Psalm 128 128 Psalms Book 5 unfoldingWord® Simplified Text The Blessed Fear of the LORD (Psalm 112:1–10)
UST This is a psalm for those going up to the temple to worship. How good life is for all who deeply revere Yahweh and who do what he tells them to do! BSB BSB: A song of ascents. Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in His ways!
UST You will enjoy eating the food that you have worked hard for, and it will make you healthy. BSB BSB: For when you eat the fruit of your labor, blessings and prosperity will be yours.
UST Your wife will bear many children in the innermost rooms of your house, like a grapevine that produces many grapes. Your children will grow strong like young olive trees as they fill the room around your table. BSB BSB: Your wife will be like a fruitful vine flourishing within your house, your sons like olive shoots sitting around your table.
UST Yes, that is how Yahweh will bless every person who deeply reveres him. BSB BSB: In this way indeed shall blessing come to the man who fears the LORD.
UST May Yahweh bless you from{ where he lives} in Zion, so that you may be able to experience how the people of Jerusalem prosper during the whole time that you live, BSB BSB: May the LORD bless you from Zion, that you may see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life,
UST and so that you may live long enough to see your grandchildren! May the people of Israel live well! BSB BSB: that you may see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel!
