7 PBBR Anak-anak ko'k, usah mambiar nyunganpun ayo sok da nyasatmu'k. Sok da umas data man anilah sok da taman, Samu nige Kristus anilah taman. BSB BSB: Little children, let no one deceive you: The one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as Christ is righteous.
8 PBBR Sok da umas duse brasal umpatn setan karna setan Tampa danga ba'duse umpatn idu'k. Anak Allah utukng untuk tujuan diah: ngancur perbuatan setan. BSB BSB: The one who practices sin is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the very start. This is why the Son of God was revealed, to destroy the works of the devil.

BSB BSB: Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin, because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.

16 PBBR Ladiahlah ite ngenal kasih: Yesus Kristus ngalaka nyarah idup'A untuk ite. BSB BSB: By this we know what love is: Jesus laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.

BSB BSB: If anyone with earthly possessions sees his brother in need, but withholds his compassion from him, how can the love of God abide in him?
18 PBBR Anak-anakko'k, kaehlah ite ngayayang inya nige saratn-saratn ato rata'a, malainkan nige parbuatan ge kebenaran. BSB BSB: Little children, let us love not in word and speech, but in action and truth.
19 PBBR Nige diah, ite ao'k pane kalo ite brasal umpatn kebenaran ge ite ao'k neguh ate ite ka hadapan Allah. BSB BSB: And by this we will know that we belong to the truth, and will assure our hearts in His presence:
20 PBBR Sabab, apabila ate ite mansara ite, ge Ini'k pane samaan sesuatu. BSB BSB: Even if our hearts condemn us, God is greater than our hearts, and He knows all things.
21 PBBR Ayo-ageko'k da ko'knyayang, kalo ate ite kati'k mansara ite, ite umpu kayakinan adup ka hadapan Allah. BSB BSB: Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God,
22 PBBR Jaipun da ite mahi, ite narima'a umpatn Allah karna ite nurut parintah-parintah-A ge umas jai da ba'kenan ka-Ini'k. BSB BSB: and we will receive from Him whatever we ask, because we keep His commandments and do what is pleasing in His sight.
23 PBBR Diahta parintah Allah, lakadakoh supaya ite pacaya sadatn gatn Anak-A, Yesus Kristus, ge ite saling ngayayang samu da ngalaka Ini'k marintah ka ite. BSB BSB: And this is His commandment: that we should believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and we should love one another just as He commanded us.
24 PBBR Sok da taat ka'parintah-parintah Allah madi'k ka sadatn ini'k. Nige diahlah ite pane kalo Allah madi'k ka sadatn adup te'e, oleh Roh da Allah mangkant ka ite. BSB BSB: Whoever keeps His commandments remains in God, and God in him. And by this we know that He remains in us: by the Spirit He has given us.
