈላረና አደ፤ ጎታ! ማራሙርስ ታ ቆሽሮና ኮሲ ታክብሮ ሂካ ጌስ ካላሉን ኢሳግ።BSBBSB: ‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone again this year, until I dig around it and fertilize it.
9. 9BSWEጌስ ካኤሜታሮ ታጌቶ ጎዱባንተ ካእዳንክያ፤ ጎርቱን ጎስናታ’ ” አመ አባበ።BSBBSB: If it bears fruit next year, fine. But if not, you can cut it down.’”
10. 10BSWEየሱሳ አይሁድን ታፎልሲ አሪ ኮ አይሁድኮክ ምን ካኤብ አጋልስሳ ግረ።BSBBSB: One Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues,
11. 11BSWEኤሴና ባቲክ አያናይ ጌስ ቶሞንኮ ስዴድ ዱባ ዙኡሮ ታቤሰተ ሄለልትቲ ቶ ግቴ። ኤሴና ዙኡሮ ቤሳኖኮ ካከይ ዱዶ ጦቂ አምን ላኮዳንዴተቴ።BSBBSB: and a woman there had been disabled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was hunched over and could not stand up straight.
12. 12BSWEየሱሳና ኤሰ ካኮደያረ ጎራታ ኡመጉረ፥ “አባቴ፥ ሀዉኣምካኮ ፋይተታ” አመ።BSBBSB: When Jesus saw her, He called her over and said, “Woman, you are set free from your disability.”
13. 13BSWEገነቴሳ ኤሰ ጉት ካየ፥ ኤሰና ጎርሰዋ ቱኩል አልተ፥ ዋና ጋላቲተ።BSBBSB: Then He placed His hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and began to glorify God.
14. 14BSWEካአይሁድ ምን ካኤብኮክ ዎይቻ ጎአመን፥ የሱሳ አይሁድን ታፎስ አሪ ኤሰ ማንኮፋይሰ ማራን አማራተረ ጎሳነ፥ “ፈሎ ፈላይን ታኮዶትሳራ አሪ ሌዎ ግቶዋ። ሃንሱን እሶ አርጆሊ ኤሜየንደን ፋያ ኳሬ ታፎልሲ አሪ ላኮዮ” አመ።BSBBSB: But the synagogue leader was indignant that Jesus had healed on the Sabbath. “There are six days for work,” he told the crowd. “So come and be healed on those days and not on the Sabbath.”
15. 15BSWEጎታና አባበረ፥ “እስን ኢፍሳዶለ፥ እስን ኦሮኮ እባዶት ኮ ኣር ጎርቱን ደሜር ታፎልሲ አሪ አዉድኮ ፉራተረ በከ ጣምሳይን ላኮዳግሳታሮያ?BSBBSB: “You hypocrites!” the Lord replied. “Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or donkey from the stall and lead it to water?
16. 16BSWEሀያ፥ ህት ሄለልትቲ ታአብራመ ኤረ ሌተ ግራን ጌስ ቶሞንኮ ስዴድ ዱባ ጻላዬ ሽሻንተ ካኮግቴኮ ሂካ ሻኖኮ ታፎልሲ አሪ ፉራሚን ላኮዶትሳቶያ?” አመ።BSBBSB: Then should not this daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be released from her bondage on the Sabbath day?”
17. 17BSWEሂካ ካኮአዬሳረ ጎራታ ኡሱ ኦዲዳሬን ዱባ ሙሌን፥ ጎሳ ዱባና አደ ኡሱ ኦፈለሮ ኦሳዳምራን ፈሎ ዱባና ገጌላተ።BSBBSB: When Jesus said this, all His adversaries were humiliated. And the whole crowd rejoiced at all the glorious things He was doing.
18. 18BSWEኤሰኮና የሱሳ፤ “ዎኖናት ካዋ መ ኣን ላራ? መነ ዎታ ማሱስራ?BSBBSB: Then Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God like? To what can I compare it?
19. 19BSWEእባዶት ኮ ገሰረ እራ ኦሮ ታዉጠሮ ኢል ታስናፍጭ ኣን ላታ፤ ጂናተ ጋ ሌተ፤ ጉንተ ካቡባራ ክምብርጆልና ባላልክሰ ጉት ሀማጼ” አመ።BSBBSB: It is like a mustard seed that a man tossed into his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air nested in its branches.”
20. 20BSWEአደና የሱሳ፤ “ዎኖናት ካዋ መነ ዎታ ማሱስራ?BSBBSB: Again He asked, “To what can I compare the kingdom of God?
21. 21BSWEሄለልትቲ ቶ ኣተዴ ካም ራቶ ታ ሙላምሮ ጣመ ታንጂነ ዎታ ታለሌደቶ ኢርሾ ኣን ላታ አመ።”BSBBSB: It is like leaven that a woman took and mixed into three measures of flour, until all of it was leavened.”
22. 22BSWEኤሰኮ አባባተረ የሱሳ ኢየሩሳለም ሴታ ግራን፥ ኦሮማረ ታኮሮራረ ካታማሊና ማማንጆል አጋልስሰ ሮራ ግረ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus traveled throughout the towns and villages, teaching as He made His way toward Jerusalem.
23. 23BSWEእባዶት ኮ ጋባላመረ፥ “ጎታ፤ ኦፋያራን እባዶጃ ኡጫር ኦላልያን?” አመ። ኡሱና አባበረ ሃ አመ፤BSBBSB: “Lord,” someone asked Him, “will only a few people be saved?” Jesus answered,
24. 24BSWE“ጎጫ ካኡባነ ታብን እጻማ፤ አን ሃ አማራ፤ ካሞጋን ታብን ዶታታራ፤ አየሱን ጎአመን እሶን ላኮሌሮ፤BSBBSB: “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able.
25. 25BSWEኦዶምነ ክጉረ ጎጫ ካኮጩፋተ ጎራታ ሳሬ አልዴነ፥ ‘ጎታ፤ ኡፋ ኖን ባንና’ አማ ባባሳታኖ ሀጋአብናታን። ኡሱ ጎአመን፥ ‘እስን አዮስታን ሀገኮ ኤመቴታን’ አን እስን ላኮካሶ! አም እስኑን አባብናራ።BSBBSB: After the master of the house gets up and shuts the door, you will stand outside knocking and saying, ‘Lord, open the door for us.’ But he will reply, ‘I do not know where you are from.’
26. 26BSWEእስና፥ ‘ኖ ኩ ዎታ ራቶ አምነና፥ ጣምነና፥ ሶንጎንና ኖ አጋልስሰታ አምናታን።’BSBBSB: Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’
27. 27BSWE“ኡሱና፥ እስን አዮስታን ሀገኮ ኤመቴታን ‘አን እስን ላኮካሶ፥ እስን ኦሜላን ዱባ እንኮ ፋክማ’ አምናራ።BSBBSB: And he will answer, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from. Depart from me, all you evildoers.’
28. 28BSWEአብራመነ፥ ይሳቃነ ያይቆባነ፥ ካሄገሮልነ ዱባ ዎኖናት ካዋ ኦሮ ጎዴተን፥ እስን አድ ሳርድ ሻፋምዴን ጎሄሴን ሀሱ ጎራታ ኦታና ኢልኮ ፎጫኖ እስኑን ሌራ።BSBBSB: There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves are thrown out.
29. 29BSWEእባዶ ምና ታብያንኮ፥ ምና ታኢያንኮ፥ ኤለኮና ሄገልኮ ኤሜይጉረ ዎኖናት ካዋይ አሞን ሀማጺናራ።BSBBSB: People will come from east and west and north and south, and will recline at the table in the kingdom of God.
30. 30BSWEሃንሱን፥ ካሃረ ሆረ ሀይናራ፥ ካሆሬና፥ ሃር ሀይናራ።”BSBBSB: And indeed, some who are last will be first, and some who are first will be last.”
31. 31BSWEሀሱ ጎራታ እባዶ ካፋራሳውኮ ኮኮ ኤመተረ፥ “ሄሮዶሳ ኩ ላጋዲን ማንኮዶታሮ ማራን ክጉዴ ሂታኮ ሴ” አመ።BSBBSB: At that very hour, some Pharisees came to Jesus and told Him, “Leave this place and get away, because Herod wants to kill You.”
32. 32BSWEየሱሳ አደ እሶነ፥ “ሴየንጉዴነ ሀሱ ቃሩማ ታዳኤር ካአቦ ጌዳላትዉን፥ ሂክማ፥ ‘አን ህታርና ጌባርና ዱርሳ ቤስናራ፥ ꬉኩባሌሳልና ፋይስናራ፥ አሪ ታሴድና ሀልቻኬ ቶስ ጌግናራ’ አማራ አማ ሰጋ አመ።BSBBSB: But Jesus replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘Look, I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.’
33. 33BSWEሀሌዎ ኳሬ ካሄገሮ ኢየሩሳለም ኦሮ ኳሬ ማጌና ጎይን ላኮዶትሳሮ ህታር፥ ጌባርና ጋባሩ ኤሰራ ቶስ ሰሴታን ሆረድናራ።BSBBSB: Nevertheless, I must keep going today and tomorrow and the next day, for it is not admissible for a prophet to perish outside of Jerusalem.
34. 34BSWE“ኢየሩሳለም፥ ኢየሩሳለም፥ ካሄገሮ ታላጋዳታ፥ ኩ ቶስ ኦፋራመራና ኤኤሞ ታኤጋታ! ሉካለ ጩጩተካክሴ ባላሎኦትሴይ ሄገሊ ጎጎኩኩይሳቶ ማለ አን ይስካካ ኩኩይስን ምያ ጋለ ዶተ፥ እስን አዴነ ላ አንቴን።BSBBSB: O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those sent to her, how often I have longed to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were unwilling!
35. 35BSWEሃንሱን፥ ምንክስን ኦና ሌ ሄሰራ። አን ሃ አማራ፥ ‘መገ ካጎታይ ካኤሜይናራ ኡሱ ካሶማሳመያ ሃ ታአንታን አሪ ታጌቶ ሂታኮ ሆረንባን ጎርታ እን ላኮድናታን’ ” አመ።BSBBSB: Look, your house is left to you desolate. And I tell you that you will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
