9 UDB પછી શેતાન ઈસુને યરુશાલેમમાં લઈ ગયો. તેણે તેમને ભક્તિસ્થાનના સૌથી ઊંચા ભાગ પર બેસાડ્યા અને કહ્યું કે, "જો તમે ખરેખર ઈશ્વરના પુત્ર છો, તો તમે અહીંથી નીચે કૂદકો મારો. 35 UDB ઈસુએ દુષ્ટાત્માને ધમકાવ્યો, અને કહ્યું, "શાંત રહે અને તેનામાંથી બહાર જતો રહે!" દુષ્ટાત્માએ લોકો મધ્યે તે માણસને જમીન પર પાડી દીધો અને તેને નુકસાન કર્યા વગર તેમાંથી બહાર નીકળી ગયો. BSB BSB: But Jesus rebuked the demon. “Be silent!” He said. “Come out of him!” At this, the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without harming him.

BSB BSB: All the people were overcome with amazement and asked one another, “What is this message? With authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”

BSB BSB: Demons also came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But He rebuked the demons and would not allow them to speak, because they knew He was the Christ.
42 UDB વહેલી સવારે ઈસુ તે ઘર છોડીને એકાંત સ્થળે પ્રાર્થના કરવા માટે ગયા. લોકોનું ટોળું તેમને શોધતું હતું, અને જ્યારે તેઓ તેમને મળ્યા ત્યારે તેઓએ તેમને વિનંતી કરી કે તેઓ તેમને છોડીને ન જાય.
