1. 1GMVEሄ ዎዴ ዳሮ ዴሬይ ባ ጊዶን ኢሶይ ኢሳራ ዬꬌታና ጋካናስ ሺቂ ኡቲዳሼ ዬሱሲ ባና ካሊዛይታ፥ «ፋርሳዌታ ኢርሾፌ ናጌቲቴ፤ ሄሲካ ቆꬌፔ ቆሞ ሃኖ።BSBBSB: In the meantime, a crowd of many thousands had gathered, so that they were trampling one another. Jesus began to speak first to His disciples: “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
2. 2GMVEቆንጮንታ ካሜቲዲ ኣታናይኔ ኤሬቶንታ ቆታን ኣታና ሚሺ ዴና።BSBBSB: There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, and nothing hidden that will not be made known.
3. 3GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ ኢንቴ ጌማን ሃሳይዳዚ ዉሪ ቆንጬ ኬዛና፤ ቃሴካ ኢንቴ ቆልኣን ሃይꬃን ሳሱኬቲ ሃሳይዳዚ ዉሪ ዴሬ ሲንꬃን ዮቴታና።BSBBSB: What you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the housetops.
4. 4GMVE«ታ ላጌቶ! ታ ኢንቴስ ጊዛይ ኣሾ ጻላ ዎꬋናፔ ኣቲን ሃራ ኣይኮካ ኦꬃናስ ዳንዳዮንታይታስ ባቦፍቴ።BSBBSB: I tell you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more.
5. 5GMVEጊዶ ኣቲን ኢንቴ ባባናስ ቤሲዛይ ኦናኮ ታ ኢንቴና ቤሳና፤ ኣሾ ዎꬊዳፔ ጉዬ ኣሾኔ ሼምፖ ኢሲፌ ጋꬂ ጋናሜ ታማን ዬጋናስ ዳንዳይዛይሳስ ባቢቴ፤ ኤ ኢዛስ ባቢቴ ጋይስ።BSBBSB: But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear the One who, after you have been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear Him!
6. 6GMVE«ሲኔ ካፎ ኢቻሻቲ ናምኡ ሳንቴስ ባይዜቴቴስ፤ ጊዶ ኣቲን ኢስታፌ ኢሲኔዮካ ጾሲ ዶጌና።BSBBSB: Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God.
7. 7GMVEኢንቴ ሁኤ ቢናናይ ኩሜꬅ ታይቦን ዴስ፤ ሄሳ ጊሻስ ባቦፍቴ፤ ዳሮ ሲኔ ካፎታፔ ኢንቴ ኣꬌታ።BSBBSB: And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
8. 8GMVE«ታ ኢንቴስ ዮታይስ፤ ታ ጊሻስ ኣሳ ሲንꬃን ማርካቲዛ ኣሳ ኡባስ ኣሳ ናይ ቃሴካ ጾሳ ኪታንቻ ሲንꬃን ኢዛ ጊሻስ ማርካታና።BSBBSB: I tell you, everyone who confesses Me before men, the Son of Man will also confess him before the angels of God.
9. 9GMVEጊዶ ኣቲን ኣሳ ሲንꬃን ታና ካዲዳዴይ ጾሳ ኪታንቻ ሲንꬃን ካዴታና።BSBBSB: But whoever denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God.
10. 10GMVE«ኣሳ ና ቦላ ካዉሻ ቃላ ሃሳይዛዴስ ናጋራይ ዉሪ ማሬታናሺን ጺሎ ኣያና ጫዪዛዴይ ማሬቴና።BSBBSB: And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.
11. 11GMVE«ኣሳይ ኢንቴና ኦይኪዲ ዴሬ ሃሪዛይታኮኔ ጎዳቲዛይታኮ፤ ኣይሁዳ ዎሳ ኬꬄ ኦይኪ ኤፊኮ፥ ‹ኣይ ጊ ዛሪኖ? ኣይ ጊኖ?› ጊዲ ሂርጎፍቴ።BSBBSB: When you are brought before synagogues, rulers, and authorities, do not worry about how to defend yourselves or what to say.
12. 12GMVEኣይስ ጊኮ ኢንቴ ሃሳያናስ ቤሲዛይሳ ጺሎ ኣያናይ ሄ ዎዴ ኢንቴና ታማርሳና» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: For at that time the Holy Spirit will teach you what you should say.”
13. 13GMVEዳሮ ኣሳ ጊዶፌ ኢሳዴይ፥ «ኣስታማሬ! ታ ኢሻይ ኑ ኣዋ ላታ ሚሻፌ ታና ጋኪዛይሳ ታስ ኢማና ማላ ኢዛስ ዮታ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Someone in the crowd said to Him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”
14. 14GMVEዬሱሲካ፥ «ሃይሶ! ታና ኢንቴ ቦላ ፒርዲዛ ዳና ኦꬂዳይ ኦኔ?» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: But Jesus replied, “Man, who appointed Me judge or executor between you?”
15. 15GMVEቃሴካ ኢስታስ፥ «ኣሳስ ዳሮ ሚሺ ዲኮካ ሼምፖይ ሄ ዱሬቴꬃን ዶንታ ጊሻስ ናጌቲቴ፤ ዪቄቴꬃፌ ኢንቴና ኬሂ ናጊቴ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: And He said to them, “Watch out! Guard yourselves against every form of greed, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”
16. 16GMVEዛሬꬂዲካ ኢስታስ፥ «ሎኤꬂ ካꬅ ኢሚዛ ጋዴ ጎዳ ጊዲዳ ኢሲ ዱሬ ኣሲ ዴስ።BSBBSB: Then He told them a parable: “The ground of a certain rich man produced an abundance.
17. 17GMVEሄ ኣዴዚካ ባ ዎዚናን፥ ‹ታ ካꬃ ሺሻዳ ዎꬂዛሶይ ባይንዳ ጊሻስ ኣይ ኦꬆ?› ጊ ቆፒዴስ።BSBBSB: So he thought to himself, ‘What shall I do, since I have nowhere to store my crops?’
18. 18GMVE«ኣዴዚካ፥ ‹ታስ ዲዛ ጎታራታ ላላዳ ሃራ ኣኪዛይሳ ኬጻና፤ ሂስታዳ ታስ ዲዛ ካꬃኔ ታስ ዲዛዝ ኡባ ኢዛን ሺሻና።BSBBSB: Then he said, ‘This is what I will do: I will tear down my barns and will build bigger ones, and there I will store up all my grain and my goods.
19. 19GMVEታ ሼምፖዬ! ዳሮ ዎዴስ ጊዲዛ ካꬅ ሺሺዳ ጊሻስ ሼምፓ ኡታዳ ማ፤ ኡያ፤ ኡፋዬታ› ጋና ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Then I will say to myself, “You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take it easy. Eat, drink, and be merry!”’
20. 20GMVE«ጊዶ ኣቲን፥ ‹ጾሲ ሃይሶ ኤያዞ! ኔ ሼምፖዮ ሃች ኦማርስ ኔፔ ኤካና ኮዬቴስ፤ ሄሳ ጊሻስ ኔ ኔስ ሺሺዳይሲ ኦናስ ጊዳኔ?› ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be required of you. Then who will own what you have accumulated?’
21. 21GMVE«ሄሳ ጊሻስ ጾሳ ኣቻን ዱሬ ጊዶንታ ባስ ሚሼ ሺሺዛ ኣሳ ዉርሴꬂካ ሄሳ ማላ» ጊ ሌሚሶን ዮቲዴስ።BSBBSB: This is how it will be for anyone who stores up treasure for himself but is not rich toward God.”
22. 22GMVEሄሳፌ ጉዬ ዬሱሲ ባና ካሊዛይታስ፥ «ኢንቴስ ታ ዮታይስ፤ ኢንቴ ዱሳስ፥ ‹ኣይ ማናኮ ዎይኮ ኢንቴ ቦላስ ኣይ ማይኣናኮ› ጊዲ ጬጮፒቴ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear.
23. 23GMVEኣይስ ጊኮ ሼምፖይ ካꬃፌ ኣሳቴꬂ ቃሴ ማይኦፌ ኣꬌስ።BSBBSB: For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.
24. 24GMVEቁሮታ ጼሊቴ ዜሬቴና፤ ማጼቴና፤ ካꬅ ሺሺዛ ጎታራይ ኢስታስ ባ ሺን ጾሲ ኢስታ ሚዜስ። ሂስቲኮ ኢንቴ ኢስታፌ ኬሂ ኣꬌኬቲ?BSBBSB: Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storehouse or barn; yet God feeds them. How much more valuable you are than the birds!
25. 25GMVEጊዶ ኣቲን ኢንቴፌ ዳርሲ ቆፒዲ ባ ላይꬃ ቦላ ኢሲ ጋላስ ጉጃና ዳንዳይዛይ ኦኔ?BSBBSB: Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
26. 26GMVEሂስቲኮ ጉꬃ ሚሽ ኦሶይ ኢንቴስ ዳንዳዬቶንታሼ ኣይስ ሃራ ሚሻስ ኬሂ ቆፔቲ?BSBBSB: So if you cannot do such a small thing, why do you worry about the rest?
27. 27GMVE«ጪሻቲ ዋኒዲ ዲጪዛኮ ኣኔ ጼሊቴ፤ ዋዬቴና፤ ሱቄቴና፤ ጊዶ ኣቲን ታ ኢንቴስ ዮታይስ፤ ሶሎሞኔይካ ጊታ ኣሳ ሺን ኢስታፌ ኢሲኔይꬆ ማይኢቤና።BSBBSB: Consider how the lilies grow: They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory was adorned like one of these.
28. 28GMVEሂስቲኮ ጾሲ ሃች ቤቲዲ ዎንቶ ታማን ዎꬋና ማታ ሃይሳꬆ ማይዚዛ ጊዲኮ ኢንቴኖ ኣማኖይ ፓጪዳይቶ! ኢንቴና ዎስቲ ኣꬂ ማዪዜኔ?BSBBSB: If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith!
29. 29GMVE«ሄሳ ጊሻስ፥ ‹ኣይ ሚኖ? ኣይ ማይኢኖ?› ጊዲ ኢንቴ ዎዚናይ ዳርሲ ቆፖፎ።BSBBSB: And do not be concerned about what you will eat or drink. Do not worry about it.
30. 30GMVEቢታ ቦላን ዲዛ ኣሲ ዉሪ ሃይሳ ኮዬስ፤ ጊዶ ኣቲን ሃይሲ ዉሪ ኢንቴስ ኮሺዛይሳ ኢንቴ ሳሎ ኣዋይ ኤሬስ።BSBBSB: For the Gentiles of the world strive after all these things, and your Father knows that you need them.
31. 31GMVEኡባፌካ ኮይሮꬂዲ ጾሳ ካዎቴꬅ ኮዪቴ፤ ሃይሲ ዉሪ ኢንቴስ ጉጄቲ ኢሜታና።BSBBSB: But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added unto you.
32. 32GMVE«ኢንቴኖ ጉꬃ ዉዴ ሜሄ ማላ ጊዲዳይቶ! ካዎቴꬅ ኢንቴስ ኢማናስ ኢንቴ ኣዋስ ሎኦ ቆፋ ጊዲዳ ጊሻስ ባቦፍቴ።BSBBSB: Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom.
33. 33GMVEኢንቴስ ዲዛይሳ ባይዚዲ ማንቆታስ ኢሚቴ፤ ካይሶይ ኤኮንታሶን፥ ቢላይ ሞንታሶን፥ ጪሞንታ ኮሮጆን ዉሮንታ ሚሽ ሳሎን ሺሺቴ።BSBBSB: Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide yourselves with purses that will not wear out, an inexhaustible treasure in heaven, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.
34. 34GMVEኢንቴ ዎዚናይ ኢንቴ ሚሺ ዲዛሶን ዳና» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
35. 35GMVE«ቃንꬃን ጊጺዲ ጊጌቲቴ፤ ኢንቴ ፖኦይካ ፖኦ፥BSBBSB: Be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning.
36. 36GMVEኢስታ ጎዳይ ቡላቻ ዲጊሳፔ ሲሚዲ ያናሼ ናጌቲዛይታኔ ኢዚ ዪዲ ፔንጌ ቆጺሺን ኤሌ ዶያናስ ጊጊ ኡቲዳ ኣሳታ ሚሳቲቴ።BSBBSB: Then you will be like servants waiting for their master to return from the wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks, they can open the door for him at once.
37. 37GMVEኢስታ ጎዳይ ዪዛ ዎዴ ꬊስኮንታ ናጊ ኡቲዳ ኣሽካራቲ ኢስቲ ኣንጄቲዳይታ፤ ታ ኢንቴስ ቱሙ ጋይስ፤ ኢስታ ጎዳይ ባስ ቃንꬃን ጊጺ ኤቂዲ ኢስታ ማዳን ኡቲሲዲ ሚዛና።BSBBSB: Blessed are those servants whom the master finds on watch when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve and will have them recline at the table, and he himself will come and wait on them.
38. 38GMVEኦማርስ ዎይኮ ሌላ ጊዶꬃን ዪዲ ኢስቲ ꬊስኮንታ ዲሺን ዴሚኮ ሄ ኣሽካራቲ ኣንጄቲዳይታ።BSBBSB: Even if he comes in the second or third watch of the night and finds them alert, those servants will be blessed.
39. 39GMVEካይሶይ ኣይ ዎዴ ያናኮ ኤሪዛ ጊዲዳኮ ኬꬃ ጎዳይ ካይሶይ ቦኪሺን ጮኡ ጊዲ ቤሶንታይሳ ኤሪቴ።BSBBSB: But understand this: If the homeowner had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into.
40. 40GMVEኣሳ ናይ ኢንቴ ቆፖንታ ዎዴን ያናይሳ ኤሪዲ ኢንቴካ ጊጌቲዲ ናጊቴ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour you do not expect.”
41. 41GMVEጴጽሮሲካ፥ «ጎዶ! ሃይሳ ሌሚሶዛ ኔ ዮቲዛይ ኑስ ጻላዬ? ኡባ ኣሳሳራ?» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: “Lord,” said Peter, “are You addressing this parable to us, or to everyone else as well?”
42. 42GMVEጎዳይካ፥ «ሂስቲኮ ባሶ ኣሳስ ኮሺዛ ዎዴን ቁማ ኢማና ማላ ኬꬃዴይ ኬꬃ ኣሳ ቦላ ዎꬂዛ ኣማኔቲዳ ዎዚናማ ኣሲ ኦኔ?BSBBSB: And the Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their portion at the proper time?
43. 43GMVEጎዳይ ሲሚሺን ሄሳꬆ ኦꬂሼ ቤቲዛዴይ ኢዚ ኣንጄቲዳዴ።BSBBSB: Blessed is that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.
44. 44GMVEታ ኢንቴስ ቱሙ ጋይስ፤ ባስ ዲዛ ሚሽ ኡባ ቦላ ሄሳዴ ጎዳሳና።BSBBSB: Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.
45. 45GMVEጊዶ ኣቲን፥ ‹ኢዛዴይ ታ ጎዳይ ኤሌ ዬና ጋምኣና› ጊ ቆፒዲ ኣዴ ኣሽካራታኔ ማጫ ኣሽካራታ ቡኪኮ፥ ቃሴካ ኮዪዳ ማላ ሚዲኔ ኡዪዲ ማꬆቲኮ፥BSBBSB: But suppose that servant says in his heart, ‘My master will be a long time in coming,’ and he begins to beat the menservants and maidservants, and to eat and drink and get drunk.
46. 46GMVEሄሳዴ ጎዳይ ኢዚ ቆፖንታ ጋላሳን ያና ጊዲ ኤዝጎንታ ሳቴን ያና፤ ሂስቲዲ ኢዛ ቃንጼሬꬂ ዬጊዲ ኢዛ ኤጻ ኣማኖንታይታራ ኢሲፌ ኦꬃና።BSBBSB: The master of that servant will come on a day he does not expect and at an hour he does not anticipate. Then he will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.
47. 47GMVE«ባ ጎዳ ቆፋ ኤሪዲ ጊጌቶንታይኔ ጎዳ ሼኔ ኦꬆንታ ኣሽካራይ ኢታ ሾች ሾጬታና።BSBBSB: That servant who knows his master’s will but does not get ready or follow his instructions will be beaten with many blows.
48. 48GMVEጊዶ ኣቲን ኤሮንታ ዲሼ ሾቻስ ቤሲዛ ሞሮ ኦꬂዳ ኣሽካራይ ጉꬃራ ሾጬታና፤ ዳሮ ኢሜቲዳ ኣሳ ኡባፌ ዳሮይ ኮዬቴስ፤ ዳሮ ሃዳራ ኤኪዳዴፌ ዳሮይ ኮዬቴስ።BSBBSB: But the one who unknowingly does things worthy of punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and from him who has been entrusted with much, even more will be demanded.
49. 49GMVE«ታኒ ዪዳይ ቢታ ቦላን ታማ ኤꬃናሳ፤ ሄ ታማይ ሃኢ ኤጺ ኬዚዳኮ ታና ዳሮ ኡፋይሳና።BSBBSB: I have come to ignite a fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!
50. 50GMVEጊዶ ኣቲን ታኒ ጻማቄታና ጺንቃታይ ዴስ፤ ሄ ጺንቃታይ ፖሌታናሼ ታኒ ኬሃ ሜቶቴታዲስ።BSBBSB: But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished!
51. 51GMVEኢንቴስ ታኒ ቢታ ቦላ ሳሮ ኤሃና ዪዳ ሚሳቲዜ? ጊዴና፤ ታ ኢንቴስ ዮታይስ፤ ታኒ ዪዳይ ኢሳ ኢሳፌ ሻካናሳ።BSBBSB: Do you think that I have come to bring peace to the earth? No, I tell you, but division.
52. 52GMVEሃይሳፌ ሲንꬃን ኢሲ ኬꬃን ባ ጊዶን ሻኬቲዳ ኢቻሹ ኣሳቲ ዳና። ናምኣቲ ሄꬓታ ቦላ ሄꬓቲ ናምኣታ ቦላ ዴንዲዲ ባ ጊዶን ሻኬታና።BSBBSB: From now on, five in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three.
53. 53GMVEኣዋይ ባ ኣቱማ ና ቦላ፥ ኣቱማ ናይካ ባ ኣዋ ቦላ፥ ኣያ ባ ማጫ ናይ ቦላ፥ ማጫ ናያካ ባ ኣዬይ ቦላ፥ ቦሎታ ባ ና ማቺ ቦላ፥ ና ማቻካ ባ ቦሎቲ ቦላ ዴንዲዲ ባ ጊዶን ሻኬታና» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”
54. 54GMVEቃሴካ ዴሬዛስ፥ «ኢንቴ ኣርሼይ ሞኪዛ ባጋራ ሻራይ ኬዚሺን ቤኢዲ፥ ‹ኤሌራካ ኢራይ ያና ጌስ› ጌታ፤ ኢንቴ ጊዳ ማላካ ሃኔስ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus said to the crowds, “As soon as you see a cloud rising in the west, you say, ‘A shower is coming,’ and that is what happens.
55. 55GMVEዱጌሃ ባጋራ ፑዴሃ ጫርኪሺን፥ ‹ጋላሳይ ሆኦ ጊዳና› ጌታ፤ ኢንቴ ጊዳ ማላካ ሃኔስ።BSBBSB: And when the south wind blows, you say, ‘It will be hot,’ and it is.
56. 56GMVEኢንቴኖ ሎኦ ሚሳቲዛ ኢታቶ፤ ሳሎይሳኔ ሳኣ ሜꬋ ቤኢዲ ሃናናይሳ ኤሬታ ሺን ሃ ዎዴዛ ኤሮይ ኢንቴና ዋኒ ጾኒዜ?BSBBSB: You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and sky. Why don’t you know how to interpret the present time?
57. 57GMVE«ሂስቲኮ ኢንቴ ኣይስ ቱማ ፒርዴኬቲ?BSBBSB: And why don’t you judge for yourselves what is right?
58. 58GMVE«ኔ ሞርኬራ ዳና ሲንꬃን ኤቃና ቢሺን ቡሮ ኦጌ ቦላን ዳሼ ኢዛራ ጊጋና ኦጌ ኮያ፤ ኔ ሂስቶንታ ኣጊኮ ኢዚ ኔና ጎቺዲ ዳና ሲንꬅ ኤፋና፤ ዳናይካ ኔና ኣꬂዲ ሃላቃስ ኢማና፤ ሃላቃይካ ኔና ዎይኔን ዬጋና።BSBBSB: Make every effort to reconcile with your adversary while you are on your way to the magistrate. Otherwise, he may drag you off to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and the officer may throw you into prison.
59. 59GMVEታ ኔስ ዮታይስ፤ ዳናይ ፒርዲዳ ዉርሴꬃ ሳንቲዮ ቃንጻ ዉርሳና ጋካናስ ኔ ሄፔ ኬዛካ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the very last penny.”
