GofaBerean Standard Bible

1. 1GOFEየሱስነ እያ ታማረት አባ ፕንድ፥ ገርገሶነ ቢታ ጋክዶሶና።BSBBSB: On the other side of the sea, they arrived in the region of the Gerasenes.
2. 2GOFEየሱሲ ዎጎሉዋፐ ዎꬍያ ዎደ ቱና አያናይ ኦይክዳ እስ ኡራይ ዱፎፐ ከይድ እያራ ጋሄትስ።BSBBSB: As soon as Jesus got out of the boat, He was met by a man with an unclean spirit, who was coming from the tombs.
3. 3GOFEሄ ኡራይ አቅ ፔእድ ደኤይ ዱፎና። እያ ኦንካ ሳንꬃላታን ቃቻናዉ ዳንዳኤና።BSBBSB: This man had been living in the tombs and could no longer be restrained, even with chains.
4. 4GOFEእ ዳሮ ቶሆ ዱꬃንነ ሳንꬃላታን ቃሸትድ ደኤስ። ሽን ሳንꬃላታ ዱሰረꬄስ፥ ዱꬃ መንረꬄስ። እያ ተቃናዉ ዳንዳእያ ኦንካ ባዋ።BSBBSB: Though he was often bound with chains and shackles, he had broken the chains and shattered the shackles. Now there was no one with the strength to subdue him.
5. 5GOFEእ ቃማነ ጋላስ ሄ ዱፉዋንነ ደረ ቦላ ዋሴስ፥ ባ አሳተꬃ ሹቻን ጋሬስ።BSBBSB: Night and day in the tombs and in the mountains he kept crying out and cutting himself with stones.
6. 6GOFEየሱሳ ሃሆን በእዳ ዎደ ዎፅ ብድ እያ ስንꬃን ጉልባትስ።BSBBSB: When the man saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees before Him.
7. 7GOFEሄ ኡራይ ባ ቃላ ꬎቁ ኦꬅድ፥ “ኡባፈ ቦላ ፆሳ ናአዉ የሱሳ፥ ነናነ ታና አይበ ጋይ? ታና ꬋይሶና መላ ታኒ ነና ፆሳ ሱንꬃን ዎሳይስ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: And he shouted in a loud voice, “What do You want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You before God not to torture me!”
8. 8GOFEእ ሄሳ ግዳይ የሱሲ እያ፥ “ላ ሀ ቱና አያናዉ፥ ሀ አድያፈ ከያ” ያግዳ ግሾሳ።BSBBSB: For Jesus had already declared, “Come out of this man, you unclean spirit!”
9. 9GOFEየሱሲ እያኮ፥ “ነ ሱንꬃይ ኦኔ?” ያግድ ኦይችስ። እ፥ “ኑኒ ዳሮ ግድያ ግሾ፥ ታ ሱንꬃይ ሌግዮና” ያግስ።BSBBSB: “What is your name?” Jesus asked. “My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.”
10. 10GOFEቱና አያናት ባንታና ሄ ቢታፈ ከስ የዶና መላ የሱሳ ምንꬅድ ዎስዶሶና።BSBBSB: And he begged Jesus repeatedly not to send them out of that region.
11. 11GOFEሄ ደርያ ቦላ ዳሮ ጉዱንꬆ ዉደይ ሄመቴስ።BSBBSB: There on the nearby hillside a large herd of pigs was feeding.
12. 12GOFEቱና አያናት የሱሳኮ፥ “ኑና ህን ጉዱንꬆ ዉድያኮ የዳርክ፥ ኤንታን ብድ ገሎስ” ያግድ ዎስዶሶና።BSBBSB: So the demons begged Jesus, “Send us to the pigs, so that we may enter them.”
13. 13GOFEየሱሲ ኤንታኮ፥ “ቢተ” ያግስ። ያትን ቱና አያናት አድያፈ ከይድ ጉዱንꬆታን ገልዶሶና። ናምኡ ሙኩሉ ግድያ ጉዱንꬆ ዉደይ አፎ ዶናራ ድርግድ ብድ አባን ገልድ ምተትዶሶና።BSBBSB: He gave them permission, and the unclean spirits came out and went into the pigs, and the herd of about two thousand rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the water.
14. 14GOFEጉዱንꬆ ዉድያ ሄመይሳት ባቃት ብድ ሀንዳባ ካታማንነ ጋፃርያን ኦድዶሶና። ያትን አሳይ ሀንዳባ በአናዉ ከይዶሶና።BSBBSB: Those tending the pigs ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened.
15. 15GOFEአሳይ የሱሳኮ ያ ዎደ ቱና አያናን ኦይከትዳ ኡራ በእዶሶና። እ ባ ዎዛናኮ ስሚድ፥ ማኦ ማእድ፥ ያን ኡትዳይሳ በእዳ ዎደ ኡባይ ያይዶሶና።BSBBSB: When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons sitting there, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
16. 16GOFEሄሳ በእዳ አሳት ቱና አያናት ኦይክዳ ኡራ ቦላነ ጉዱንꬆታ ቦላ ሀንዳባ ኡባ አሳስ ኦድዶሶና።BSBBSB: Those who had seen it described what had happened to the demon-possessed man and also to the pigs.
17. 17GOFEሄሳ ግሾ፥ አሳይ ባንታ ቢታፈ የሱሲ ባና መላ ዎስዶሶና።BSBBSB: And the people began to beg Jesus to leave their region.
18. 18GOFEየሱሲ ዎጎሉዋን ገልያ ዎደ ካሰ ቱና አያናይ ኦይክድ የድዳ ኡራይ፥ የሱሳ ካላናዉ እያ ዎስስ።BSBBSB: As He was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed by the demons begged to go with Him.
19. 19GOFEሽን የሱሲ እፅድ እያኮ፥ “ነ ሶ ስማዳ፥ ጎዳይ ነዉ አይ መላ ግታባ ኦꬅዳኮነ ነዉ አይ መላ ኬህዳኮ ነ ሶ አሳስ ኦዳ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: But Jesus would not allow him. “Go home to your own people,” He said, “and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and what mercy He has shown you.”
20. 20GOFEኡራይ ብድ ታሙ ካታማ ጌተትያ በሳን ዩይድ፥ የሱሲ ባዉ አይ መላ ግታባ ኦꬅዳኮ ኦድስ። እ ኦድዳይሳ ስእዳ አሳ ኡባይ ማላለትዶሶና።BSBBSB: So the man went away and began to proclaim throughout the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And everyone was amazed.
21. 21GOFEየሱሲ ስሚድ፥ ዎጎሉዋን ገልድ፥ አባ ፕንዳፐ ጉየ ዳሮ አሳይ አባ ጋፃን እያ ዩሹዋን ሺቅዶሶና።BSBBSB: When Jesus had again crossed by boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered around Him beside the sea.
22. 22GOFEእያሮሳ ጌተትያ አይሁደ ዎሳ ኬꬃ ሀላቃታፐ እሶይ፥ የሱሳ በእዳ ዎደ እያኮ ይድ እያ ቶሁዋ ቦላBSBBSB: A synagogue leader named Jairus arrived, and seeing Jesus, he fell at His feet
23. 23GOFEኩንድድ፥ “ታ ናእያ ሀርጋዳ ሀይቃና ሀናዉሱ። እያ ፓፃዳ ደአና መላ ያዳ ነ ኩሽያ እ ቦላ ዎꬃርክ” ያግድ የሱሳ ምንꬅድ ዎስስ።BSBBSB: and pleaded with Him urgently, “My little daughter is near death. Please come and place Your hands on her, so that she will be healed and live.”
24. 24GOFEየሱሲ እያሮሳራ ብስ። እ ብሽን ዳሮ አሳይ እያ ካልድ ኡንኤꬅዶሶና።BSBBSB: So Jesus went with him, and a large crowd followed and pressed around Him.
25. 25GOFEታማነ ናምኡ ላይꬅ እፔ ሱꬅ ꬎሂያ እስ ማጫስያ ደአዉሱ።BSBBSB: And a woman was there who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years.
26. 26GOFEዳሮ አክመት እዮ አክምዶሶና፥ ሽን እያ ፓፃ ካኤታሱ። እያ ባ ሚሽያ ኡባ ዉርስንካ እዉ ሃ ኢትስፐ አትሽን፥ አይኮካ ማድቤና።BSBBSB: She had borne much agony under the care of many physicians and had spent all she had, but to no avail. Instead, her condition had only grown worse.
27. 27GOFEሄ ማጫስያ የሱሳባ ስአዳ፥ አሳ ካንꬃዳ የሱሳ ጉየራ ያዳ እያ ማኡዋ ቦቻሱ።BSBBSB: When the woman heard about Jesus, she came up through the crowd behind Him and touched His cloak.
28. 28GOFEእያ፥ “ታኒ ሀር አቶሽን እያ ማኡዋ ቦችያኮ ፓፃና” ጋዳ ቆፓሱ።BSBBSB: For she kept saying, “If only I touch His garments, I will be healed.”
29. 29GOFEኢፐ ጎግያ ሱꬃይ ኢራካ ኤቅ አግስ። እያ ባ ዋያፐ ፓፅዳይሳ ባ አሳተꬃን ኤራሱ።BSBBSB: Immediately her bleeding stopped, and she sensed in her body that she was healed of her affliction.
30. 30GOFEየሱሲ ባፐ ዎልቅ ከይዳይሳ ባ ሁጰን ኤርድ፥ ኤለስድ ዳሮ አሳ ግዶን ጉየ ስሚድ፥ “ታ ማኡዋ ቦችዳይ ኦኔ?” ያግስ።BSBBSB: At once Jesus was aware that power had gone out from Him. Turning to the crowd, He asked, “Who touched My garments?”
31. 31GOFEእያ ታማረት፥ “አሳይ ነና ሱገይሳ በአሸ፥ ‘ዎይጋዳ ታና ኦነ ቦችዳይ ያጋይ?’ ” ያግዶሶና።BSBBSB: His disciples answered, “You can see the crowd pressing in on You, and yet You ask, ‘Who touched Me?’”
32. 32GOFEየሱሲ ሄሳ ኦን ኦꬅዳኮ በአናዉ ዩሽ አꬅ ፄልስ።BSBBSB: But He kept looking around to see who had done this.
33. 33GOFEሽን ማጫስያ ባዉ ሀንዳባ ኤራዳ፥ ያሻን ኮኮራሸ ያዳ የሱሳ ስንꬃን ጉፋናሱ፤ ቃስ ሀንዳባ ኡባ ቱማ እያዉ ኦዳሱ።BSBBSB: Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him trembling in fear, and she told Him the whole truth.
34. 34GOFEያንን፥ የሱሲ ኢኮ፥ “ታ ናተ፥ ነና ነ አማኖይ ፓꬅስ፥ ሳሮን ባ፥ ነ ዋያፐካ ፓፃ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: “Daughter,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be free of your affliction.”
35. 35GOFEየሱሲ ቡሮ ሄሳ ኦድሽን፥ አይሁደ ዎሳ ኬꬃ ሀላቃ ሶፐ ኪተትዳ አሳት ይድ፥ “ነ ናእያ ሀይቃሱ፥ አስታማርያ አይስ ዳቡርሳይ?” ያግዶሶና።BSBBSB: While He was still speaking, messengers from the house of Jairus arrived and said, “Your daughter is dead; why bother the Teacher anymore?”
36. 36GOFEሽን የሱሲ ኤንቲ ገይሳ ስእድ፥ አይሁደ ዎሳ ኬꬃ ሀላቃኮ፥ “አማኖ ፃላላ አማናፐ አትሽን፥ ባቦፋ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: But Jesus overheard their conversation and said to Jairus, “Do not be afraid; just believe.”
37. 37GOFEየሱሲ ጰፅሮሳፐ፥ ያይቆባፐነ ያይቆባ እሻ ዮሃንሳፐ ሀር ኦንካ ባና ካሎና መላ ድግስ።BSBBSB: And He did not allow anyone to accompany Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James.
38. 38GOFEኤንቲ አይሁደ ዎሳ ኬꬃ ሀላቃ ሶ ጋክያ ዎደ የሱሲ አሳይ ካሀ ꬋይድ ዬከይሳነ ዘሌለይሳ በእስ።BSBBSB: When they arrived at the house of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw the commotion and the people weeping and wailing loudly.
39. 39GOFEገልድ አሳኮ፥ “አይስ ካሀ ꬋይድ ዬከቲ? ናእያ ꬍስካሱፐ አትሽን፥ ሀይቃቡኩ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: He went inside and asked, “Why all this commotion and weeping? The child is not dead, but asleep.”
40. 40GOFEአሳይ እያ ቦላ ሚጭስ። ሽን አሳ ኡባ ካረ ከስድ፥ ናኤ አዋ፥ አይዉነ ሄꬑ ታማረታ ባራ ኤክድ ናእያ ደእያሱዋ ገልስ።BSBBSB: And they laughed at Him. After He had put them all outside, He took the child’s father and mother and His own companions, and went in to see the child.
41. 41GOFEየሱሲ ናኤ ኩሽያ ኦይክድ፥ “ፃልታ፥ ቁም” (ጉꬃ ናተ፥ ነና ጋይስ ደንዳ) ያግስ።BSBBSB: Taking her by the hand, Jesus said, “Talitha koum!” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”
42. 42GOFEናእያ ኤለሳ ደንዳ ኤቃዳ ሄመታሱ። እያ ታማነ ናምኡ ላይꬃ ናአ። ሄሳን አሳይ ዳሮ ማላለትዶሶና።BSBBSB: Immediately the girl got up and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). And at once they were utterly astounded.
43. 43GOFEየሱሲ ሄሳ ኤንቲ ኦደስካ ኦዶና መላ ኤንታ ምንꬅ ኪትስ። ኤንቲ እዉ ምያባ እማና መላ ኦድስ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus gave strict orders that no one should know about this, and He told them to give her something to eat.
