Kami manjadi tontonan bagi dunio, bagi malaikat-malaikat, ba bagi umat manusio. BSB BSB: For it seems to me that God has displayed us apostles at the end of the procession, like prisoners appointed for death. 10 PBDS Kamilah nang bodo demi Kristus, tatapi kaulah nang bijaksana doop Kristus. Kamilah nang lamah, tatapi kaulah nang koat. Kau koo nang terhormat, tatapi kami koo nang hina BSB BSB: We are fools for Christ, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are honored, but we are dishonored.

BSB BSB: Even if you have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.
16 PBDS Jadi aku mendorong kau untuk meneladani aku. BSB BSB: Therefore I urge you to imitate me.
17 PBDS Nangkoo lah sabab'e aku ngutus Timotius ka kau, anakku nang terkasih ba setia doop Tuhan. Io akan ngigatot ka kau caro-caro ku doop Kristus, sabagaimae aku ngajarot ne'ido dimaepun ba di satiap jemaat. BSB BSB: That is why I have sent you Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in the Lord. He will remind you of my way of life in Christ Jesus, which is exactly what I teach everywhere in every church.
18 PBDS Kanio beberape ka antoro ngu manjadi sombong, batindak saolah-olah aku ino suoh atokng ka kau. BSB BSB: Some of you have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you.
19 PBDS Tatapi aku kanio mao atokng ka kau, kade Tuhan menghendaki. Jadi aku nahui' buke kahe ngato'ot ne'ido nyian nang sombong, tatapi aku ugo nanang kakuatan ne'ido. BSB BSB: But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord is willing, and then I will find out not only what these arrogant people are saying, but what power they have.
20 PBDS Kareno kerajaan Allah ino barisi pakato'ot tatapi kuasa. BSB BSB: For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.
21 PBDS Damio lah nang kau mao'an? Memang nge aku nang atokng ngo ka kau' make cambuk atau make kasih ka doop roh kalamut'ot? BSB BSB: Which do you prefer? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and with a gentle spirit?
