1 ULB ಯೇಸು ಬೆಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇಳಿದು ಬರುವಾಗ ಜನರು ದೊಡ್ಡಗುಂಪು ಆತನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋದರು. BSB BSB: When Jesus came down from the mountain, large crowds followed Him.
2 ULB ಆಗ ಒಬ್ಬ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿಯು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು, <<ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿದ್ದರೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಬಲ್ಲೆ>> ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: Suddenly a leper came and knelt before Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
3 ULB ಆತನು ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ, <<ನನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸುಂಟು; ಶುದ್ಧವಾಗು>> ಅಂದನು. ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅವನು ಕುಷ್ಠದಿಂದ ಶುದ್ಧನಾದನು. BSB BSB: Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” He said. “Be clean!” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4 ULB ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ; <<ನೋಡು, ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಹೇಳಬೇಡ; ಆದರೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಯಾಜಕನಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೈ ತೋರಿಸಿ ಮೋಶೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡು;>> ಅದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: Then Jesus instructed him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift prescribed by Moses, as a testimony to them.”
5 ULB ಯೇಸು ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಒಬ್ಬ ದಂಡಿನ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಯು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, BSB BSB: When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came and pleaded with Him,
6 ULB <<ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಆಳು ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವವಾಯುವಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ತೀವ್ರವಾದ ನೋವಿನಿಂದ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಗಿ ನರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: “Lord, my servant lies at home, paralyzed and in terrible agony.”
7 ULB ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ, <<ನಾನು ಬಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ವಾಸಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು, BSB BSB: “I will go and heal him,” Jesus replied.
8 ULB ಆ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಯು, <<ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬರುವಷ್ಟು ಯೋಗ್ಯತೆ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನೀನು ಒಂದು ಮಾತು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಸಾಕು, ನನ್ನ ಆಳಿಗೆ ಗುಣವಾಗುವುದು. BSB BSB: The centurion answered, “Lord, I am not worthy to have You come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
9 ULB ನಾನು ಸಹ ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು; ನನ್ನ ಕೈಕೆಳಗೆ ಸಿಪಾಯಿಗಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನಾನು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ <ಹೋಗು> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ <ಬಾ> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ; <ನನ್ನ ಆಳಿಗೆ ಇಂಥಿಂಥದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡು> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ>> ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell one to go, and he goes, and another to come, and he comes. I tell my servant to do something, and he does it.”
10 ULB ಯೇಸು ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಚಕಿತನಾದನು, ತನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರಿಗೆ, <<ನಾನು ಇಂಥಾ ಮಹತ್ತರವಾದ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: When Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those following Him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.
11 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದೇನಂದರೆ ಪೂರ್ವ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಂದ ಬಹಳ ಜನ ಬಂದು ಪರಲೋಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮ, ಇಸಾಕ, ಯಾಕೋಬ ಎಂಬುವವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು; BSB BSB: I say to you that many will come from the east and the west to share the banquet with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
12 ULB ಆದರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹೊರಗೆ ಕತ್ತಲೆಗೆ ಎಸೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವರು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋಳಾಟವೂ ಕಟಕಟನೆ ಹಲ್ಲು ಕಡಿಯೋಣವೂ ಇರುವವು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
13 ULB ಬಳಿಕ ಯೇಸು ಆ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಗೆ, <<ನೀನು ನಂಬಿದಂತೆ ನಿನಗಾಗಲಿ, ಹೋಗು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಅದೇ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಆಳಿಗೆ ಗುಣವಾಯಿತು. BSB BSB: Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! As you have believed, so will it be done for you.” And his servant was healed at that very hour.
15 ULB ಜ್ವರವು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಯಿತು; ಆಕೆ ಎದ್ದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಉಪಚಾರಮಾಡಿದಳು. BSB BSB: So He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she got up and began to serve Him.
16 ULB ಸಂಜೆಯಾಗಲು ದೆವ್ವಹಿಡಿದ ಬಹಳ ಜನರನ್ನು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆತಂದರು; ಆತನು ಮಾತು ಮಾತ್ರದಿಂದಲೇ ದೆವ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರಾದವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಮಾಡಿದನು. BSB BSB: When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to Jesus, and He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.
17 ULB ಇದರಿಂದ <<ನಮ್ಮ ಬೇನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಾನೇ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನಮ್ಮ ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡನು>> ಎಂದು ಯೆಶಾಯನೆಂಬ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ನುಡಿದಂತಹ ಮಾತು ಹೀಗೆ ನೆರವೇರಿತು. BSB BSB: This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases.”
18 ULB ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲಿದ್ದ ಜನಗಳ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗುಂಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಆಚೆ ಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: When Jesus saw a large crowd around Him, He gave orders to cross to the other side of the sea.
19 ULB ಆಗ ಒಬ್ಬ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯು ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ, <<ಗುರುವೇ, ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದರೂ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು, BSB BSB: And one of the scribes came to Him and said, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.”
20 ULB ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ, <<ನರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಗುದ್ದುಗಳಿವೆ, ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾರಾಡುವ ಹಕ್ಕಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಗೂಡುಗಳಿವೆ; ಆದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನಿಗೆ ತಲೆಯಿಡುವಷ್ಟು ಸ್ಥಳವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head.”
21 ULB ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೊಬ್ಬನು, <<ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ಮೊದಲು ಹೋಗಿ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಉತ್ತರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಬರುವಂತೆ ನನಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು>> ಅನ್ನಲಾಗಿ, BSB BSB: Another of His disciples requested, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
22 ULB ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ, <<ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸು, ಸತ್ತವರೇ ತಮ್ಮವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತುಹೋದವರ ಉತ್ತರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಿ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: But Jesus told him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”
23 ULB ಯೇಸು ದೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿದಾಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದರು. BSB BSB: When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.
24 ULB ಅವರು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಸಮುದ್ರವು ಅಲ್ಲೋಲಕಲ್ಲೋಲವಾಗಿ ದೋಣಿಯು ಅಲೆಗಳಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚುವಂತ್ತೆ ಆಯಿತು; ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ನಿದ್ರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. BSB BSB: Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so that the boat was engulfed by the waves. But Jesus was sleeping.
25 ULB ಆಗ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಆತನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ, <<ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡು, ಸಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ>> ಎಂದರು. BSB BSB: The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
26 ULB ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, <<ಅಲ್ಪ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಏಕೆ ಹೆದರುತ್ತೀರಿ?>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ಎದ್ದು ಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನೂ ಗದರಿಸಿದನು; ಆಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಶಾಂತವಾಯಿತು. BSB BSB: “You of little faith,” Jesus replied, “why are you so afraid?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was perfectly calm.
27 ULB ಆ ಜನರು ಬೆರಗಾಗಿ, <<ಈತನು ಎಂಥವನಾಗಿರಬಹುದು! ಗಾಳಿಯೂ ಸಮುದ್ರವೂ ಸಹ ಈತನಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯವಾಗುತ್ತವಲ್ಲಾ>> ಅಂದರು. BSB BSB: The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the sea obey Him!”
28 ULB ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಆಚೇದಡಕ್ಕೆ ಗದರೇನರ ಸೀಮೆಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ದೆವ್ವಹಿಡಿದವರಿಬ್ಬರು ಸಮಾಧಿಯ ಗವಿಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಆತನೆದುರಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಅವರು ಮಹಾಕ್ರುರಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಆ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ತಿರುಗಾಡುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: When Jesus arrived on the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, He was met by two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs. They were so violent that no one could pass that way.
29 ULB ಅವರು, <<ದೇವರ ಕುಮಾರನೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ಗೊಡವೆ ನಿನಗೇಕೆ? ಕಾಲ ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿರುವೆಯಾ>> ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿದರು. BSB BSB: “What do You want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have You come here to torture us before the appointed time?”
30 ULB ಅವರಿಂದ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಹಂದಿಗಳ ಒಂದು ಹಿಂಡು ಮೇಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. BSB BSB: In the distance a large herd of pigs was feeding.
31 ULB ಆ ದೆವ್ವಗಳು, <<ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಇವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿಸುವುದಾದರೆ ಆ ಹಂದಿಯ ಗುಂಪಿನೊಳಗೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡು>> ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡವು. BSB BSB: So the demons begged Jesus, “If You drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”
32 ULB ಆತನು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ, <<ಹೋಗಿರಿ>> ಅನ್ನಲು ಅವು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ಹಂದಿಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಹೊಕ್ಕವು; ಅ ಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಆ ಗುಂಪೆಲ್ಲಾ ಓಡಿ ಕಡಿದಾದ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಸಮುದ್ರದೊಳಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗಿ ಸತ್ತು ಹೋದವು. BSB BSB: “Go!” He told them. So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and died in the waters.
33 ULB ಹಂದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸುವವರು ಊರೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಇದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ದೆವ್ವಹಿಡಿದವರ ಸಂಗತಿ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಲು; BSB BSB: Those tending the pigs ran off into the town and reported all this, including the account of the demon-possessed men.
34 ULB ಆಗ ಊರಿನವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸಲು ಹೊರಟುಬಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ತಮ್ಮ ಸೀಮೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. BSB BSB: Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their region.
