2 PBBR Kalo sa' mangkat'n sok lait'n iko' inya rasul, paling kati iko' diu ta rasul bagimu', Barang, imu' diu ta meterai karasulanko' ka sadat'n Tuhan. BSB BSB: Even if I am not an apostle to others, surely I am to you. For you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.
3 PBBR Diahlah pambelaanko' tradap ayo kup'm da mariksa iko.' BSB BSB: This is my defense to those who scrutinize me:

14 PBBR Ladakoh uga, Tuhan marintah ayo'a da nyarita Injil ya' idup umpat'n Injil uga. BSB BSB: In the same way, the Lord has prescribed that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel.

16 PBBR Karna, kalo iko' nyarita Injil, iko' kati umpu alasanya' bamegah karna kawajiban dakoh ani ka samoko'. Calakalah iko', kalo iko' kati nyarita Injil. BSB BSB: Yet when I preach the gospel, I have no reason to boast, because I am obligated to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!
17 PBBR Kalo iko' nyarita Injil karna kahendakko' sadi, iko' umpu upah. Barang, kalo diah inya kahendakko', diu ta tugas da gat'n pacaya ka iko.' BSB BSB: If my preaching is voluntary, I have a reward. But if it is not voluntary, I am still entrusted with a responsibility.
18 PBBR Kalo ladakoh, jailah upahko'? Upahko' diu ta sa' iko' nyarita Injil, iko buleh nyarita Injil tanpa upah ge' kati mansara'gune'a hakko' ka sadat'n Injil. BSB BSB: What then is my reward? That in preaching the gospel I may offer it free of charge, and so not use up my rights in preaching it.
19 PBBR Barang, sa' walopun iko' bebas atas samaan sok, iko' jadi adupko' sadi hamba bagi samaan sok supaya iko' buleh mamanang'a labih karah agi. BSB BSB: Though I am free of obligation to anyone, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.
20 PBBR Bagi sok Yahudi, iko' jadi ulah sok Yahudi supaya iko' kaat'n mamanang'a sok Yahudi. Bagi sok da idup ka saroh Hukum Taurat, iko' jadi ulah sok da idup ka saroh Hukum Taurat (meskipun iko' sadi kati ka saroh Hukum Taurat) supaya iko' kaat'n manang ka ayo'a da ani ka saroh Hukum Taurat. BSB BSB: To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), to win those under the law.
21 PBBR Bagi ayo'a da tanpa Hukum Taurat, iko' jadi ulah tanpa Hukum Taurat (inya tanpa hukum Jabata, tapi ka saroh hukum Kristus) supaya iko' kaat'n manang ayo'a da tanpa Hukum Taurat. BSB BSB: To those without the law I became like one without the law (though I am not outside the law of God but am under the law of Christ), to win those without the law.
22 PBBR Bagi sok da lamah, iko' jadi lamah supaya iko' kaat'n manang ayo'a da lamah. Iko' ngalaka jadi sagala sasuatu bagi samaan sok supya nige sagala cara iko' kaat'n nyalamat mani ungan sok. BSB BSB: To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.
23 PBBR Iko' bulah samaan diah demi Injil supaya iko' buleh kaat'n bagian ka sadat'n'a. BSB BSB: I do all this for the sake of the gospel, so that I may share in its blessings.
24 PBBR Kati pane ta imu' kalo ayo'a da talama ka sadat'n suatu partandingan samaan'a talama, tapi hanya nyungan da narima hadiah? Jadi, talamalah sadamikian supaya imu' kaat'n'a! BSB BSB: Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way as to take the prize.
25 PBBR Satiap sok da batanding balatih manguasai adup ka sadat'n sagala hal. Ayo'a da bulah'a ya' narima mahkota da fana, tapi ite ya' kaat'n da abadi. BSB BSB: Everyone who competes in the games trains with strict discipline. They do it for a crown that is perishable, but we do it for a crown that is imperishable.
26 PBBR Sa' ladakoh, iko' kati talama ulah dakoh tanpa tujuan. Iko' kati ninju ulah sok da ninju angin. BSB BSB: Therefore I do not run aimlessly; I do not fight like I am beating the air.
27 PBBR Barang, iko' malatih unganko' nige karas ge mangguasai'a supaya sa iko' laka nyarita Injil ka sok lait'n, iko' sadi kati gat'n nolak. BSB BSB: No, I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.
