1. 1IEVहमें यह भी बताया गया है कि तुम्हारी कलीसिया में एक ऐसा व्यक्ति है जो अनैतिकता यौनाचार का जीवन जी रहा है, ऐसी अनैतिक, जिसकी अविश्वासी भी अनुमति नहीं देते हैं। वह व्यक्ति अपने पिता की पत्नी के साथ यौन सम्बंध रखता है!BSBBSB: It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is intolerable even among pagans: A man has his father’s wife.
2. 2IEVऔर तुम, अभिमान करते हो! बल्कि तुमको इस पाप पर विलाप करना चाहिए था, और इस व्यक्ति को तुम्हारी कलीसिया से निकाल देना चाहिए था।BSBBSB: And you are proud! Shouldn’t you rather have been stricken with grief and have removed from your fellowship the man who did this?

For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.
8. 8IEVइसलिए आओ हम फसह के पर्व का उत्सव मनाते हैं, और शोधन के सब नियमों का पालन करते हैं। हमें पुराना खमीर, जो अवज्ञा और दुष्टता का प्रतीक है, फेंक देना चाहिए और हमें परमेश्वर की आज्ञा का पालन करके और एक दूसरे से सच बोलकर, यह पर्व मनाना चाहिए। यदि हम ऐसा करते हैं, तो हम उस रोटी की तरह होंगे जिसमें खमीर नहीं है।BSBBSB: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with the old bread, leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and of truth.

10. 10IEVस्पष्ट रूप से मेरा अर्थ यह नहीं था कि तुम अविश्वासियों के साथ सहभागिता न करो, जो अनैतिक हैं, या जो स्वार्थी इच्छा के कारण बहुत सी चीजें चाहते हैं, या जो दूसरों से छल और धोखा करते हैं, या मूर्तियों की पूजा करते हैं। तुमको ऐसे सब लोगों से बचने के लिए इस संसार को छोड़ना होगा।BSBBSB: I was not including the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. 11. 11IEVपरन्तु मेरे कहने का अर्थ है कि तुम किसी ऐसे विश्वासी व्यक्ति से मित्रता न रखो, जो अनैतिक यौनाचार में रह रहा है। हमें अन्य पाप जैसे लालच, या मूर्तिपूजा, या दूसरों के साथ बातचीत करने में गाली देनेवाला, या एक शराबी या ठगने वाला व्यक्ति आदि को भी शामिल करना चाहिए। तुमको इन लोगों के साथ भोजन भी नहीं खाना चाहिए जो मसीह पर विश्वास करने का दावा करते हैं, फिर भी वे ऐसे भयानक काम करते हैं।BSBBSB: But now I am writing you not to associate with anyone who claims to be a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a verbal abuser, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.
12. 12IEVक्योंकि मसीह की कलीसिया के बाहर वालों का न्याय करने के लिए मैं विवश नहीं हूँ। तुम्हारा कर्तव्य है कि तुम कलीसिया के लोगों का न्याय करो।BSBBSB: What business of mine is it to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?
13. 13IEVकलीसिया के बाहर के लोगों का न्याय परमेश्वर स्वयं ही करेंगे। शास्त्र हमें आज्ञा देता है," तुम्हारे बीच में जो बुरा व्यक्ति है, उसको दूर कर दो!"BSBBSB: God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked man from among you.”
