8Tapi, kamaru'-kamaru' nang ku kasihi', ame kaupootn kanyatootn nang sege nyian bahawo bagi Tuhan,sa ari angayo satibu tahutn, lalu saribu tahutn angayo sa ari.Beloved, do not let this one thing escape your notice: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

9Tuhan ino' suoh balambat-lambat manuhi' janji-E angayo nang di nganggap sangape urokng akibat katalambatotn. 11Kalo samuae mao' diancurotn, ba caro nyian, jamae ge saaruse kami idupo'? Buke ge kau arus idup suci lalu ngabdi ka Allah,Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to conduct yourselves in holiness and godliness

12sambil nganti'otn ba ngancangi'ari kaatangan Allah? Pado ari koo, angit pasti ancur di api, lalu samuo bando angit maleleh ka angatotn.as you anticipate and hasten the coming of the day of God, when the heavens will be destroyed by fire and the elements will melt in the heat.

13Karamo, sasuai ba janji-E, diri' nganti'otn angit ba dunio barahu, tampat urokng-urokng banar diopmo'.But in keeping with God’s promise, we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

14Kamaru-kamaru' nang ku kasihi', karamo diri' nganti'otn hal nyian, jadi barusoholah sakoat tanago supayo kito' Io dapati' ino', badoso, ino' caco,lalu badanai ba Allah.Anggaplah kasabaran Tuhan jadi kasampatotn diri' sa' narimo' kasalamatotn. Sabayo angayo nang Paulus, kamaru' takasih diri', tulisotn ka kau ngan hikmat nang dikaruniootn Allah ka io.Therefore, beloved, as you anticipate these things, make every effort to be found at peace—spotless and blameless in His sight.

15Anggaplah kasabarotn Tuhan jadi kasampatotn diri' sa' narimo' kasalamatotn, sabayo angayo nang Paulus, kamaru' takasih, diri', tulisotn ka kau ngan hikmat nang dikaruniaan Alkah ka io.Consider also that our Lord’s patience brings salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom God gave him.

16Io ugo ngalakarotn hal-hal nyian doopm samuo surate nang lain. Memang ado hal-hal nang sulit dingarati lalu di putar balikotn urokng-urokng nang bodo ba nang lamoh imane. Amelah kito' janto' ampat ka iman ngu nang koat.Therefore, beloved, since you already know these things, be on your guard so that you will not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure standing.

18Tapi, batumuhlah doopm anugrah ba panganalotn akan Tuhan ba zJuru Salamat diri', Yesus Karistus Bagi Iolh kamuliootn, kanio sampe salama-lamae! amin.But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
