12 UDB બાદમાં યોહાનના શિષ્યો જેલમાં ગયા, યોહાનનું શરીર લીધું અને તેને દફનાવ્યુ. ત્યાર બાદ તેઓ ગયા અને જે બન્યું હતું તે ઈસુને કહ્યું. BSB BSB: Then John’s disciples came and took his body and buried it. And they went and informed Jesus.
13 UDB ઈસુએ તે સમાચાર સાંભળ્યા પછી, તેઓ માત્ર પોતાના શિષ્યોને લઈને ગાલીલ સમુદ્રમાં હોડી દ્વારા એવા સ્થળે ગયા જ્યાં કોઈ રહેતું ન હતું. જ્યારે ટોળાએ સાંભળ્યું કે તેઓ ક્યાં ગયા છે, ત્યારે તેઓ પોતાનાં નગરો છોડીને સમુદ્ર કિનારે તેમની પાછળ ગયા. BSB BSB: When Jesus heard about John, He withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. But the crowds found out about it and followed Him on foot from the towns.
14 UDB જ્યારે ઈસુ કિનારે આવ્યા, ત્યારે તેમણે જોયું કે મોટું ટોળું તેમની રાહ જોઈ રહ્યું છે. તેમને તેઓ માટે દુઃખ થયું, અને તેઓમાં જેઓ માંદા હતા તેઓને તેમણે સાજા કર્યા. BSB BSB: When He stepped ashore and saw a large crowd, He had compassion on them and healed their sick.

BSB BSB: When evening came, the disciples came to Him and said, “This is a desolate place, and the hour is already late. Dismiss the crowds so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.”
16 UDB પરંતુ ઈસુએ શિષ્યોને કહ્યું, "ખોરાક મેળવવા માટે તેઓ જાય તેની જરૂર નથી. તેના બદલે, તમે પોતે તેમને કઇંક ખાવા માટે આપો!" BSB BSB: “They do not need to go away,” Jesus replied. “You give them something to eat.”
17 UDB શિષ્યોએ કહ્યું, "પરંતુ અહીં અમારી પાસે માત્ર પાંચ રોટલી અને બે શેકેલી માછલી છે!" BSB BSB: “We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.
18 UDB તેમણે કહ્યું, "તેને મારી પાસે લાવો!" BSB BSB: “Bring them here to Me,” Jesus said.
19 UDB જે લોકોનું ટોળું ત્યાં એકત્ર થયું હતું તેમને ઈસુએ ઘાસ પર બેસવા કહ્યું. પછી તેમણે પાંચ રોટલી અને બે માછલી લીધી. તેમણે સ્વર્ગ તરફ જોયું, તેને માટે ઈશ્વરનો આભાર માન્યો, અને તેના ટુકડા કર્યા. પછી તે ટુકડા તેમણે પોતાના શિષ્યોને આપ્યા, અને તેઓએ તેને ટોળામાં પીરસ્યા. BSB BSB: And He directed the crowds to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, He spoke a blessing. Then He broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.
20 UDB જ્યાં સુધી તેઓ ધરાયા નહિ ત્યાં સુધી સર્વ લોકોએ ખાધું. પછી કેટલાંક લોકોએ તે વધેલા ટુકડા ભેગા કર્યા અને તેનાથી બાર ટોપલીઓ ભરી. BSB BSB: They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
21 UDB તે સમયે સ્ત્રીઓ અને બાળકો ઉપરાંત આશરે પાંચ હજાર પુરુષો જમ્યા હતા! BSB BSB: About five thousand men were fed, besides women and children.
22 UDB ત્યારબાદ તરત, ઈસુએ શિષ્યોને હોડીમાં બેસવા કહ્યું અને તેમની અગાઉ ગાલીલ સમુદ્રની બીજી બાજુ જવા માટે કહ્યું. તે સમય દરમિયાન, તેઓ ટોળાને ઘરે મોકલતા હતા. BSB BSB: Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of Him to the other side, while He dismissed the crowds.

24 UDB તે સમય દરમિયાન શિષ્યો કિનારેથી ઘણે દૂર હતા. જે દિશામાં શિષ્યો હંકારવા પ્રયત્ન કરતા હતા તેનાથી વિરુદ્ધ દિશામાં ભારે પવન ફૂંકાતો હતો; તે પવને મોટાં મોજાં ઉપજાવ્યાં હતાં. એ મોજાં હોડીને આગળ અને પાછળ ઉછાળતાં હતાં. BSB BSB: but the boat was already far from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.
25 UDB પછી ઈસુ પહાડ પરથી ઉતરીને સમુદ્રએ આવ્યા. સવારના ત્રણથી છ વાગ્યાની આસપાસ ઈસુ પાણી પર ચાલીને હોડી તરફ ગયા. BSB BSB: During the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went out to them, walking on the sea.
26 UDB જ્યારે શિષ્યોએ તેમને પાણી પર ચાલતા જોયા ત્યારે, તેમણે વિચાર્યું કે તે ભૂત હશે. તેઓ ગભરાઈ ગયા, અને તેઓએ ભયથી બૂમો પાડી. BSB BSB: When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost!” they said, and cried out in fear.
27 UDB તરત જ ઈસુએ તેઓને કહ્યું, "હિંમત રાખો! તે તો હું છું. ગભરાશો નહીં. BSB BSB: But Jesus spoke up at once: “Take courage! It is I. Do not be afraid.”
30 UDB પરંતુ જ્યારે પિતરે ભારે પવન પર ધ્યાન આપ્યું, ત્યારે તે ગભરાઈ ગયો. તે પાણીમાં ડૂબવા લાગ્યો અને પોકારી ઊઠ્યો, "પ્રભુ, મને બચાવો!" BSB BSB: But when he saw the strength of the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
31 UDB તરત જ ઈસુએ હાથ લાંબો કર્યો અને પિતરને પકડ્યો. તેમણે તેને કહ્યું, "તેં મારા સામર્થ્યમાં થોડો જ વિશ્વાસ કર્યો છે! તેં કેમ શંકા કરી કે હું તને ડૂબતાં નહીં બચાવું?" BSB BSB: Immediately Jesus reached out His hand and took hold of Peter. “You of little faith,” He said, “why did you doubt?”
32 UDB પછી ઈસુ અને પિતર હોડીમાં ચઢ્યા, અને તરત પવન ફૂંકાતો બંધ થયો. BSB BSB: And when they had climbed back into the boat, the wind died down.
34 UDB જ્યારે તેઓ સરોવર તરફ આગળ વધ્યા ત્યારે, તેઓ ગન્નેસારેતના નગરમાં આવ્યા. BSB BSB: When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret.
35 UDB તે પ્રદેશના લોકોએ ઈસુને ઓળખ્યા, તેથી તેઓએ લોકોને મોકલ્યા કે તેઓ તે પ્રદેશમાં રહેનારા સર્વને જાણ કરે કે ઈસુ આવ્યા છે. તેથી દરેક જેઓ બીમાર હતા તેઓ સર્વને ઈસુ પાસે લાવ્યા. BSB BSB: And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the surrounding region. People brought all the sick to Him
36 UDB બીમાર લોકો તેમને વિનંતી કરતા કે તેઓ તેમને સ્પર્શ કરવા દે અથવા માત્ર તેમના વસ્ત્રની કિનારીને અડકવા દે જેથી તેઓ સાજા થાય. જે બધા તેમને અથવા તેમના વસ્ત્રની કિનારીને અડક્યા તેઓ સાજા થયા. BSB BSB: and begged Him just to let them touch the fringe of His cloak. And all who touched Him were healed.
