1. 1GMVEኢንቴኖ ቄሴቶ ሃይሳ ሲዪቴ! ኢስራኤሌ ኣሳቶ ኣኬኪቴ! ካዎ ኬꬃ ኣሳቶ ሃይሳ ኤዝጊቴ! ሄኮ ፒርዳይ ኢንቴ ቦላ ዪዴስ፤ ጋሶይካ ኢንቴ ሚጺጳን ናርጻ፥ ታቦሬ ዙማን ጊቴ ጊዲዴታ።BSBBSB: “Hear this, O priests! Take heed, O house of Israel! Give ear, O royal house! For this judgment is against you because you have been a snare at Mizpah, a net spread out on Tabor.
2. 2GMVEማካላንቻቲ ሼምፖ ዎꬎ ካሴፔ ሃ ዳርሲዳ፤ ሄሳ ጊሻስ ታኒ ኢስታ ኡባካ ቃጻያና።BSBBSB: The rebels are deep in slaughter; but I will chastise them all.
3. 3GMVEታኒ ኢስራኤሌ ኣሳ ኡባ ኤራይስ። ኢስራኤሌይ ታ ኣይፌፔ ጌማቤኩ፤ ኤፍሬሜ፥ ኔኒ ላይማቴꬃ ጎይኖን ቱናዳሳ።BSBBSB: I know all about Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from Me. For now, O Ephraim, you have turned to prostitution; Israel is defiled.
4. 4GMVEኢስራኤሌ ኣሳይ ኦꬂዳ ሞሮይ ኢስቲ ባ ጾሳኮ ሲሞንታ ማላ ዲጊዴስ። ላይማቴꬃ ኣያናይ ኢስታ ዎዚና ኩሚዴስ። ሄሳ ጊሻስ ኢስቲ ጎዳ ኤሬቴና።BSBBSB: Their deeds do not permit them to return to their God, for a spirit of prostitution is within them, and they do not know the LORD.
5. 5GMVEኢስራኤሌ ኣሳ ኦቶሮይ ኢስታ ቦላ ሲሚ ማርካቴስ። ኢስቲ ባንታ ናጋራን ꬉጴታና። ዩሁዳይካ ኢስታራ ኢሲፌ ꬉጴቲ ኩንዳና።BSBBSB: Israel’s arrogance testifies against them; Israel and Ephraim stumble in their iniquity; even Judah stumbles with them.
6. 6GMVEኢስቲ ጎዳ ኮያናስ ባንታ ዉዴ ሜሄታኔ ሚዛታካ ላጊ ኤፋና፤ ጊዶ ኣቲን ኢዚ ኢስታፌ ሻኬቲዳ ጊሻስ ኢስቲ ኢዛ ዴሜቴና።BSBBSB: They go with their flocks and herds to seek the LORD, but they do not find Him; He has withdrawn Himself from them.
7. 7GMVEኢስቲ ኤቃ ጾሳታስ ጎይኒዛ ጊሻስ ጎዳስ ኣማኔቲቤቴና፤ ኢስቲ ላይማን ናይታ ዬሊዳ። ሄሳ ጊሻስ ኢስቲ ኣጊና ጼሮን ቦንቺዛ ባኣሌይ ኢስታኔ ኢስታ ናይታ ኢሲፌ ꬋይሳና።BSBBSB: They have been unfaithful to the LORD; for they have borne illegitimate children. Now the New Moon will devour them along with their land.
8. 8GMVEኣሳይ ኦላስ ኬዛና ማላ ጊቢኣን ዛዬ ዛዪቴ፤ ኤራማን ጹሩምባ ፑኒቴ። ቤቲ-ኣዌኔን፥ ‹ቢኒያሜ ባጋቶ! ኑ ኢንቴናራ ዶስ› ጊሼ ዋሲቴ።BSBBSB: Blow the ram’s horn in Gibeah, the trumpet in Ramah; raise the battle cry in Beth-aven: Lead on, O Benjamin!
9. 9GMVEቂጻቴይ ዪዛ ዎዴ ኤፍሬሜይ ቡላ ጊዳና፤ ሃይሲ ኢስራኤሌ ቦላ ጋካናይሳ ታ ሎኤꬃ ኤሪሳይስ» ጌስ።BSBBSB: Ephraim will be laid waste on the day of rebuke. Among the tribes of Israel I proclaim what is certain.
10. 10GMVEጎዳይ፥ «ዩሁዳ ካሌꬂዛይቲ ꬋስ ሾዲዛ ኣሳ ማላ ጊዲዳ ጊሻስ ታኒ ታ ሃንቆ ሃꬃ ዲኦ ማላ ኢስታ ቦላ ዬዳና።BSBBSB: The princes of Judah are like those who move boundary stones; I will pour out My fury upon them like water.
11. 11GMVEኢስራኤሌ ኣሳይ ሃዳ ጾስ ካሎን ሚኒዴስ። ሄሳ ጋሶን ናቄቲዴታኔ ፒርዳን ቆሄቲዴታ።BSBBSB: Ephraim is oppressed, crushed in judgment, for he is determined to follow worthless idols.
12. 12GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ ታኒ ኢስራኤሌ ኣሳ ፒኖ ማላ፥ ዩሁዳ ኣሳስ ቃሴ ቁኖ ማላ ጊዳና።BSBBSB: So I am like a moth to Ephraim, and like decay to the house of Judah.
13. 13GMVEኢስራኤሌይ ባ ሳኮዛ፤ ዩሁዳይካ ባ ማዱንꬃ ቤኢዲ ኢስራኤሌይ ኣሶሬኮ ባ ኣይፍሶ ዛራዱስ፤ ኢስራኤሌይ ማዶ ዴማናስ ጊታ ኣሶሬ ካዎኮ ቃስታኔ ኪታዱስ። ጊዶ ኣቲን ኢዚ ኢንቴና ኣሻናስ ዎይኮ ኢንቴ ማዱንꬃ ፓꬃናስ ዳንዳይቤና።BSBBSB: When Ephraim saw his sickness and Judah his wound, then Ephraim turned to Assyria and sent to the great king. But he cannot cure you or heal your wound.
14. 14GMVEሄሳፌ ዴንዲዳይሳን ታኒ ኢስራኤሌስ ጋሞ ማላ ዩሁዳስካ ዎዳላ ጋሞ ማላ ጊዳና፤ ታ ኢስታ ኒፊፊ ሂስታ ሜንꬄሬꬃ ዬጋና፤ ቦንቃ ኤካዳ ባና፤ ኦኒካ ኢስታ ታ ኩሼፔ ኣሻናስ ዳንዳዬና።BSBBSB: For I am like a lion to Ephraim and like a young lion to the house of Judah. I, even I, will tear them to pieces and then go away. I will carry them off where no one can rescue them.
15. 15GMVEኢስቲ ባ ባላ ኤሪዲ ታኮ ሲማና ጋካናስ ታኒ ኢስታፌ ሃካና። ኢስታ ቦላ ሜቶይ ዳሪዛ ዎዴ ኢስቲ ታና ሚንꬂ ኮያና» ጌስ።BSBBSB: Then I will return to My place until they admit their guilt and seek My face; in their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”
