1 ULB ಆಗ ಯೋಬನು ಸ್ವಂತ ಗಣನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿವಂತನಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ಮೂವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು. BSB BSB: So these three men stopped answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
2 ULB ಆಮೇಲೆ ಬೂಜ್ ಕುಲಕ್ಕೂ, ರಾಮ್ ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೂ ಸೇರಿದ ಬರಕೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲೀಹುವಿಗೆ ಸಿಟ್ಟೇರಿತು; ಯೋಬನು ದೇವರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ತಾನೇ ನ್ಯಾಯವಂತನೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಲೀಹುವಿಗೆ ಸಿಟ್ಟು ಬಂತು. BSB BSB: This kindled the anger of Elihu son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram. He burned with anger against Job for justifying himself rather than God,
3 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನ ಮೂವರು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ಯೋಬನನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸತಕ್ಕ ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಲಾರದೆ ಹೋದುದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೂ ಕೋಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು. BSB BSB: and he burned with anger against Job’s three friends because they had failed to refute Job, and yet had condemned him.
4 ULB ಅವರು ತನಗಿಂತ ವೃದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ, ಎಲೀಹು ಯೋಬನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ಮಾತನಾಡದೆ ತಡೆದಿದ್ದನು. BSB BSB: Now Elihu had waited to speak to Job because the others were older than he.
5 ULB ಎಲೀಹು ಈ ಮೂವರ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಕ್ಕ ಉತ್ತರವಿಲ್ಲದ್ದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ರೋಷಗೊಂಡನು. BSB BSB: But when he saw that the three men had no further reply, his anger was kindled.
6 ULB ಆಗ ಬೂಜ್ ಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಬರಕೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಆ ಎಲೀಹು ಇಂತೆಂದನು, <<ನಾನು ಯೌವನಸ್ಥನು, ನೀವು ನನಗಿಂತ ಹಿರಿಯರು; ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಸಂಕೋಚಪಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅರಿಕೆಮಾಡಲು ಹೆದರಿದೆನು.>> BSB BSB: So Elihu son of Barachel the Buzite declared: “I am young in years, while you are old; that is why I was timid and afraid to tell you what I know.
7 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು, <<ಹೆಚ್ಚು ದಿನಗಳವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಲಿ, ಬಹಳ ವರ್ಷದವರು ಜ್ಞಾನೋಪದೇಶಮಾಡಲಿ>> ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆನು. BSB BSB: I thought that age should speak, and many years should teach wisdom.
8 ULB ಆದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಆತ್ಮವೊಂದುಂಟು, ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರ ಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿವೇಕ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. BSB BSB: But there is a spirit in a man, the breath of the Almighty, that gives him understanding.
9 ULB ವೃದ್ಧರೇ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಲ್ಲ, ಮುದುಕರು ಮಾತ್ರ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಬಲ್ಲವರಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: It is not only the old who are wise, or the elderly who understand justice.
10 ULB ಆದಕಾರಣ, <<ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ, ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನು ಅರಿಕೆಮಾಡುವೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. BSB BSB: Therefore I say, ‘Listen to me; I too will declare what I know.’
11 ULB ಇಗೋ, ನೀವು ಆಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾದು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು; ಏನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೀವು ಆಲೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೆನು. BSB BSB: Indeed, I waited while you spoke; I listened to your reasoning; as you searched for words,
12 ULB ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೆನು; ಆಹಾ, ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಬನನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸಬಲ್ಲವನು, ಅವನ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡತಕ್ಕವನು, ಯಾರೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: I paid you full attention. But no one proved Job wrong; not one of you rebutted his arguments.
13 ULB <ನಾವು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ದೇವರೇ ಅವನನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸಿಬಿಡಲಿ, ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಂದಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ> ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ. BSB BSB: So do not claim, ‘We have found wisdom; let God, not man, refute him.’
14 ULB ಅವನು ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕೂಲವಾಗಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ವಾದವನ್ನು ಹೂಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡುವಾಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡೆನು. BSB BSB: But Job has not directed his words against me, and I will not answer him with your arguments.
15 ULB ಅವರು ಬೆರಗಾಗಿ ಇನ್ನು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡಲಾರರು, ಅವರ ಸೊಲ್ಲೇ ಅಡಗಿಹೋಯಿತು. BSB BSB: Job’s friends are dismayed, with no more to say; words have escaped them.
16 ULB ಅವರು ಇನ್ನು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡದೆ ಮೌನವಾಗಿ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಾನೂ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿರಬೇಕೋ? BSB BSB: Must I wait, now that they are silent, now that they stand and no longer reply?
17 ULB ನಾನೂ ನನ್ನ ಪಾಲಿನ ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವೆನು, ನಾನೂ ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವೆನು. BSB BSB: I too will answer; yes, I will declare what I know.
18 ULB ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತುಗಳು ತುಂಬಿವೆ, ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಾತ್ಮವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. BSB BSB: For I am full of words, and my spirit within me compels me.
19 ULB ಆಹಾ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿ, ಬಾಯಿಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಹೊಸ ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯು ಒಡೆದುಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗಿದೆ. BSB BSB: Behold, my belly is like unvented wine; it is about to burst like a new wineskin.
20 ULB ನನಗೆ ಉಪಶಮನವಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು ಉತ್ತರ ಹೇಳುವೆನು. BSB BSB: I must speak and find relief; I must open my lips and respond.
21 ULB ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಮುಖದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಬಾರದು, ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗಾದರೂ ಮುಖಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಕೂಡದು. BSB BSB: I will be partial to no one, nor will I flatter any man.
22 ULB ಮುಖಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನಿಂದಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಗ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. BSB BSB: For I do not know how to flatter, or my Maker would remove me in an instant.
