And behold, they are eating and drinking before him, saying, ‘Long live King Adonijah!’
26 UDB परन्तु उसने मुझे या सादोक याजक या बनायाह या सुलैमान को आमंत्रित नहीं किया। BSB BSB: But me your servant he has not invited, nor Zadok the priest, nor Benaiah son of Jehoiada, nor your servant Solomon.
27 UDB क्या तूने कहा था कि उन्हें तेरे अन्य अधिकारियों को बताए बिना ऐसा करना चाहिए कि तेरे बाद कौन राजा बनेगा जब तू राजा नहीं रहेगा?" BSB BSB: Has my lord the king let this happen without informing your servant who should sit on the throne after my lord the king?”
28 UDB तब राजा दाऊद ने कहा, "बतशेबा को बोलो कि वह यहाँ दुबारा आए।" कोई उसके पास गया और उसे बताया, वह अन्दर आई और राजा के सामने खड़ी हुई। BSB BSB: Then King David said, “Call in Bathsheba for me.” So she came into the king’s presence and stood before him.

31 UDB बतशेबा ने घुटने टेक कर स्वयं को भूमि की ओर झुकाकर कहा, "हे महामहिम, मुझे आशा है कि तू चिरंजीवी रहेगा!" BSB BSB: Bathsheba bowed facedown in homage to the king and said, “May my lord King David live forever!”

37 UDB राजा दाऊद, यहोवा ने तेरी सहायता की है। हमें आशा है कि वह सुलैमान की भी सहायता करेंगे और उसको तुझसे भी बड़ा राजा बनने में सक्षम बनाएँगे।" BSB BSB: Just as the LORD was with my lord the king, so may He be with Solomon and make his throne even greater than that of my lord King David.”
39 UDB सादोक ने पवित्र तम्बू से जैतून के तेल का पात्र लिया और सुलैमान का अभिषेक किया। तब उनमें से दो ने तुरही बजाई, और सभी लोग चिल्लाने लगे, "हमें आशा है कि राजा सुलैमान युग युग तक जीयें!" BSB BSB: Zadok the priest took the horn of oil from the tabernacle and anointed Solomon. Then they blew the ram’s horn, and all the people proclaimed, “Long live King Solomon!”

BSB BSB: Now Adonijah and all his guests were finishing their feast when they heard the sound of the ram’s horn. “Why is the city in such a loud uproar?” asked Joab.
42 UDB जब वह अभी बातें कर ही रहा था, तब याजक एब्यातार का पुत्र योनातान पहुँचा अदोनिय्याह ने कहा, "अन्दर आ! तू ऐसे मनुष्य है जिस पर हम भरोसा कर सकते हैं, अत: अवश्य ही तू हमारे लिए कोई शुभ समाचार लाया होगा!" BSB BSB: As he was speaking, suddenly Jonathan the son of Abiathar the priest arrived. “Come in,” said Adonijah, “for you are a man of valor. You must be bringing good news.”

48 UDB फिर उसने कहा, 'मैं यहोवा की स्तुति करता हूँ, जिस परमेश्वर की हम इस्राएली आराधना करते हैं, क्योंकि उन्होंने मेरे पुत्रों में से एक को आज राजा बनने दिया और मुझे यह देखने की अनुमति दी है।'" BSB BSB: saying, ‘Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel! Today He has provided one to sit on my throne, and my eyes have seen it.’”
49 UDB तब अदोनिय्याह के सभी अतिथि काँप उठे, इसलिए वे सब जल्दी से उठकर चले गए और फैल गए। BSB BSB: At this, all the guests of Adonijah arose in terror and scattered.

But if evil is found in him, he will die.”
