1. 1GMVEሄ ዎዴ ኢሲ ኢሲ ኣሳቲ ዬሱሳኮ ዪዲ፥ «ጲላጾሲ ኢስታ ሱꬅ ኢስታ ያርሾራ ጋꬂ ዋላኪዳ ጋሊላ ኣሳታ» ጊሼ ዬሱሳስ ዮቲዳ።BSBBSB: At that time some of those present told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.
2. 2GMVEኢዚካ ዛሪዲ፥ «ሂስቲን ሄሳ ማላ ሜቶይ ኢስታ ቦላ ጋኪዳ ኣሳቲ ሃንኮ ዋዬይ ጋኮንታ ኣቲዳ ጋሊላ ኣሳ ኡባፌ ኣꬊዳ ናጋራንቻ ጊዲዳ ጊሻስ ጊ ቆፔቲ?BSBBSB: To this He replied, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered this way?
3. 3GMVEጊዴና! ታ ኢንቴስ ዮታይስ፤ ኢንቴ ማሬቶንታ ኢጺኮ ኢንቴ ዉሪካ ሄ ኣሳታ ማላ ꬋያና።BSBBSB: No, I tell you. But unless you repent, you too will all perish.
4. 4GMVEዎይኮ ሴሊሆሜን ጊምቤይ ኢስታ ቦላ ኩንዲን ሃይቂዳ ታማኔ ኦስፑን ኣሳቲ ዬሩሳላሜን ዲዛ ኣሳ ኡባፌ ናጋራንቻ ጊዲዳ ጊሻስ ጊዲ ቆፔቲ?BSBBSB: Or those eighteen who were killed when the tower of Siloam collapsed on them: Do you think that they were more sinful than all the others living in Jerusalem?
5. 5GMVEጊዴና! ታ ኢንቴስ ዮታይስ፤ ኢንቴ ማሬቶንታ ኢጺኮ ኢንቴ ዉሪካ ሄ ኣሳታ ማላ ꬋያና» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: No, I tell you. But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”
6. 6GMVEቃሴካ ኢስታስ፥ «ኢሲ ኣሲ ዎይኔ ቶኪዛሶሆን ቶኬቲዳ ኢሲ ባላሴ ሚꬂ ዳዉስ፤ ሄ ባላሴ ሚꬃይኮ ኣይፌ ኮያና ዪዲ ኢሲ ኣይፌካ ዴሚቤና።BSBBSB: Then Jesus told this parable: “A man had a fig tree that was planted in his vineyard. He went to look for fruit on it but did not find any.
7. 7GMVEዎይኔ ኣታኪልቴ ኦꬂዛይሳስ፥ ‹ሄኮ ታኒ ኣይፌ ዴማና ጋዳ ሃቺራ ሄꬑ ላይꬅ ሃ ባላሴይኮ ሲሜሬታ ያዳ ኢሲ ኣይፌካ ዴማቤኬ፤ ሄሳ ጊሻስ ኢዞ ቃንጻ ዲጋ! ኣዛስ ጮ ቢታ ጹንጻዜ?› ጊዲ ሌሚሶ ዮቲዴስ።BSBBSB: So he said to the keeper of the vineyard, ‘Look, for the past three years I have come to search for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Therefore cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’
8. 8GMVEኢዚካ ዛሪዲ፥ ‹ጎዶ! ታኒ ኢዚ ጻጶን ኦሻ ዬጋዳ ኦሴꬃ ጼላና ማላ ሃ ላይꬃስ ኣጋጋርኪ?BSBBSB: ‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone again this year, until I dig around it and fertilize it.
9. 9GMVEዪዛ ላይꬃስ ኢዛ ኣይፊኮ ሎኦ፤ ኣይፎንታ ኢጺኮ ቃንጻንዳሳ› » ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: If it bears fruit next year, fine. But if not, you can cut it down.’”
10. 10GMVEዬሱሲ ሳምባታ ጋላስ ኢሲ ኣይሁዳ ዎሳ ኬꬃን ታማርሲሺን፥BSBBSB: One Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues,
11. 11GMVEታማኔ ኦስፑን ላይꬅ ኩሜꬅ ኢታ ኣያናይ ኦይኪዲ ኣሳቴꬃ ፓጪሲዳ ኢሲ ማጫሳያ ሄን ዳዉስ፤ ኢዛካ ዞኮይ ቁኒዳ ጊሻስ ሙሌካ ꬎቁ ጋናስ ዳንዳዩኩ።BSBBSB: and a woman there had been disabled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was hunched over and could not stand up straight.
12. 12GMVEዬሱሲ ኢዞ ቤኢዳፔ ጉዬ ጼይጊዲ፥ «ሃኔ ማጫሳዬ! ኔኒ ኔና ሳኪዛ ሃርጌዛፔ ፓጻዳሳኮ!» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: When Jesus saw her, He called her over and said, “Woman, you are set free from your disability.”
13. 13GMVEዬሱሲ ባ ኩሼ ኢዚ ቦላ ዎꬂን ኢዛ ሄራካ ሲቲ ጋዳ ኤቃዱስ፤ ጾሳካ ጋላታዱስ።BSBBSB: Then He placed His hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and began to glorify God.
14. 14GMVEኣይሁዳታ ዎሳ ኬꬃ ሃላቃዚካ ሳምባታ ጋላስ ፓꬂዳይሳስ ዬሱሳ ቦላ ሃንቄቲዲ ኢዛኮ ዪዛ ዴሬዛ፥ «ኦሶስ ቤሲዛ ኡሱፑን ጋላሳቲ ዲዛ ጊሻስ ሄ ኦሶ ጋላሳታን ዪዲ ፓጺቴ ኣቲን ሳምባታ ጋላስ ዮፒቴ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: But the synagogue leader was indignant that Jesus had healed on the Sabbath. “There are six days for work,” he told the crowd. “So come and be healed on those days and not on the Sabbath.”
15. 15GMVEጎዳይካ ዛሪዲ፥ «ኢንቴኖ ቆꬌፔ ቆሞን ሃሳይዛይቶ! ኢንቴ ጊዶፌ ኢሳዴይ ባ ቦራ ዎይኮ ባ ሃሬ ሳምባታ ጋላስ ባሶን ቃሼቲዳሶፔ ቢርሺዲ ሃꬄ ኡሻናስ ኤፊ ኤሬኔ?BSBBSB: “You hypocrites!” the Lord replied. “Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or donkey from the stall and lead it to water?
16. 16GMVEሂስቲን ሃና ማጫሳያ ኣብራሃሜ ና ጊዳዳ ታማኔ ኦስፑን ላይꬅ ኩሜꬅ ጻላኤይ ቃቺን ዲዛሶፔ ሳምባታ ጋላስ ቢርሼታናስ ኢዚስ ቤሴኔ?» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Then should not this daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be released from her bondage on the Sabbath day?”
17. 17GMVEዬሱሲ ሂዝጊ ኦይቺዳ ዎዴ ኢዛራ ኤቄቲዛይቲ ዉሪካ ዬላቲዳ፤ ጊዶ ኣቲን ዴሬይ ዉሪካ ኢዚ ኦይቺዳ ማላሊሲዛ ኦይሻን ኡፋዬቲዴስ።BSBBSB: When Jesus said this, all His adversaries were humiliated. And the whole crowd rejoiced at all the glorious things He was doing.
18. 18GMVEቃሴካ ዬሱሲ ዛሪዲ፥ «ጾሳ ካዎቴꬂ ኣይ ሚሳቲዜ? ታ ኢዞ ኣዛራ ሌሚሶ?BSBBSB: Then Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God like? To what can I compare it?
19. 19GMVEኢሲ ኣሲ ሳናፊጬ ጌቴቲዛ ሚꬃ ኣይፌ ባ ጋዴን ቶኪን ሞካ ዲጫዳ ጊታ ጊዲን ካፎቲ ኢዚ ሃጋ ጊዶን ዱሳሶ ጊጊሳና ጋካናስ ዲጪዳ ሳናፊጬ ሚꬅ ሚሳታዉስ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: It is like a mustard seed that a man tossed into his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air nested in its branches.”
20. 20GMVEቃሴካ፥ «ጾሳ ካዎቴꬅ ኣዛራ ሌሚሶ?BSBBSB: Again He asked, “To what can I compare the kingdom of God?
21. 21GMVEኢሲ ማጫሲ ሙኑቃ ጫሊሳናስ ዳሮ ꬊሌራ ዋላኪዳ ጉꬃ ኢርሾ ሚሳታዉስ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: It is like leaven that a woman took and mixed into three measures of flour, until all of it was leavened.”
22. 22GMVEሄሳፌ ጉዬ ዬሱሲ ዬሩሳላሜ ቢሼ ካንꬂ ቢዛ ካታማኒኔ ጉታታን ኣሳ ታማርሲሼ ኣꬊሺን፥BSBBSB: Then Jesus traveled throughout the towns and villages, teaching as He made His way toward Jerusalem.
23. 23GMVEኢሳዴይ ኢዛኮ ሺቂዲ፥ «ጎዶ! ፒርዳፌ ጉꬃ ኣሳቲ ጻላ ኣታኔ?» ጊ ኦይቺዴስ። ኢዚካ ዛሪዲ፥ «ጹንꬃ ፔንጌይራ ጌላናስ ባጼቲቴ፤ ዳሮቲ ጌላናስ ኮዬቴስ ሺን ኢስታስ ሃኔና።BSBBSB: “Lord,” someone asked Him, “will only a few people be saved?” Jesus answered,
24. 25GMVEኬꬃ ጎዳይ ዴንዲዲ ባ ካሬ ጎርዲ ጊዲን ኢንቴ ካሬን ኤቂዲ፥ ‹ጎዶ! ካሬ ዶያርኪ!› ጊዲ ፔንጌ ቆጻና ሺን ኢዚ ዛሪዲ፥ ‹ኢንቴ ኦናኮኔ ኣዋፔ ዪዳኮ ታ ኢንቴና ኤሪኬ› ጋና ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: After the master of the house gets up and shuts the door, you will stand outside knocking and saying, ‘Lord, open the door for us.’ But he will reply, ‘I do not know where you are from.’
25. 26GMVE«ኢንቴካ ኢዛስ ዛሪዲ፥ ‹ኑኒ ኔናራ ኢሲፌ ሚዶሲኔ ኢሲፌ ኡዪዶስ፤ ኑ ዱቡሻን ኔ ኑና ታማርሳዳሳ› ጋና።BSBBSB: Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’
26. 27GMVE«ኢዚካ ዛሪዲ፥ ‹ኢንቴና ኢንቴ ኦናኮኔ ኢንቴ ኣዋፔ ዪዳኮ ታ ኢንቴና ኤሪኬ፤ ኢንቴ ማካላቲ ዉሪካ ታፔ ሃኪቴ› ጋና ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: And he will answer, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from. Depart from me, all you evildoers.’
27. 28GMVE«ኢንቴ ኣብራሃሜ፥ ዪሳቃ፥ ያቆቤኔ ናቤታ ኡባታ ጾሳ ካዎቴꬃን ቤኢዛ ዎዴ ኢንቴ ካሬን ዬጌቲ ኣቲኮ ሄ ዎዴ ኢንቴስ ዬሆኔ ኣቻ ጋርጬች ጊዳና።BSBBSB: There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves are thrown out.
28. 29GMVEኣሳይ ኣርሼይ ሞኪዛ ባጋፌኔ ዉሊዛ ባጋፌ ፑዴሃፔኔ ዱጌሃፔ ዪዲ ጾሳ ካዎቴꬃ ማዳን ኡታና።BSBBSB: People will come from east and west and north and south, and will recline at the table in the kingdom of God.
29. 30GMVEሄኮ ጉዬን ዲዛይታፔ ባጋይቲ ሲንꬄ ኣꬋና፥ ሲንꬃን ዲዛይታፔ ባጋይቲ ጉዬ ኣꬋናይቲ ዴቴስ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: And indeed, some who are last will be first, and some who are first will be last.”
30. 31GMVEሄ ዎዴ ፋርሳዌታፔ ኢሲ ኢሲ ኣሲ ዪዲ፥ «ሄርዶሲ ኔና ዎꬋናስ ኮይዛ ጊሻስ ሃይሳፌ ዴንዳ ኪቻ» ጊዳ።BSBBSB: At that very hour, some Pharisees came to Jesus and told Him, “Leave this place and get away, because Herod wants to kill You.”
31. 32GMVEዬሱሲ ኢስታስ፥ «ታኒ ቡሮ፥ ‹ሃቺኔ ዎንቶ ዳይዳንꬃታ ኣሳፔ ኬሳና፤ ሃርጊዛይታካ ፓꬃና፤ ሄꬓንꬆ ጋላስ ታ ቆፋሶ ታ ጋꬃና› ጊዴስ ጊዲ ሄ ዎራካናስ ዮቲቴ።BSBBSB: But Jesus replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘Look, I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.’
32. 33GMVEጊዶ ኣቲን ናቤይ ዬሩሳላሜፔ ሃራሶን ሃይቃናስ ቤሶንታ ጊሻስ ሃቺኔ ዎንቶ ዎንቶፔይንካ ታ ሲንꬄ ቡስ ጉጃና።BSBBSB: Nevertheless, I must keep going today and tomorrow and the next day, for it is not admissible for a prophet to perish outside of Jerusalem.
33. 34GMVE«ሃኔ ዬሩሳላሜ ናቤታ ዎꬊዛሬ! ኔኮ ኪቴቲዳይታ ሹቻራ ጫዲዛሬ! ኩቶይ ባ ጪዬታ ባ ቄፌ ጋርስ ሺሺዛ ማላ ኔ ናይታ ሺሻናስ ኣፑን ዎዴ ኮያዲናሺን ኔ ጊዲኮ ኣካይ ጋዳሳ።BSBBSB: O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those sent to her, how often I have longed to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were unwilling!
34. 35GMVEሄኮ ኢንቴ ኬꬃይ ካይዚዴስ፤ ታ ኢንቴስ ዮታይስ፥ ‹ጎዳ ሱንꬃን ዪዛዴይ ኣንጄቲዴስ› ኢንቴ ጋና ዎዴይ ጋካናሼ ናምኣንꬆ ታና ቤዬኬታ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Look, your house is left to you desolate. And I tell you that you will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
