3 HGLT किसी भी बात में ठोकर का कारण न रखो, ऐसा न हो कि हमारी सेवकाई पर दोष लगे, BSB BSB: We put no obstacle in anyone’s way, so that no one can discredit our ministry.
4 HGLT बजाए इसके, हम हर बात में परमेश्वर के सेवकों के रूप में स्वयं ही की बड़ाई करते हैं; बहुत धीरज में, क्लेशों में, सतावों में, कष्टों में, BSB BSB: Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships, and calamities;
5 HGLT मार खाने में, कैद में, दंगों में, कठिन परिश्रमों में, अनिद्रा भरी{ रातों} में, भूख में, BSB BSB: in beatings, imprisonments, and riots; in labor, sleepless nights, and hunger;
6 HGLT पवित्रता में, ज्ञान में, धैर्य में, कृपा में, पवित्र आत्मा में होकर, सच्चे प्रेम में, BSB BSB: in purity, knowledge, patience, and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love;
7 HGLT सत्य के वचन में, परमेश्वर की सामर्थ्य में; दाएँ और बाएँ हाथ{ के लिए} धार्मिकता के हथियारों के द्वारा, BSB BSB: in truthful speech and in the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left;
8 HGLT सम्मान और अपमान के द्वारा, भले समाचार और बुरे समाचार के द्वारा; धोखेबाज लगते हैं, तब पर भी सच्चे हैं; BSB BSB: through glory and dishonor, slander and praise; viewed as imposters, yet genuine;
9 HGLT अनजान होकर भी, प्रसिद्ध हैं; मरने पर होकर भी— देखो!— जीवित हैं; अनुशासित होकर भी, मार नहीं डाले जाते हैं; BSB BSB: unknown, yet well-known; dying, and yet we live on; punished, yet not killed;
10 HGLT दुःखी हैं, परन्तु सर्वदा आनन्द करते हैं; दरिद्र हैं, परन्तु बहुतों को धनी बनाते हैं; पास में कुछ नहीं होने पर भी, सब वस्तुओं पर अधिकार रखते हैं। BSB BSB: sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
11 HGLT हे कुरिन्थियों, हमारा मुख तुम्हारे लिए खुल गया है; हमारा हृदय चौड़ा हो गया है। BSB BSB: We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians. Our hearts are open wide.
12 HGLT तुम हमारी ओर से प्रतिबंधित नहीं हो, परन्तु तुम अपने स्नेह के द्वारा ही प्रतिबंधित हो; BSB BSB: It is not our affection, but yours, that is restrained.
13 HGLT और उसी के बदले{ में}— मैं बालक जानकर तुमसे बोलता हूँ— कि अपने आप को भी खोलो। BSB BSB: As a fair exchange—I speak as to my children—open wide your hearts also.
14 HGLT अविश्वासियों के साथ जुए में मत जुतो, क्योंकि धार्मिकता और अधर्म की कौन सी साझीदारी{ होती है}? या अंधकार के साथ ज्योति की कौन सी सहभागिता{ होती है}? BSB BSB: Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?
15 HGLT और बलियाल के साथ मसीह का कौन सा सामंजस्य{ होता है}? या किसी अविश्वासी के साथ एक विश्वासी जन का कौन सा भाग{ होता है}? BSB BSB: What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
16 HGLT और परमेश्वर के मंदिर का मूरतों के साथ कौन सा समझौता{ होता है}? क्योंकि हम जीवते परमेश्वर का मंदिर हैं, जैसा परमेश्वर ने कहा था:“मैं उनके मध्य में वास करूँगा, और{ उनके बीच में} चला- फिरा करूँगा; और मैं उनका परमेश्वर होऊँगा, और वे सब मेरे लोग होंगे।” BSB BSB: What agreement can exist between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.”
17 HGLT इसलिए प्रभु कहता है कि“उनके बीच में से निकल आओ, और अलग हो जाओ, और किसी भी अशुद्ध वस्तु का मत छूना,” और“मैं तुम्हारा स्वागत करूँगा।” BSB BSB: “Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
18 HGLT और सर्वशक्तिमान प्रभु कहता है कि“मैं तुम्हारे लिए पिता सा ठहरूँगा, और तुम मेरे लिए बेटे और बेटियों के समान ठहरोगे।” BSB BSB: And: “I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
