4 ULB તું જ તારા ક્રોધથી તારી જાતને દુ:ખ પહોંચાડી રહ્યો છે. શું તારા માટે પૃથ્વીનો ત્યાગ કરવામાં આવશે? અથવા શું ખડકને પોતાને સ્થાનેથી ખસેડવામાં આવશે? BSB BSB: You who tear yourself in anger—should the earth be forsaken on your account, or the rocks be moved from their place?
5 ULB હા, દુષ્ટ લોકોનો દીવો હોલવી નાખવામાં આવશે; તેનો અગ્નિ બળતો બંધ થઈ જશે. BSB BSB: Indeed, the lamp of the wicked is extinguished; the flame of his fire does not glow.
6 ULB તેના ઘરમાં અજવાળું અંધકારરૂપ થશે; તેની પાસેનો તેનો દીવો હોલવી નાખવામાં આવશે. BSB BSB: The light in his tent grows dark, and the lamp beside him goes out.
7 ULB તેનાં પગલાં મંદ પડી જશે. તેની પોતાની યોજનાઓ તેને નીચે પાડશે. BSB BSB: His vigorous stride is shortened, and his own schemes trip him up.
8 ULB તેના પોતાના પગોએ તેને જાળમાં નાખ્યો છે; તે જાળમાં ગૂંચવાયા કરે છે. BSB BSB: For his own feet lead him into a net, and he wanders into its mesh.
9 ULB ફાંદો તેના પગની પાની પકડી લેશે, અને ફાંદો તેને ફસાવશે. BSB BSB: A trap seizes his heel; a snare grips him.
10 ULB જમીનમાં તેને સારુ જાળ; અને માર્ગમાં તેને ફસાવવાને સારુ ખાડો ખોદાયેલો છે. BSB BSB: A noose is hidden in the ground, and a trap lies in his path.
11 ULB ચારેકોર ભય તેને ગભરાવશે; તે તેની પાછળ પડશે. BSB BSB: Terrors frighten him on every side and harass his every step.
12 ULB ભૂખથી તેનું બળ ક્ષીણ થઈ જશે. વિનાશ તેની પડખે તૈયાર રહેશે. BSB BSB: His strength is depleted, and calamity is ready at his side.
13 ULB તે તેના શરીરની ચામડીને કોરી ખાશે. ભયંકર રોગ તે અવયવોને નાશ કરશે. BSB BSB: It devours patches of his skin; the firstborn of death devours his limbs.
14 ULB પોતાનો તંબુ કે જેના પર તે વિશ્વાસ રાખે છે તેમાંથી તેને ઉખેડી નાખવામાં આવશે; અને તેને ભયના રાજાની હજૂરમાં લાવવામાં આવશે. BSB BSB: He is torn from the shelter of his tent and is marched off to the king of terrors.
15 ULB જેઓ તેનાં નથી તેઓ તેના તંબુમાં વસશે; એના તંબુ પર ગંધક છાંટવામાં આવશે. BSB BSB: Fire resides in his tent; burning sulfur rains down on his dwelling.
16 ULB તેની નીચેથી મુળિયાં સુકાઈ જશે; તેની ઉપરની ડાળીઓ કાપી નંખાશે. BSB BSB: The roots beneath him dry up, and the branches above him wither away.
17 ULB તેનું સ્મરણ પૃથ્વીમાંથી નાશ પામશે. અને ગલીઓમાં તેનું નામનિશાન રહેશે નહિ. BSB BSB: The memory of him perishes from the earth, and he has no name in the land.
18 ULB પ્રકાશમાંથી તેને અંધકારમાં ધકેલી દેવામાં આવશે અને જગતમાંથી તેને હાંકી કાઢવામાં આવશે. BSB BSB: He is driven from light into darkness and is chased from the inhabited world.
19 ULB તેને કોઈ સંતાન કે પૌત્ર, પૌત્રીઓ હશે નહિ. તેના કુટુંબમાંથી કોઈ જીવતું નહિ રહે. BSB BSB: He has no offspring or posterity among his people, no survivor where he once lived.
20 ULB જેઓ પશ્ચિમમાં રહે છે તેઓ તેનાં દુર્દશાના દિવસ જોઈને આશ્ચર્ય પામશે. અને પૂર્વમાં રહેનારા પણ ભયભીત થશે. BSB BSB: Those in the west are appalled at his fate, while those in the east tremble in horror.
21 ULB નિશ્ચે દુષ્ટ લોકોનાં ઘર એવાં જ છે. જેને ઈશ્વરનું ડહાપણ નથી તેની દશા એવી જ છે. BSB BSB: Surely such is the dwelling of the wicked and the place of one who does not know God.”
