Genesis 32 (HOY)

1याकूब भी तान हादी हुळदुन अदिक परमेश्वर उन दूत आऊक बंदकु सिकदुर.Jacob also went on his way, and the angels of God met him.

2आंदरी नोळतेला अच याकूब अंदुन, “ईद रा परमेश्वर उन दल हुन.”इदुरसाटी आव आ जागा अन हेसुर महनैम ईटदुन.When Jacob saw them, he said, “This is the camp of God.” So he named that place Mahanaim.

3आग याकूब सेईर द्याश दा, मतलब एदोम द्याश दा, तान वार्ट एसाव उन हाती तान मुंद ऊंद खबरीगोळ इक कळुदुन.Jacob sent messengers ahead of him to his brother Esau in the land of Seir, the country of Edom.

4अदिक आव आंदरी आग्या कोट्टुन, “नान प्रभु एसाव से ईद अनेत; कि नीन दास याकूब नीन से ईद अनतान, कि ना लाबान उन मान्या परदेशी आगकु ईगासताका ईत्तीन;He instructed them, “You are to say to my master Esau, ‘Your servant Jacob says: I have been staying with Laban and have remained there until now.

5अदिक नान हाती वस्ता-गोसी, गधा, मर्र-म्यांडा, अदिक दास-दासीगोळ आर अदिक ना तान प्रभु उन हाती इदुरसाटी बातणी कळीन कि नीन अनुग्रह अन नजर नान मा ईरूल.”I have oxen, donkeys, flocks, menservants, and maidservants. I have sent this message to inform my master, so that I may find favor in your sight.’”

6आ खबरीगोळ याकूब उन हाती वापस बंदकु अनली कुरतुर, “नाव नीन वार्ट एसाव उन हाती होगीदेव, अदिक आव भी नीन सांगुळ मुलाकात माळोर साटी नाक सौ लॉकुर सांगुळ बरेत्यान.”When the messengers returned to Jacob, they said, “We went to your brother Esau, and now he is coming to meet you—he and four hundred men with him.”

7आग याकूब हापाळ अंजेदुन, अदिक संकट दा बिदोदुन: अदिक ईद सोचकु, तान साथीगोळ सांगुळ, मर्र म्यांडागोळ, अदिक वस्ता गोसीगोळ, अदिक ऊँटगोळ भी अलग अलग माळकु येढ्ढ दल माळदुन,In great fear and distress, Jacob divided his people into two camps, as well as the flocks and herds and camels.

8कि अगर एसाव बंदकु पयला दल इक बडोद चालु माळ्यान, रा दुसरा दल ओळकु ऊळदोदीत.He thought, “If Esau comes and attacks one camp, then the other camp can escape.”

9बाक याकूब अंदुन, “हे यहोवा, हे नान आजा अब्राहम उन परमेश्वर, हे नान आप्प इसहाक उन परमेश्वर, नी रा नान से अंदिद कि तान द्याश अदिक जनम भूमी दा वापस होटोग, अदिक ना नींद भलाई माळाईन:Then Jacob declared, “O God of my father Abraham, God of my father Isaac, the LORD who told me, ‘Go back to your country and to your kindred, and I will make you prosper,’

10नी जो जो क्याल्सा तान करूणा अदिक सच्चाई देल तान दास इन सांगुळ माळ्या, कि ना जो तान छळी इक अच हुडुकु यरदन गांगा इन आप्पाटी ईळदीन, अदिक ईग नानव येढ्ढ दल आगेग्याव, नी ईत्ता ईत्ता क्याल्सा दा टु ऊंद इन भी लायक रा हैलेच.I am unworthy of all the kindness and faithfulness You have shown Your servant. Indeed, with only my staff I came across the Jordan, but now I have become two camps.

11नान विनती केळकु नान वार्ट एसाव उन कय देल नानी ऊळ्स ना रा आऊन से अंजतीन, यागलु हिंग आग बाळुल कि आव बंदकु नानी अदिक मोय इन सांगुळ चिकोरी भी कोंद कोमुल.Please deliver me from the hand of my brother Esau, for I am afraid that he may come and attack me and the mothers and children with me.

12नी रा अंद्या, कि ना सही दा नीन भलाई माळाईन, अदिक नीन वंश इक समुद्र अन धुळाकणगोळ घाई हापाळ वाळुसाईन, जो हापाळ संख्या अन कारण आळुकु आगतीदील.”But You have said, ‘I will surely make you prosper, and I will make your offspring like the sand of the sea, too numerous to count.’”

13आव आ दिन इन ईळ्ल्क अल्या ईत्तुन; अदिक जो येनारा आऊन हाती ईरोद अदुर दा टु तान वार्ट एसाव उक भेंट कोळोर साटी छाट्स छाट्सकु तेगदुन;Jacob spent the night there, and from what he had brought with him, he selected a gift for his brother Esau:

14मतलब येढ्ढ सौ मर्रगोळ, अदिक ईप्पत व्हातगोळ, अदिक येढ्ढ सौ म्यांडागोळ, अदिक ईप्पत म्यांडा,200 female goats, 20 male goats, 200 ewes, 20 rams,

15अदिक पाड्डागोळ सांगुळ हाल कोळावाळा तीस ऊँटनीगोळी, अदिक चालीस गोसी, अदिक हत्त वस्ता, अदिक ईप्पत गधागोळी अदिक अदुरव ईप्पत पाड्डा.30 milk camels with their young, 40 cows, 10 bulls, 20 female donkeys, and 10 male donkeys.

16ईवरी आव झुंड माळकु, तान दासगोळी कोटकु आंदुर से अंदुन, “नान मुंद होगी; अदिक झुंडगोळ बीच दा अंतर ईटी.”He entrusted them to his servants in separate herds and told them, “Go on ahead of me, and keep some distance between the herds.”

17बाक आव दुसरा झुंडवाळा अक ईद आग्या कोट्टुन, “याग नान वार्ट एसाव नीनी सिक्यान, अदिक केळली कुरतान, ‘नी यार दास हुय, अदिक अंदकु आगतद, अदिक ईंदुर नीन मुंद मुंद आर, आंदुर यारोर हुळ.’”He instructed the one in the lead, “When my brother Esau meets you and asks, ‘To whom do you belong, where are you going, and whose animals are these before you?’

18आग अनेत, “ईव नीन दास याकूब उन हु. हे नान प्रभु एसाव, ईव भेंट नीन इक कोळोर साटी नीन हाती कळुकु आग्याव, अदिक आव खुद भी नाम हिंद हिंद बरेत्यान.”then you are to say, ‘They belong to your servant Jacob. They are a gift, sent to my lord Esau. And behold, Jacob is behind us.’”

19याकूब ईदा मात दुसरा अदिक तिसरा अदिक आ सप्पा से अंदुन, जो आंदुर हिंद हिंद बरोर. हिंग अच आग्या कोट्टुन कि याग एसाव नीम इक सिकुल आग ईदा प्रकार देल आऊन से अनेतीर.He also instructed the second, the third, and all those following behind the herds: “When you meet Esau, you are to say the same thing to him.

20नीव ईद अनेतीर, “नीन वार्ट याकूब हिंद बरेत्यान.” यतिकी याकूब सोचदुन कि, “ईस भेंट कोटकु ना एसाव उक खुश माळ बुळाईन. ईदुर बाद्दा ना आऊन सांगुळ होगाईन, आग जरूर, आव नानी माफ माळ कोंडान.”You are also to say, ‘Look, your servant Jacob is right behind us.’” For he thought, “I will appease Esau with the gift that is going before me. After that I can face him, and perhaps he will accept me.”

21इदुरसाटी अद झुंड इन भेंट याकूब उन से पयला आपाटी ईळुत, अदिक आव खुद आ ईळ्लक इक ड्यारा दा ईत्तुन.So Jacob’s gifts went on before him, while he spent the night in the camp.

22अदा ईळ्ल्की आव येद्दुन अदिक तान येढ्ढु हिंग्सुर, अदिक येढ्ढु दासीगोळ, अदिक हनुन चिकोरगोळी सांगुळ हुडुकु घाट दा टु यब्बोक गांगा अन्द आप्पाटी ईळदोदुन.During the night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two maidservants, and his eleven sons, and crossed the ford of the Jabbok.

23याकूब सप्पा मुंदरी गांगा अन्द आप्पाटी कळु कोंडुन.He took them and sent them across the stream, along with all his possessions.

24अदिक याकूब अल्या रूकसेदुन. ऊंद आरी अल बंदकु व्हातुर ताका आऊन से मल्लयुद्ध माळतेला ईत्तुन.So Jacob was left all alone, and there a man wrestled with him until daybreak.

25याग आ आरी नोळदुन कि आव याकूब उक हारूस सकालुन आग आव याकूब उन जांघ इन नस इक मुटदुन अदिक मल्लयुद्ध माळ्त माळ्त अच आऊन नस येरेत.When the man saw that he could not overpower Jacob, he struck the socket of Jacob’s hip and dislocated it as they wrestled.

26ईद आगदुर मा आ मंळसा याकूब से अंदुन, “ईग नानी होगगोळ.” लेकीन याकूब आ मंळसा से अंदुन, “ईला. ना नीनी आगासताका होगगोळालीन, यागासताका नी नानी आशीष कोळतीदील.”Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

27आग आव याकूब से केळदुन, “नींद हेसुर येन आद?” आव अंदुन, “याकूब.”“What is your name?” the man asked. “Jacob,” he replied.

28आग आ मंळसा आऊन से अंदुन, “ईग टु नींद हेसुर याकूब ईला बल्की इस्त्राएल ईत्तीत, यतिकी परमेश्वर से अदिक मंळसागोळ से मेहनत माळतेला नी जीकसेग्या.”Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with men, and you have prevailed.”

29आग याकूब आ मंळसा से अंदुन, “कृपया नी नानी तान हेसुर हेळ.” आ मंळसा उत्तर कोट्टुन, “येन माळ्या नान हेसुर जान्सकु?” अदिक आग आ मंळसा अल्या याकूब उक आशीष कोट्टुन.And Jacob requested, “Please tell me your name.” But he replied, “Why do you ask my name?” Then he blessed Jacob there.

30आग याकूब ईद अनकु आ जागा अन हेसुर पनीएल ईटदुन; “परमेश्वर उक आमने सामने नोळदुर मा भी नान जीव ऊळदोत.”So Jacob named the place Peniel, saying, “Indeed, I have seen God face to face, and yet my life was spared.”

31पनीएल इन हाती टु नळुत नळुत सूर्य उदय आगेत, अदिक आव जाँघ इन नस यरदुर देल लंगळुसतोगोन.The sun rose above him as he passed by Penuel, and he was limping because of his hip.

32ई घटना अक याद माळतेला इस्त्राएल वंश ईंद ताका जाँघ इन पुट्टा अन मांसपेशी इक तिनालुर यतिकी ईदा मांसपेशी मा याकूब उक दुख आगीत. यतिकी आ मंळसा याकूब उन जाँघ इक मुटीदुन.Therefore to this day the Israelites do not eat the tendon attached to the socket of the hip, because the socket of Jacob’s hip was struck near that tendon.
